We had a terrible experience. Our 12 year old AC stopped blowing cool air so we called Royal Aire. The service technician Mike said that parts had burned and melted. He claimed it was at the end of its lifespan and that the model was or soon would be obsolete so he strongly recommended replacing it. The salesperson then called and gave us pricing of AC units between $8000 - $14,000. Although we have had NO problems with our heating, he offered "discount packages" to replace both for up to $20,000. Alarmed at the thought of having such a large unexpected expense, we called HIGNELL for a second opinion. They came, found the burned part, replaced it for $140. Done. I would NEVER recommend having work done by Royal Aire unless they change their ways and stop SCAMMING people. If we had put our trust in Royal Aire, we would have spent thousands of dollars on something that was absolutely unnecessary.

Our AC has been broken for FOUR days now and have had the same guy come out to look at our AC twice. Nothing has been fixed and we were told "leave it off for 2 hours and it should work after". Worst customer service I have received and they do not seem to care we are living in a 90 degree apartment in 100 degree weather outside.

Jaren was very friendly and knowledgeable Tech. Being that this was a maintenance visit, Jaren inspected everything that would be important to me for this coming winter. Verified and reported to me on the health of my system and replaced my air filter. Thank you again for your help.
