Jeff H was awesome AAA+++. On December 7, 2016 I woke up to a cold house when our 10 year old Payne furnace failed. Jeff came out and spent 2 hours diagnosing the problems and it turns out that Payne had a recall on this furnace due to a class action lawsuit (many failures). Jeff showed me live images of the internal problems with the Payne furnace. It would have taken 2-3 days to get the correct parts and this has been a problem furnace from day one, This furnace is also unsafe without upgrades. We decided on a better quality high efficiency upgrade and Right Now will have it installed later today. This spring they installed a new air conditioner. For profit reasons Building Contractors install the cheapest heating and air conditioning units on the market in most new homes and as a result the consumer ends up with expensive repairs and/or replacement within 10 years on a heating and cooling system that should last 20-25. I would recommend Right Now Heating and Air Conditioning and hopefully you will be lucky enough to get Jeff H (Supervisor) like we did. BTW...I called at the Right Now 24 hour answering service at 4:45AM when I saw the thermostat was near 60 degrees and falling. It was 10 degrees when I called and the high today is only expected to reach 25 degrees. I got a call back before 8AM and Jeff was at my door by 9AM. This was superb customer service on the coldest day so far this year!!!
I had an issue with my gas furnace. The technician came out and told me that I had a bad vacuum switch and recommended that we use a switch that had a lower vacuum rating. They wanted over $300 to replace a $15 switch that took the repairmen less than 15 minutes. They also told me that the heat primary heat exchanger was bad. I had it looked at by someone else and the exchanger was in good condition. The real problem with my furnace was that the exhaust tube was plugged. After reaserching into the problem I discovered if the repairmen had put the lower rated vacuum pump on my furnace it could have caused it to have a catastrophic failure and leak carbon monoxide into my home. Then the "Manager"/salesman showed up to do the bad cop good cop routine to sell me a new furnace. After explaining to him that I currently did not have the finances to replace my furnace he tried to sell my on financing that had interest rates that were the same as financial slavery. After explaining to him that I do not finance things he then began to imply that I was not a good provider for my family if I did not purchase a new furnace. I then had to sternly ask him to leave.
I had them out last year to use a groupon I purchased, seemed good then and did try to push some extra products on me then but not too bad. When our renters called and said AC was not working, I called Right Now to service it and they could get out there that day and waived my diagnostic fee which I was pretty happy about. They called back saying my evaporator coil leaked (said it was up by my furnace in the attic) and needed replaced and would have someone in that department call me. They did call that same day and said they would try to find a good priced one. No return call so I called, got quoted $1,675 to replace it and labor. I got a second opinion first, when he showed up and went in attic, renters said guy from Right Now never went in attic at all which is where he said leak was. There was insulation blocking the airflow, which if Right Now had gone up would have seen and fixed, and a leaking valve stem outside. Unit was recharged by other guy and valve fixed for under $200. I hate to see someone else scammed by not getting a second opinion! (I used CinderFellas for my second opinion, had it fixed that night and not expensive unneeded repair
We initially went with a competitor because it was the first company that came up in an online search for local service providers. The competitors gave me a price for multiple parts that needed replaced then suggested we get an entire new furnace and air conditioner. When we decided to go for the repair as opposed to the new system we were told it would take a week and a half to order the part. Needless to say "Right Now Heating and Air" came out the next day after being called and had the parts to repair the system on the truck. It was repaired for half the cost and instead of multiple bad parts to replace there was only one. We are extremely impressed with the service of your technician Josh and can honestly say that because of his honesty and integrity your company has earned a lifelong customer. When system replacement comes around you know who we will call first. After two weeks with out air conditioning in July we are finally comfortable again. We also would like to thank the office personnel for their kindness, their promptness in returning calls and in keeping us informed throughout the entire process. Thanks for everything
From all the local heating and air conditioning companies in The Magic Valley. Right Now Heating & Air Conditioning give us the chance to talk and understand the problems and solutions to our old furnace. From the first visit by Nick Slor, he went the extra mile to make the heater work, and even the furnace fail next morning. We call the company and Nick came back to work in it again. This time the diagnostic was bad since the furnace card was already failing. He got in touch with Jeff Habecker to offer us a plan to install a new furnace and air conditioning in our house. The plan was described and planed according to our house size, and economy possibility. After we agree and got financing approved a team by Matt and Rigo show up after the weekend to install our new furnace and air conditioning. The rewards of having a new central system will be a good service, energy savings and lower energy costs too. Thanks to all you guys for this high quality service experience and the chance to meet a good working team. Sincerely, Manuel and Tiffanny Lopez-Stipe.
Caution: bate and switch on a $14000 heating and air conditioning system. I purchased a complete Rheem system. Then Right Now tried to switch part of it to Goodmen, and I explained to them I purchased a complete Rheem system. I stated I would wait for the parts to come in so I could have my full Rheem system. They called and told me my Rheem system was in and ready to install 3 days later. After they took apart my current working system, they starting installing the new "Rheem" system. I asked the installers if this was a Rheem system. They told me yes. Half way through the system they unboxed the system and I saw that it was a Rood system. I then told the installers to leave, because this was not what I purchased. The following day their manager called and said sorry, they would get the correct system for me. When I checked the parts numbers they were giving me a 14 seer instead of the 15 seer I paid for. They bait and switched me two times on one instalation. They are thieves, be careful.
Installing a new ac/heating system was a huge decision for me and I like to shop for the best deal. I was offered numerous promotions and incentives from other dealers, but the required hoops to jump through were strenuous and very confusing. Right Now Heating and Air cut straight to the bottom line and gave me a fair and honest deal beyond the competition, I like that. I did not have to submit rebates, become a club member or even pay an outrageous APR! They were vary patient because I needed a lot of time to make a decision. I did not feel pressured to decide before my offer expired, they even accommodated me on my decision to add more product days before install. The installation crew was amazing! They were friendly and respected my time and property. The workmanship is solid and they did a thorough job from start to finish.
Phil S. showed up exactly on time, and cheerfully greeted me with a handshake. He then showed me the company credentials, and explained his backround. Then he took the time to show me all of the checklist items he would use to service the equipment. He was very competent, and to my surprize he was VERY thourough, checking out every aspect of my HVAC unit. He also carefully took apart my AC Unit, then cleaned it all out and checked all the readings. He did a great job cheerfuly without complaint (and it was COLD outside today)...when he finished he gave me copies of this findings (all good, thank god) and asked if there was ANYTHING his company can do to answer any questions, they would help. What a good Guy! Thanks to Right Now for sending him my way, I ill be happy to use you again should the need arise!
Saturday morning, 9/5/15, Justin K arrived at my home within 15 minutes of my call to the office. He identified himself and donned his booties before entering my home. Justin addressed and corrected the problem. He also set my programmable thermostat to my preferences and answered all my questions. He was professional, respectful and patient. I give him 5 stars! May I suggest that after a new heating and a/c system is installed (as mine was on 8/15/15), the furnace should be run to burn off the factory oils on the new equipment before the work crew left. When I turned on heat for the first time on 9l/5/15, my smoke alarms went off due the smoke created caused by the burning of the factory oils. That was the reason I called for a tech to come to my home. Thank you, Right Now. Arlene Russell
It was a 13 degree day and our furnace decided that it had had enough. My husband did some research and wanted to try to fix it himself, we called Right Now Heating and AC to see if they had the part for either them to fix it or us to fix it. They were kind enough to sell us just the part so we could install it ourselves and save us some money. We tried and it was still down and out so we called them back and they came out right away. Jeff Habecker our technician was knowledgeable, courteous, and even wore shoe booties to protect our floor when he checked the thermostat. He got us heat within the first 5 minutes of arriving! Thank you Right Now Heating and Air Conditioning for the great experience! We have no regrets!
Two years ago we had our AC and furnace replaced because we were told that it was getting to the point that we would probably have a lot of repairs and a lot of expense. Worst choice ever!! The AC has never worked right and often has not been able to keep up on triple digit days. We have had nothing but issues with our system and although the parts are covered we are still having to pay a lot for all of the labor to fix it when things break. We will tell all of our friends, Family, and neighbors to avoid the pink truck and go with someone who has a product they can stand behind like the Lenox system they took out of here that ran without issues for eight years, not this no name garbage that breaks after two years.

Had a new furnace/heat pump/AC installed by Right Now. All in all, service was pretty good. I do believe they out-guaranteed themselves. They guaranteed the job would be done in two days--it was not and they only paid out half of the $500 guarantee, they even stayed at my house working til 11:30 pm the second night. They guaranteed absolutely no mess left behind--there were messes left, although they did take some precautions to not make a mess. Also, in the two weeks after it was installed, three different repair technicians had to come out to make it right to keep the house warm. That was self-attributed to inexperience, however, it was an inconvenience for me and we went through some pretty cold nights.
Three Service Technicians arrived exactly at the time they had quoted. The lead Technician walked through the house with me, for access points to the attic and crawl space. He also noted the location of all floor vents in the house. They went about taking out the old furnace and air conditioner and then did a great job of installing the new system. They were at the house for 7 hours in total. All three were very personable and professional in their demeanors. When coming into the house, the paper booties came on. They were conscientious in making sure that all old components and materials were cleaned up after the new system was installed. The new air conditioner has been working like a charm.

Jeff was very professional and thorough. He took the time to fully diagnose all the problems with my AC and explain them to me in a way that I clearly understood. He outlined all my options so that I could make the best choice for my family. He was personable, friendly and on task. Given that our home is basically a small farm homestead, I think Jeff faced extra challenges. The machine was very clogged and dirty, the site was dirty, he had to go through multiple gates constantly to get needed items from his truck and work around my personal, as well as, farm animals. I think Jeff is a great asset to your company and would welcome him back for any future needs. Thank you, Angela and Mike Wolff
