***specifically auto loan services. I cannot provide info regarding other banking services*** In regards to maintaining an auto loan, I had a very negative experience with TFCU. Primarily because they are extremely disorganized. For example, if I update my phone number(or any other information) with them, they do not update their systems which results in my time wasted. They will call someone to get information that they should already have written down in their database and ask if you have any questions; however, if you do really have a question or need further assistance they can never actually help you. Then they will tell you to call a different number but then you can never reach anyone. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
One of the worst online banking systems I have ever used. On more than one occasion my account online has been locked and their 24 hour customer service is closed. Let me repeat that...their 24hr tower talk is closed after hours. How does that make sense? I have been yelled at by customer service and have been been provided the wrong information which then led to a late fee. I will never bank with them again
Always ask three employees for an answer when trying to accomplish something important here. Hopefully two of the three will have the same answer. Always get a name and a call back number for those who give you an answer. Between the temps/rotational staff, the inconsistent knowledge and the outdated processes there is no telling what will happen with your money.
I spoke with Parag Patel regarding information for an auto loan. Parag was very rude and unprofessional. I was in need of some simple information to do business and I was hung up on. I will never attempt to do business here again. Stay away!!
I Have 3 car loans and 1 condo loan with Tower Federal. No problems and if you get direct deposit through them you make it very easy on yourself to go online and make monthly payments. Website easy to use.
I find if you have a loan with them and you are not using them as a primary bank they do not accommodate you very well.
6 years with the bank never had to complain about customer service or any issues with my account. Towerfcu rocks.
It took 50 years and 50 phone calls just to request for a replacement credit card when I lost mine.
Incompetence galore - save yourself the headache and bank anywhere else.
