Buyer beware is the first thing that comes to mind when dealing with this dealership! I contacted them on Saturday, August 20th, and spoke to Sam (Smiley) to inquire if a particular vehicle I had seen advertised was still available, before I drove 45 minutes to see it and was told it was. Also, there was only one photograph shown on the advertisement and on the Harbor Nissan website, so I asked Sam to send me additional photos, which he said he would do right away. As the day went on I never received the photos as promised and I got busy with other things. So, on Sunday morning August 21st, I reached out via text and again was told the truck was available. Again, I asked for pictures to be emailed and again nothing. So, as a last resort I called the dealership and spoke to a sales manager, who assured me that the truck was still available and that Sam would get right on it and email me additional pictures, which was roughly 12:30 and at 3:00 I received a text from Sam telling me that the truck is now in the shop and not available until Monday or Tuesday. So yet another disappointment from this dealership! It is clear that all they want to do is play games and try to lure you to the dealership rather than having been truthful from the beginning. If this is how they handle a phone and internet inquiry, I can only just imagine what the in person experience must be like. Evidently this dealership is still stuck in the past as far as customer service and bad sales tactics go. I would encourage anyone considering this dealership to look elsewhere as I have done.
It is unusual for me to take the time to compliment a car dealer and salesperson. I have purchased many cars and I have rarely had a positive experience. But there is a first time for everything and with the help of COSTCO, Harbor Nissan and Mr. Chris Bennett, it finally happened. For the past 3 months my husband and I had been searching a car encountering the usual arrogance and ‘take it or leave it’ attitude of the car dealers and their salespeople. We were about to give up and keep our car when we received an e-mail from COSTCO advising us of its car purchase service. We knew the car we wanted and thought “ what do we have to lose, let’s get help from COSTCO.” We completed the COSTCO form and from that moment Harbor Nissan, in the person of Mr. Christopher Bennett took over. He contacted us the next day and we immediately noticed his courteous and personable manner. This combined with his ability to listen, quite unusual for a car salesperson, really made us feel at ease. Chris was super attentive to our needs, his energy, enthusiasm and knowledge of the car made our experience easy and pleasant. Even the financial part of the deal was done efficiently and without any of the usual gimmicks to get you to buy additional features. For the first time in my car purchasing lifetime I left the showroom feeling that I had been given a fair and honest deal and treated with respect. We have no hesitation in recommending Harbor Nissan to our friends and in particular Mr. Chris Bennett.
Living in South Florida, we visited the local Nissan dealership wanting to purchase a new Nissan Versa Note SL for our daughter. The local dealership did not have the color we wanted, said it was not even possible to locate the car within 1,000 mile radius. We searched online ourselves and found Harbor Nissan, they did have the color and model in stock and at a much better price. Within a few days, we drove from South Florida and had the perfect car for our daughter. We were treated with superior customer service, friendly and professional staff and best of all we were in and out with 30 minutes. If you are looking for a reputable dealer and an excellent sales team, just head on over to Harbor Nissan. We could not have found a better place. Thank you Martin Taylor for a great experience! He was so helpful, he even got in the car with our daughter and explained ALL the features of her new vehicle. We have never had any sales person do that with anyone of our purchased vehicles before. Aaron Kennedy handled our final paperwork and did an excellent job as well. Again, we were in and out so quickly and yet everything was handled very professional and in an efficient manner. Chris McCray keep up the great team you have in place at Harbor Nissan! You will have many satisfied customers in the years ahead. Thank you for a great experience, we will surely let our friends and family know about the ONLY dealership they should visit when acquiring their next vehicle.
I went with my wife to Harbor Nissan on November 23, 2016 and we met Matthew Garland. I described to Matthew the color and described the vehicle that best fits for me. As soon he went to get the vehicle and checking my old vehicle. When Matthew came back with the vehicle, I felt like i just won the big jackpot. Matthew knew what I was looking for and especially the color that I wanted. Matthew took his time with us and treated us like family. When Juan came to help us about the monthly payments. I saw I had to pay almost $500 a month for 60 months, but he told us he will try his best to lower the payments and get it for 72 months. As soon Juan came back he managed to low the payments to $450 for 72 months. While my wife and I was waiting, Matthew went to get our turkey, Juan came back with more good news and told us that the payments went from $450 to $401. I felt bless that day and felt like i was part of the Harbor Nissan family. I would recommend Harbor Nissan to family and friends. Harbor Nissan has the best customers service and best prices on vehicle. On top of that Matthew Garland offered my wife free lifetime oil change for her Mazda MPV. I want to bless Harbor Nissan and continue the good work. God bless you and see you soon when my wife is ready to buy Nissan Quest. Thank you for the best customers service you provide.
Worked with: Cody, Alex, Sonja, Tim The overall experience was great. I went down there on a Sunday (it was a 50mile drive for me), at which time Cody, whom I had been in communication with, was with a customer. Alex took over helping me and did a fantastic job explaining all of my options and finding the exact car I want. He patiently went through gathering numbers for multiple scenarios/offers on his Sunday and did not show even the slightest lack of professionalism. Hats off to him. On Monday, the next day, I returned to test drive the car Alex and I had discussed previously but was not on the lot. Alex was out sick so Cody picked me back up. Again, 100% professional and patient as the car was delivered extremely late. Cody did not once seem to have any issues with staying late to help me. Sonja handled all of the finances/paperwork and Tim was great at getting everything together to get my trade-in paid off. Overall I was very very happy with my experience with Harbor Nissan and would recommend all of my friends and family reaching out to them for their next car/truck/SUV purchase.
When trying to buy a new car, I walked out of dealerships that I had more interest in their product. Nissan makes a quality product, it was just not my 1st choice. I now proudly own a 2017 Nissan Titan. From my salesman, Moon Bamber, to the Sales Manager, Jim Poole, all the way up to the GSM, Jim Gardiner, this sales team far exceeded my expectation. They accomplished this with below market pricing, outstanding customer service, and stout professionalism. Got treated with respect and professionalism, even during the uneasy moments of negotiations. Kudos to Harbor Nissan. Really, I did not think the deal I needed was possible, at the end of the day it was. These folks truly go above and beyond the call of duty. I felt like a valued client and that Harbor Nissan wanted my business. And they got it. No buyers remorse here........... The team ensured my satisfaction by making the insurance verification and getting my new insurance card seamless, and a quick stress free signing of the paperwork. WOW!. This dealership has their act together.
Worst people ever need to be sued and shut down! I went to them to ourchase a car couldnt get what I wanted, said it had one owner , no accidents, mo th later broke down in the intersection with my kids in the car. Brought it to them and gave me a hard time about not paying for it, waited all day for them to fix it only to drive out of there a mile down the road to stall in the middle of the intersection again same problem not fixed why is that? Brought it back and remind you Jon in service dept was nasty and rude had to go anove and beyond to get the carnfixed again they didnt know what was weong so they gave me a loaner which didnt run that great either. Come to find it the car was bought at an auction and wasnfrom ny and had four previous owners. They said they wouldnt give me another so now went to palm which are amazing people and car is going back to harboe with a lawsuit attached!! They dont care about their customers or that they bad buy cars and sell them. Stay away and if you have a car from them bring it back!!!
I recently found myself looking for a new car after 12 years with my Jeep. After researching online, I felt comfortable with my understanding of Nissans and went to look at a few at Harbor. Tyler Lueck introduced himself and chose to be a friend instead of a pushy salesman. We found things in common, had a wonderful time while test driving 2 cars and once I was comfortable, he guided me through the process. I trusted that he was actually looking out for me, and worked with him in a gentle negotiation that led to us both being pleasantly satisfied with the final deal. He then went out of his way to help me take the new car, as well as the car I drove that day, back to my home in Cape Coral. He gave service with a friendly smile, was honest and looked out for what was best for me. Since the purchase, he reached back out to me and found me a set of floor mats (the one thing the car was missing). I happily recommend Tyler and would gladly work with him again myself.
I was stuck with $12000 of negative equity in a 2013 Altima! I drove 3 hours to see my college roommate Chris McCray (General manager) at Harbor Nissan! He assigned Martin to help with finding a car that my wife would like! Not only did Harbor get me out of the huge deficit, but they put us in 2015 Altima with every bell and whistle! To say that the experience was a positive one is an understatement. I have purchased many new cars from many dealers, but never have I felt the care and individualized attention that Harbor gave us! Do yourself a favor and drive into Harbor and experience the difference between being a number and being a customer! How any General managers do you know who provide their cell numbers to their customers? Chris wants every cutomer to walk away happy, and also wants to know where he and his staff can make you experience the best possible! They truly have earned a 5☆ rating from me!
Great selection of good quality used vehicles and very competitive pricing. I dealt with AJ as my sales person and he was excellent. Super professional but kept things light, fun and talked to me like a real person not a walking dollar sign. There was no pushy sales tactics and felt he was very upfront about the deal. Also worked with the manager Zeke who was also very friendly and a great help in getting me into a car. I have bought a lot of vehicles and been to several dealerships in my hunt for a new vehicle for my wife and this dealership and team of staff is by far the best I have experienced. If you need a good used car and want a good price I would certainly recommend them! Also ask for AJ, you will not be disappointed with the level of service he provides!
