After being denied a few times from SSA, then being dropped from one of the "big" SS law firms, i was feeling like my claim would never be accepted. One of the best decisions I ever made in my life was to hire Morgan & Weisbrod. I was never once made to feel like a number the way all these other companies tend to do. I had a fantastic attorney, John Driskill, who always made himself available to me and always helped me to understand where I was with my claim. I was referred to Morgan and Weisbrod and Carl Weisbrod handled my husbands case. I was impressed by his ability to navigate my husband through the process and help him understand the legal terminology and direct him on how to gather information from other sources important to his case. My husband had not kept very good records or taken some necessary steps that would have made the process a little easier, but fortunately, Carl was able to see past what my husband was asking for and redirect him in a way that helped him more. He was able to get my husbands disability, back pay and a monthly check for our son. My disability claim was denied twice. I went with M&W after the second appeal. Laura Hernandez took my case. She was thorough and to-the -point in her interview with me and in her explanation of what I could expect in my hearing with the judge. Laura told me that there were a couple of rough spots in my case and that she was going to ask me some hard questions in her cross-examination. The hearing was a little nerve-wracking but Laura got me through it. My claim was approved. I recommend the firm and especially Laura to anyone going through this complicated and stressful process.

this is a horrible place, they do not (from my treatment) have the clients best interest at heart. The staff has the cs skills of gutter punks, and from less than a month im through dealing with that garbage (im a disabled Vet and they have no social skills horrible interaction and no care to resolve problems!) and are happy letting clients walk away.
