I recently purchased a home in the Myrtle Beach area and used the services of Scott Umstead as a settlement firm. Our home purchase had several unexpected issues to work through, each issue was quickly worked through by Mr Umsteads office. When we had difficulty with our Sellers meeting deadlines Mr. Umstead was quick to contact me and, after our discussion, within an hour he had drafted a letter which quickly achieved the desired result. I found Mr. Umstead to be quick, decisive and result oriented. Living 8 hours away from the Myrtle Beach area, communication was important to me. Kim, who managed our transaction at Mr. Umsteads office, always responded within a short period to my daily questions, never once did she become annoyed with my persistence. I always found Kim to be knowledgeable and on top of my transaction. My family also owns another home in the area and we will now use this firm to handle any future legal needs. I can say without hesitation, if you are local or at a distance, you will be in great hands with this firm.

The absolute worst law firm in Myrtle Beach, they have completely butchered 2 closings for me. I should have know better than to used them the second time, but there wont be a 3rd. There a too many other attorneys in our area, trust me dont waste your time trusting this firm.
