I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Miss Sophie. I have since consulted other definitely more competent lawyers. This review is not to sabotage her image but please consider going to these lawyers instead. Chen and associates : Did not charge me a penny for consultation but answered more questions than miss sophie. Mr. Khurgel: Charged me 100 dollars for 30 minutes but was willing to stay beyond the time and answer all questions patiently. Mr. anish Vashista: He gave a free in office visit with lots of information too. Unfortunately I could not do in office and had to pay 150 per hour but totally worth it. About miss sophie: I sent an email with my resume so that she could evaluate to see if she can help with my situation. I got a reply back from her assitant Miss Jaylene"You have a very promising case and we would love to have you come in for an initial consultation. Her time is quite valuable and The fee for one hour is $450 and the fee for 30 min is $150" During my 30 minute consultation the first 15 minutes were spent on irrelevant questions in viz: Spelling my wifes name 3 times, how many kids do I have and whether I plan on having another one etc. I am inquiring on employment based and what does my wifes name and future family planning have anything to do with my case. She read the resume with long pauses and it was very clear she had not reviewed the resume or my situation. We discussed about relevant information in the last 5 minutes before 30 minutes were done and she abruptly hung up she had to leave. Miss Sophie when you charge 5 dollars per minute please dont ask me if I am planning on having any kids or not, Please do not ask me to spell my wifes name thrice ( does not matter if she is named suzanne or brittany in my case) Your time important and so is our hard earned money!!!
