We have an older home with absolutely no insulation. We had just put in a HVAC system in and to make this system work more efficient we decided to research insulating our home. We contacted about 5 different companies and researched very thoroughly our options. When Brady came to our house we were very impressed with how he presented the facts about our home. Insulwise ran a full energy audit on our home and used a blower door and an infrared camera to show the weak points in our homes energy efficiency. Brady was very professional and laid out the options for us. We decided to get the attic and basement insulated and we can already tell the difference. We are very satisfied with the service we received and will be using Insulwise in the future for our walls. For everything we had done the price was very good. We had all of our attic insulated with cellulose insulation (R-49), they installed a structural air tight cover over the sloped stair ceiling, they built us a very sizable catwalk for around the HVAC unit and for storage. In the basement they used rim joist spray foam to reduce head loss and infiltration of cold air.

My wife and I had Insulwise work on our house earlier this year to help improve the energy efficiency of our 75 year old house. We had multiple options to choose from and decided to get the attic air sealed and insulation added, the basement resealed and the cold floor between the garage and dining room insulated. All of the work was completed in 1 day. Everyone was very nice and professional and answered any questions we had. My only very minor complaint was they are only able to work on weekdays, but like I said, very minor. Would recommend if you have an old house and/or want to save on the heating and cooling costs escaping your home.

We had our old farmhouse attic insulated in December, 2015 as well as air sealing in the basement with a few other repairs relevant to the job. The work was done quickly and cleanly. The result was a much warmer winter without all the cold air flowing around the downstairs and with better heat retention. Their proposal was exceedingly well done and completely explained their recommendations. They were quick and courteous in completing the work. They actually needed to stop work in the middle of the project because they discovered some active knob and tube wiring that needed to be replaced. After the electrician was done, they came back quickly and completed the work.

Since then, the second floor is more comfortable in cold and hot days and the HVAC system is running a lot more efficiently. I would recommend having them come out and work on your home.
