Earlier this week my girlfriend was rear ended by one of Goodville Mutual’s customers. They totaled her car, we’re charged with the accident, and the claim has been filed. Our lawyer has informed us that as of this afternoon they have not been able to get ahold of anyone at Goodville Mutual to go over the claim. My beautiful girlfriend has missed work all this week, has internal bleeding, and lost her car! But do these people care? Obviously they don’t, this accident has taken so much out of us and obviously Goodville wants to take more. Whether it’s by skirting paying on a claim or by taking their damn time! I don’t have this company; but if this is how you want someone to be treated if you cause an accident then this is the company for you! Thanks for making a difficult situation even more difficult, Goodville!

This is a good company, period. I received prompt responses, got my check within 4 days of the adjusters submission, and they even provided me an additional check to cover the electrical costs of the 28 industrial fans I needed to dry out my water damage. You know what else I like about them: My adjuster loves working with them. They have a "how can we make this right for the customer" attitude, not a "how can we get out of this" attitude. Excellent service.

I was with Goodville less than a month, the customer service was beyond rude. I was able to get Nationwide for less with better coverage. Goodville reported that I had a lapse in coverage which is not true. My awesome Nationwide agent attempted to assist with the issue and Goodville admitted that I had insurance but will do NOTHING about it. My Nationwide agent said he has NEVER encountered such a rude and unethical insurance company. AVOID GOODVILLE

Driving straight through to FL for vacation and at 3:30am hit the biggest coyote Alabama has to offer. Reported the claim and that I was stranded far from home. Got a call from adjuster by 7:10am and by 8:45am we were back on the road in a rental and our Buick was in for repairs at a local dealer with hopes of it being ready for pick up on our return north in a week. And it was. Saved our vacation.

I have been with Goodville Mutual for several years. They are pricey. Recently I was rear ended by a person who did not look in her rear view mirror and it ruined my new Audi grille. She apologized profusely and admitted it was her fault but then lied to her insurance company and said that I drove into her car. My agent did NOTHING to help me with this situation. Look elsewhere for your insurance.

The hours that are kept for this insurance company while trying to service customers are so low it makes it tough to get ahold of people. Trying to help someone with a claim is frustrating because you get transferred so many times without actually talking to someone about the issue at hand before just having to leave a voicemail.

I have had Goodville car and homeowners insurance for many years. Unfortunately, I have had several claims. The claims were always paid promptly and hassle-free. Could not possibly be handled any more expeditiously. And the agents are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have no interest in shopping around for better rates.

Absolutely everything that is wrong with the insurance industry. I have owned my home for 23 years and never made a single claim. I have no debt and excellent credit. I made a book keeping error, and forgot to pay my premium. They refused to even consider issuing a new policy. Hateful people.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Stay away from this company. They are great at cashing your checks, but do not count on them taking care of issues when you need them. Stick with a reputable company, this is not one of them.

A tree fell onto our house and damaged our roof. The adjuster came and was very friendly and easy to work with. He submitted his estimate and we soon received a check to repair the damage. We are very happy with our insurance company.
