I visited the Lowell, Ma office of AAA recently for help in planning a road trip from Mass to Williamsburg , Va. I arrived as they were just opening and got immediate help from one of the staff there. I was supplied with helpful maps, books , brochures and other info on the area we are visiting. I am awaiting pick up of a specially prepared "trip tick " which is going to be so helpful on this road trip to an area we have never been before. Even with GPS this material is still a great resource to have at your fingertips. Thank you so much for the wonderful information and helpful, polite and caring employees . I had several issues to inquire about on my recent visit to AAA - Lowell. First I needed a map for my upcoming visit to California. We were traveling to several different spots, and I wanted more than my GPS to rely on. I was given my map, and also a book for restaurants, tourist sites and such. Then, I also needed a transponder for my car. The AAA associate was very helpful in explaining to me what I needed to do, and how to activate, and mount my transponder. She also made suggestions on how I might want to keep my account, without pressuring me to make any changes. She was very polite, friendly, helpful. I believe she said she had only been working there since the end of last year. She was very knowledgable and pleasant.

Peaceful compared to RMV, you sit down in real chairs, someone comes along and ask to review paperwork and tells you when your up. When your called you sit in front of a desk with all the necessary equipment for eye exam, pictures, credit/debit machine. The eye exam was quick and easy compared to standing and bending as you look down on a machine at the RMV last time I was there. You had the full attention and positive attitude of an AAA employee in a professional and clean environment. I waited around 20 minutes in a clean comfortable sitting area and bought a couple of discount tickets to Canobie Lake Park while I was there...

I love the benefits of being a AAA member but as for service in the Lowell office, they need help, especially on Saturday mornings which is the only time I can go because I work all week. Last Saturday I stopped in just for movie tickets and there were only 2 people working at the desk and a large line waiting. The 2 people in front of me had complicated transactions that took 10 minutes a piece. It would be helpful to have one line for quick transactions like movie tickets or just getting a map.

The Lowell office of AAA was wonderful. I had made cruise reservations on the website and had only received a booking/deposit confirmation, with no other information, like where/how to pay the balance. I went to the Lowell office to pay the balance, and they were very helpful and made sure I was put in contact with the correct people.

Service was great and the RMV representative was very pleasant. I probably saved at least 2 hours of my time by using the AAA. Two suggestions one is that the applicant fill out the form on line ahead of time if possible. The second is that there should be a monitor available to the applicant for when their picture is being taken.

I needed a TRIPTIK at the last minute, and they told me they usually need more time, but they would try. I called at the end of the next day and they said it was complete. I came by to pick it up, and I had a nice chat received some additional maps. I t is nice to get extra special service, when you need it. THANKS.

Called AAA due to getting stuck in a snow bank, AAA was great on the phone and sent 4 Seasons Towing to get me unstuck, the owner was Ronald Bartholomew and he did an outstanding job. Would recommend them any time for towing jobs. Very professional and very timely. Thanks, Ron!!
