Tom Rostron Company replaced my old Lennox furnace and AC, as well as existing water heater in December 2016. A project of this magnitude can tend to be nerve-racking for homeowner. While I did my research and chose Tom Rostron Company based on the expertise exhibited by Bill during his sales/technical inspection, I was nevertheless apprehensive about the job until I met the technicians, Bob (20+ years with TR) and Shawn (6+ years with TR). It immediately became apparent that they are customer focused and take pride in their work and the ultimate objective of satisfying the customer. Any time I had a question, they took the time, as did Bill, to provide not only technical answer but were also able to translate into terms more easily understood by me. The actual work performed, including some creative solutions to improve airflow of the original ductwork, was excellent and done in a timely manner. Heating system, as controlled by the new Lennox iComfort Wi-Fi thermostat, was turned over with very little downtime and operated nicely from the start. I look forward to switching over to AC in a few months to see the impact of the new AC system! In summary, we were extremely pleased with the entire purchase and installation process and highly recommend the Tom Rostron Company.

Never got to use them and based on the response I got when I inquired about an emergency call....I will never use them. As to be expected a fan on one of my ac units stopped working on one of the hottest days of the year and a Saturday night. After doing some research I was able to figure out what the problem is on my own but cant buy the part because now it is Sunday and all of the supply stores are closed. I called Tom Rostron because I live in the same town and ask if I can buy the part. I am told that they dont sell the part but would come out to fix it. The fee for the visit would be $131 and after telling the person what part I need I am told that if they fix it today (Sunday) that the part will be $400. I have already found the part online and it costs $30. I am then told that if I can wait, the cost of the part goes down each day I wait. I have no problem paying a premium for a Sunday call but this is outrageous and to be told that the cost of the part goes down each day I wait is absolutely insane and ridiculous. Tom Rostron Co would have to be the last HVAC company around before I would ever consider using a company with this type of pricing and policy.

I have used your services for many years. This is the first time I am submitting a review, but, it should not be. I have consistently received excellent and courteous service from ALL of your employees. The ladies who help me on the phone are wonderful, as well as every man that has ever come to my home. I know I will leave out some great employees, but, I can not allow that to stop me from recognizing the ones I can remember. Peter has done a great job many times, and Jay serviced my furnace most recently. Jay did such a good job, he was commended by another of your employees. That brings us to James Munez, who is your sole employee who operates your Duct Cleaning, Inc. portion of the business. He was very courteous, and extremely thorough and I believe he did an expert and excellent job cleaning my duct work and most importantly, cleaning out my dryer line. Having a heating issue during a cold snap is a very stressful situation. Being new to the area made it even more upsetting. Remembering seeing their trucks around town I crossed my fingers and gave them a call. The cheerful girl who answered the phone assured me someone would be out later that afternoon... and they were! It was decided a new unit needed to be installed... and within 18 hours I had a new heater humming in the basement. I was offered electric heaters to get me through the night. Everyone I dealt with was professional, knowledgable, and respectful of my home. Oh... and speak about CLEAN! All employees were dressed in clean uniforms, placed a mat under the truck so as not to soil the driveway, removed ugly old unit from my property immediately, and drove pristine clean trucks!!! I had such a wonderful experience that I recommend them to everyone without hesitation. Tom Rostron HVAC took all the stress out of getting a new heating system.

Overall a great service and team. Our project took two seperate 3 day installs (total of 6 days) and it went very smoothly. The teams were courteous and professional while in our home. We even had some special requests about where our new AC and hot water be located that were taken care of without a problem. We are very happy with the product and financing has made it very affordable to us. There were a few hiccups during the contract process with needing multiple signatures on some changes, but some of that was caused by a delay on our part. Some confusion occurred by having to put down an additional deposit that turned out to not be needed, which is great, but it has been more difficult to get in contact with someone in order to get the extra deposit back and close out the process. Still a 5 star service but some added attention to detail on the communication end can still be improved. Thank you!

My wife and I hired Tom Rostron to convert our boiler from an oil boiler to a gas boiler. Bill Suer was our primary contact with the company. The work was explained to us prior to commencement and finished promptly and without issue. Bill Suer was particularly helpful and obviously cares about ensuring that a customer is happy before the work begins, during its completion, and after it is done. We were happy with their services and will likely use them again. Since I got along well with Bill Suer, I would recommend asking for him if you call.

I was impressed by the product knowledge and application experience I encountered from two different install crews, certainly all very well trained. The three 2 ton unit install was done on time and when I arrived home there was no trace of the caliber of work that had go on! great clean up.
