My home needed a new boiler heating system. After interviewing three heating contractors, I was advised by a friend to contact DH Services in Lake Como. I am thankful to this day that I chose DH Services. David Hoh put forth a proposal for a 95% Energy Efficient on Demand Boiler, the removal of the old boiler unit, insulation in the attic, foiled backed insulation 3" thick on the second level side attic, spray insulation in tight places, and in two large crawl spaces foiled backed insulation 3" thick all along the outside cinder blocked walls. Once the new boiler was in place and in working order (February) I knew I had a winner heating system. No more loud noise coming from the basement, my home was warmer all over and most importantly the first bill came in $99.18 less than the month before.

We were very pleased with the entire result. Dr. Energy Saver, led by Dave Hoh, diagnosed our issues and completely solved the problems. We had a bedroom that was too cold in the winter, and they insulated in the attic and the ducts that led to the room. Our laundry room also had a pipe that froze, and they took care of that. They also sealed leaks in the basement. They were prompt, polite, and cleaned up everything. They arranged for us to get a credit from the state and interest-free loan. I would recommend them to you for anyone who needs parts of their house made more comfortable, and overall lowering of energy costs.

The DH team did a wonderful job of improving our attic insulation and sealing off our crawlspace. I went into the attic after they were done, and it is like another world up there! They accommodated us by creating a neat storage area for the stuff we had strewn all over, too. I also really appreciate the miscellaneous tasks they did to bring us up to code, such as replacing an ancient laundry dryer vent hose, and fixing several other cases of improper venting. They were very professional from start to finish of the project, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to improve the energy efficiency of their home.
