Highly disappointed. Paid for their services, they did a spectacular job receiving my money in a payment plan. They then set me up with a local attorney who did nothing for weeks. I called upright to complain and they tried to contact him only to say that attorney no longer works for them. They assigned me a new attorney who assisted me thru the steps from there. He was patient thru a difficult time I was going thru on my mothers unexpected passing and other unfortunate circumstances. Upon the culmination of getting all my information settled and organized just days before my credit course certification expired, there was just silence. After frustratingly trying to reach my attorney to find if I had gotten my account filed I went thru loop after loop with the secretary and multitudes of unanswered e-mails. I then received an e-mail from my attorney stating to check a document in the google drive without an attached link (we used dropbox not google drive). I replied to the e-mail to ask where the attachment was to discover my e-mail had been blocked. Called Upright only to find my account was closed a month ago and I was sent an e-mail stating it which I was not sent or did not receive. So I had 0 verbal communication to explain it to me to confirm I had received the message. And they want me to pay to reopen my account to get the same run around without actually getting filed. I do not suggest you use this firm as you are going to successfully be gambling with your hard earned money when you are having your financial difficulties that brought you to them. Do your best to find a local bankruptcy attorney.

I am a customer who wanted to write up a thank you for the great service UpRight Law has given me. It was very difficult for me to make the decision to file Chapter 13 because I have always looked at filing bankrupt as shameful. Yes, I was ashamed of myself and when I decided to call their number and ask for some help they were more than helpful. The first person I spoke to listen to my problem and help me understand that filing bankrupt is not always a bad thing. He explain to me that I could still pay my bills all in full and not damage my credit because I was not walking away from my responsibilities I was just getting help to better organize my finances. UpRight Law helped me understand that when this setback was all over that I would have a better credit score with all bills paid in full. I knew nothing and UpRight had the people who could walk me through the process. Their team would always be there if I had any questions they followed up with me every time I had a question. I found that they helped me feel confident that I could complete my bankruptcy and not feel embarrassed but feel confident that I made the right decision for me. When I contacted Upright Law, I had no idea as to what to expect...Truthfully, I had never been in the financial situation that I currently find myself in at this time. I explained my situation (My Husband had passed away on May 7, 2016) I tried going to work; but was diagnosed with a debilitating Congenital Disease...Feeling more and more helpless, and after months of attempting to manage on my own...I merely went online and found Upright Law. I read their synopsis, and saw that they have an AAAT Rating with the BBA (Better Business Bureau) and was most impressed by this...as I mentioned, I telephoned the next day...everything was explained to me; I was referred to a young Man named Angelo...Angelo, did what I call the discovery work, asking all the questions and gathering all my pertinenet information...I thought to myself; Lord you haved guided me to the right place and the right person...After much thought and deliberation; and reasearch that I did on my own...UpRight Law; was going to be a fit for me... I have no doubt that Upright Law will take very good care of my personal Chapter 7 Bankruptcy needs...and I will be "Truly Free" to begin My Life Anew.... I had pressure of wage garnishments...Philip Johnson who represents upright law for initial contact to set up for services mislead me with my situation. He told me that if I "paid in full that day" which I did...they could instantly stop the garnishments. Well, let me tell you that is not true! In order to stop garnishment...the bankruptcy needs to actually be filed! I set up for services on 7-27-15 and it is 9-3-15 and they are just now getting to contact the attorney to push filing! If I had not been lied to initially...I would have been more aggressive calling each day to push my case through faster. I was patient, as I figured they could use a day or two to contact me back each time, due to the fact I know they are helping many people each day. Tip: make sure that you get your paperwork complied as fast as you can...so they can do their part to help you. They will give you a check list of what documents they need...ask for that list ASAP! Other than the initial misleading information from Philip...I have been very satisfied with my services with upright law. I would recommend them to others. I look forward to my new start after this is all done. Best of luck to those of you who read this...I hope that it helps you!

This was a very big mistake and such a long story to tell but to sum it up the reasons I gave 1 star are: -poor communication -extremely delayed responses (resulting in prolonging of filing) -absolutely no organization -gives false hope -unfulfilled promises -OVERPRICED After posting this originally, I was contacted by Andrew at Upright Law asking me to change or delete this because "Alls well, ends well". He said since I got to keep my assets and my case was filed and completed (which is what I PAID them to do) that I should not have given 1 star. As if because they completed a job they were paid to do, I should just be happy simply because it was completed. This was an unnecessary painful process that was excused by citing an "influx of filing in my area during that time". Andrew asked me questions about my case and then refused to let me answer, talking over me throughout the entire phone call. He was very rude to me to the point I had to terminate the conversation. I really felt as though he thought he could bully me into changing my response.

I was very hesitant about filing bankruptcy and did extensive research on Attorneys, because there is many firms out there that just want to take your money. I came across Upright law and contacted them. My representative was a gentleman named Daniel and he was awesome. He talked me through the whole process and did not try to hurry me off the phone. He addressed every question I had and explained it in detail. Through the whole process, I was able to call him (and all the other upright law members) if I had any questions. The actual Attorney Andrea was just as great. I had a little glitch in my papers, due to my own fault and I was worried that it would halt my bankruptcy process. Andrea immediately took care of this slight glitch and things went smooth as can be. Upright law and their representatives are friendly, professional and most helpful. I would recommend them 100% if you think about filing bankruptcy. It was simple and quick. THANK YOU Upright law and all of your team members for helping me to get a fresh start!

Everyone at UpRight Law has been so helpful, kind, patient and willing to do everything to make this process as easy as possible for my wife and I. Reps such as Brandy Elliot, Rachel Rosenblum worked hard to get harassing debt collectors off our back and even getting us some money from the debt collectors. Kevin Tanribilir has been great with keeping us up to date on where we are in the process and what to do next. Kevin has shown us so much kindness and patience with our numerous questions on the process and with trying to get him any information he needs to complete paperwork and such in order to finalize the bankruptcy. I would HIGHLY recommend UpRight Law to anyone seeking to file bankruptcy. UpRight has also been so awesome with a payment arrangement with in our budget. When we were unable to keep paying our agreed upon monthly payment due to lower income, UpRight was more than willing to take a lesser amount. In my opinion going any other bankruptcy firm is a Huge mistake!

As a client with Upright Law, I am satisfied with their business ethics in aiding in clients to getting back on track of a wholesome lifestyle.In viewing and listening to the videos, I have already started redesigning my spending habits. Cutting out some of the wants for the necessities and making every penny count. The clientel at upright law are very helpful in guidance and i have never felt like i was in the dark. If i have a question, they have someone available to respond. I highly recommend their law firm in handling financial situations inbankrupsies as well as ither programs to illiminate a bankrupsy. My attorney as well as all the staff have led me hand in hand along the way to my financial freedom, checking and following up on each procedure that arises to the court date. They also offer a means of solution in their video programs easily taken online and using skype is a way of a one on one way of communicating.

I never would have imagined that filing bankruptcy was going to be in my future. I got to a point in my life where I was living at home, and I was living paycheck to paycheck. I knew that I needed to do something with my current financial situation because I was in debt up to my eyeballs from going to college. One night I decided to get on Google to see where I could find an attorney around my area. After reading several websites that came up on Google, I finally got ahold of UpRight Law. They really made this process great for me because they were so helpful. If I ever had any questions regarding my bankruptcy, I know that I could pick up the phone and call them. Service seemed fine right up until we realized i did not need to file the bankruptcy. Once it was stated i was to receive a refund in partial the gentleman i had been dealing with stoped returning my calls and emails. Even the attorney i got localy threw them tried with no avail. He was very professional and was a pleasure to work with. After a while i gave up on getting my money back. Over a year later i got a letter from another department wondering why my case had not moved forward. I explained what had happened and she was surprised but did her best. She even dropped the cost they had try to charge me for trying to contact them about the money. She was great but overall no i do not recommend them find local representation. DO NOT USE UPRITE LAW. I had a wonderful experience with upright law. They were very helpful and made such a painful portion of my life very quick and simple. They were very helpful by answering all my questions promptly and made the whole process easy to understand. My laser Gwen Hewitt was very helpful and worked on my case during hours that were convent with my long work schedule. She was very quick and efficient about getting all paperwork done and filed quickly. Upright law also worked with me on payments that were easy to pay and I was able to still pay my regular living expenses easily. I had a wonderful experience in a very tough time. I highly recommend that if you are having financial issues and think bankruptcy is your answer to give upright law a call. They are great.

Upright Law was there for me when I really needed help! I spoke with several different staff members at different times throughout this process Lydia, Kessler and joseph each one was knowledgeable about my case. I never felt like I was just a number to them - I always felt like a person who deserved respect - and I always got it. I was kept informed of each step in the process and never had to wonder what was going to happen next. There were times when I was feeling anxious about things, but there was always someone there to talk to me and help me feel better. Without Upright Law I would still be working so much overtime just to pay my credit cards and still not making a dent! But now I have time to enjoy life and spend time with my Family!!!!!!!!!
