I have been a member of USAA for years and am proud to say they are a professional, compassionate, and top rated Insurance Agency. We recently experienced a flooding in parts of our home, several times, and USAA was there promptly. They sent SPECIALTY CONTRACTORS, INC out to handle not only our claim but us. Ron Darby, from Specialty Contractors is absolutely amazing and was with us all the way from start to finish. He would come by to check on us during different phases of reconstruction and repair...not just stop by, but STAY until he was satisfied that timely and accurate repairs were being performed. Thank you, USAA for choosing Specialty Contractors. We love them and have already recommended them to our friends and relatives.....

Was shopping for homeowner insurance for my house. Other companies were quoting anywhere from $1,600 - $1,900 for a year. USAA quoted over $4,200 for the year. Sadly, this was with over $2,000 in discounts from the original quote of $6,000+. Shop with other insurance companies before purchasing homeowners insurance with USAA. I have found through my own experience, and others I know who received ridiculous quotes, that USAA boasts the highest premiums compared to every other insurance company.

My husband and I have been members for over 6 years. I would NEVER EVER recommend this bank to military families. We had fraud on our account and USAA took over 1,800 dollars and restricted our access and is closing our account. We have no access to our money. And USAA continues to take money. We have NEVER EVER had these problems before. WARNING: USAA is NOT BBB ACCREDITED!!!!! PLEASE DONT BANK WITH THEM! I never want to see any military family have to go through this.

I am 6 months in trying to get a clear title for my car that I paid off. Over 60 calls with erroneous information and zero follow up from their end despite promised calls. This is the worst bank I have ever used primarily due to their size, poor structure, poor training, and low tracking of quality service. All that is left if for me to find a new insurance company and I will have no ties left with USAA.

Actually deserves LESS than one star. Started dealing with Chanty Hespe in May 2017 about an accident that USAA accepted liability for, and then I FINALLY received a return call in August 2017, only to be told that they have changed the game on me...after I jumped through hoops to do all they said to do. Ms. Hespe interrupted me several times, then called me rude, and hung up on me. ANGRY!!!

I have never had a claim with this "Carrier" and I use this term cautiously because in my opinion, they do not perform as such. A 20% rate increase in my auto rate was just assessed. This is just a money grab so the upper management can continue with bonuses, etc. To raise rates 20% is unheard of in my opinion. Buy insurance elsewhere. This company is a great company at collecting premium.

I bought a new vehicle and unfortunately needs repairs. Called ussa today to see what they can do for rental car. Thay will not cover a rental car unless the vehicle is in an accident. Another typical insurance company you pay but when you need them nothing.

I had a local claim for hail damage and the agent quit and the repair shop held my vehicle for payment when they were not told that the USAA agent had quit and was not responding to messages.
