Asurion gave me an appointment time between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for someone to come to my house to replace the screen on my cracked iPhone 7. After no one showed up or called me, I called Asurion. Then, I was placed on hold my multiple people and then hung up on. I was finally able to talk to a supervisor (Kyle 137393) who told me that there was nothing he can do because no one is in my area to fix my phone. If there was no one to fix my phone, I should not have been scheduled an appointment time, charged $49, and had to wait home all day. I now have no way of using the insurance I purchased through Verizon to fix my phone. I no longer recommend purchasing insurance through Verizon because you would have to go through Asurion to use it.

Asurion played games with my child who is away at college in a hurricane affected area. Rather then swiftly honoring their one-year warranty, they strung them along through five phone calls over a three day period with nonsense steps to take in order to hinder the warranty claim process. It is difficult enough being away from your child while away at college let alone having a company attempt to bully and stymie them rather than simply sending a warranty replacement after some reasonable troubleshooting. They’ll take your money each month and your deductible when you need a replacement, but forget it if your looking for them to actually honor the warranty they boast about.

Great customer service and received my new phone very timely. Was able to activate and start using right away. However, the battery on this new refurbished phone does not last as long and find myself running out of phone battery usually around 3pm when my other phone would last well past 10. So I have to always be sure to keep around a plug and when I know I will need my phone away from a plug later in the day I have to keep plugged in or I will be without a phone. Since we do not have a land line my phone is a must to keep charged. I will probable need to look at upgrading sooner than planned so I can get a better battery life. thank you

At first I was very disappointed because the phone I had could not be replaced to too being discontinued. So I received a phone that was way different than what I had. Upon receiving the replacement phone it had outside damage and no information on this phone is have never had before. I called Assurion told them of the issue and they sent me out a brand new phone in the original box. They apologized for the inconvenience and my new phone arrive the next day. Assurion took charge of the problem and corrected it right away. Thank you for taking pride in your ability to provide excellent customer service.

Used Asurion when my husbands phone was stolen, the phone was shipped to my husbands hotel as he was working out of state. It was very convenient. Then the thief put the phone back in the breakfast area so the staff would find it. Asurion was great about us sending it back and refunding the detectable. Then two weeks ago my husband dropped his phone and we had to replace it so we did it again and it was as smooth as the first time. They are great and so convenient when you are busy people with no time to take off.

Worst customer service ever. I had a rep misinform me about how many days I had to complete the claim, when I tried completing the claim they told me it was too late to do anything at all, then they hung up on me, in addition to their website telling me, "According to our records, you cancelled this claim when speaking with an Asurion Customer Service Representative" which I never did... obviously because I need a new phone, hence the claim.

Asurion was great handling my case. The phone my son had was discontinued so they gave me a choice from 2 other phones. No problems and worked very timely to get my son another phone quickly. I will keep insurance with Asurion on our devices, bc there is just too much that can happen and with the expense the phones cost these day....it is definitely worth it in my opinion. Torie

Awful....been on hold for 7 minutes with someone telling me they are still pulling my information up They said they would process claim right away and then required that I fill out an affidavit since it was a new phone but would give me an answer in 3 hours...fair enough. Then said that they would make a final determination in 24 hours...still waiting

They did a great job! I got my replacement phone the NEXT DAY and considering I made my claim at around 4pm EST was GREAT. The replacement thus far is good. It may have a battery that may not be new however time will tell. That aside I am very happy DESPITE I remember when the deductible was $35 NOT $150 LOL LOL I guess I just gave away my age haha

Now that i got a smart phone i decided to continue to take the insurance and i was happy to have it when my phone was stolen while on vacation. The camera lens on my smart phone had cracked, making taking clear pictures nearly impossible. Fortunately, in hindsight when I got my new smart phone I was encouraged to also get the extended warranty. When I filed my claim Asurion was most prompt in getting my replacement phone to me in the time frame promised. Very satisfied.

spent all this money for the insurance, then was handed a bill for $150 for the replacement, which is a refurb only. I spent over $200 for a phone I can buy new on eBay for $100-$150. The replacement broke a week later so I STILL dont have a phone. This insurance truly sucks.
