The business I work for is a relatively new customer of Lightship Insurance, but so far we have been blown away by the ease of doing business with Lightship and the quality of information and service provided. We have worked primarily with John, and he is hands down the best agent we have ever worked with. He gets back to us quickly, he provides expert knowledge and practical advice on everything we have worked with him on, and it is clear that he is acting in our best interest every step of the way. He is thorough and really knows the business, so we know we are getting exactly the coverage we need at the best rate. He found a few gaps in our previous coverage (which he corrected in our coverage through Lightship) that could have proved costly for us. We have been so pleased with our experience on the business side that a few of us have chosen to move our personal insurance to Lightship as well (which has also been a great experience). Certainly can not recommend John and the team at Lightship highly enough.

After a new purchase of a rental property, my property broker suggested that I might be paying too much for insurance and that I should check out his insurance broker, Lightship Insurance. I did just that, and boy am I happy that I did. They saved me almost $1,500 per year on my overall insurance! My customer rep, Adrienne, went above and beyond the call of duty. She did my quote and secured my insurance over the Christmas holiday, coming in on her vacation to make sure that I was served and that my insurance was done on the closing day. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone who asks.

Horrible experience. Made promises that were not followed through on and very little lack of representation when dealing with pinnacol audits. I had no support from this company and was forced to get involved after being cancelled by pinnacol, at which point took forever and stalled multiple jobs we were bidding on. These guys will tell you anything you want to hear to get your business and once they get it, its over. Youre nobody. Its VERY obvious that they make their money upfront on commissions and could care less about your monthly payments to them.

My son and I were involved in a 30 car pile up on I-70 March 2013. Quite a disorienting experience: my vehicle was totaled and there was a barrage of queries from insurance companies representing two other drivers. The process was complicated and bordered adversarial. As the investigation wound on, John and the Lightship staff provided me with expert advice. Fantastic customer service. I worked with John. He was thorough, helpful, kind and he did everything he could to help me out and to point me in the best direction. The people at Lightship Insurance are amazing! They have assisted us with our companies insurance for years and we have recently moved all of our personal policies to them as well! Adrienne is AMAZING and is so patient with getting quotes and information. I asked a lot of questions when making the decision to switch our policies over and she took the time to address all of my concerns and made sure that I was comfortable with everything! What a HUGE difference a great and caring insurance provider makes! In the past year we have had to make multiple changes to our policies due to some unfortunate events..............Lightship took the time and had the patience to explain to us our options so we could understand and to lay out the cost differentials. After calling many agencies to get my answers questioned and speak with someone that acturally had a clue for what I was trying to accomplish I called and spoke with Adriene Barnhart.
