We had our first yearly inspection in the new home and apparently the furnace was not taken care of by the previous owners and I was remiss in changing the filter on a timely basis. Glenn Mitchell was the technician and was very thorough, and as we have a expensive repair he explained the general workings of the furnace and what was needed and why. As we are older, his time and patience was greatly appreciated. Of course, no one wants to hear this but he made sure we understood, he ordered the part and assured us we would get a call as soon as the part was received to schedule an appt. to replace it. We have used their service for many years and have been pleased and so we will continue to do so.
This review is in regards to Service Tech #508 (Joshua) who serviced my Carrier Infinity unit on 8-18-17. Josh is a top notch Service Tech who is very knowledgeable in his field regarding Hvac/Heat pump systems. I have dealt with him in the past and with each encounter he has been straight forward in answering any questions I might have regarding Hvac systems. He is a true team player and exhibits the type of qualities an employer should look for to have with the company. I give him my strongest review possible for the type of service tech I want working on my unit. Thank you for sending him out. I used their online scheduling form last night and got a email saying they would be in touch within a hour to confirm my appointment via email or give me a call to choose a new time. I waited 4 hours and never heard anything and went to bed with my AC not working. It is now 5 hours into the new business day and not one call or email yet. I am taking my business to somewhere else that values their customers schedule and makes actual contact. I thought this would be a good experience based on all the reviews for the company but I cannot deal with playing the waiting game for someone to contact me.
The provider replaced my air-condition and furnace. Worked with Jeremy Nanney during the system designing. Great guy to work with. Not a typical sales person. Very helpful. Would definitely love to work with him. 1. Jeremy was prompt and provided all options available for replacing my air condition and furnace. 2. Performed a detailed heating and cooling calculation (Manual J calculation) The installers Jeff and Tim Sprigler were awesome. They were punctual, courteous, and did a great job. I would definitely use them in the future.
Very pleased with the over-and-above installation of Darren Anthony #149. He re-routed a gas pipe to make it conform to our water heater and furnace and to keep it from intruding on the room. This was way above what we paid for. Loving the iComfort app that can control thermostat from my smartphone. Jeremy Nanny, our sales rep, also went above the call of duty in returning calls to answer questions and to be sure I was pleased with the installation. This is a company that follows through and keeps their promises.
I just started my HVAC maintenance with Becht/Givens six months ago and would recommend them. Charlie came and checked my furnace and was very informative. After telling me I had a crack he told me my options. At 5:30pm that evening Mike Hayden came and game me information on those options. The two guys that came to put in the furnace were very nice and helpful. Darren Anthony #149 came today to install the air conditioner and finished the job. He was very nice and explained things to me. They all did a great job!
Had Joshua provide AC Services today for my unit. He was very polite and courteous when he introduced himself. I got a call before he came and was on time. Joshua showed a professional attitude and was well informative with explaining thinks to me about my unit. Joshua educated me on the promotions and offers Becht/Givens had but never tried to push me to make a decision I was not ready to make. In all, it was an excellent experience and look forward to having Joshua back for our next tune-up.
I want to say Jeremy with Becht/Givens was very helpful in helping replace my old heating and air unit and working with me in deciding on a system that was best suited for my needs. Becht/Givens was very prompt in getting the unit installed and the technicians who installed it were very knowledgeable and efficient in getting the unit up and running. I have used Becht/ Givens for the last 12 years and I am very pleased with their continued excellent service and commitment to the customer.
These people are complete scam artists. They charged $99 for a service call. They came over after my furnace stopped working and told me I needed to replace pressure switch. I got a second opinion and they said that was absolutely false; the only problem was a small clog that the other company removed for free. Over a week later, my furnace is working fine. Clearly, Becht/Givens was trying to scam me. Needless to say, I would not recommend them.
I have had Becht Givens as my maintenance company since I bought my house. I wanted to give a special "shout out" for the tech who came yesterday when I had an emergency - Darren Anthony. He was competent, professional and ON TIME. I loved that. He was careful with his shoes on a snowy day and was careful to be sure everything was good before he left. Kudos to Becht Givens and this extra nice employee/tech.
We have been customers since 1992. They have installed air conditioning in three locations and heaters in four. We have been under a service agreement on three locations for many years. Today Darren S.ANTHONY # 149 came and serviced our house and another house. He was even early and waited for me. Great man, very clear in his explanations and as helpful as could be. This is a good company with good servicemen.
Winter maintenance was performed on our furnace by Darren S. Anthony #149. He arrived on time, was very courteous and knowledgeable about our unit. We thought we had a problem with our humidifier but Darren found that it was turned off at the saddle valve. This saved us about $280.00!!! Obviously, we are very pleased!! Thank you, Darren for all of your help!! We sincerely appreciate you!! God bless you!!
I have used them for several years and they continue to offer good service. Scheduling is good and the woman answering the phone(Diana or Dianna) is exceptional on the phone. I made 2 appointments rental and personal residence. It turned out to be the same tech-Joshua Wolf. He was knowledgeable and explained what I needed to know. I will request him for future work.
Woke up to no heat on a Sunday morning. 2 3year olds complaining of being cold. Frustrated I googled furnace repair and Becht/Givens came up first. Called and was told a technician would call at 8:00. Sho-buff he called and was here in 20 minutes. Charlie did a great job and he explained everything as he did it. Thanks Charlie. Our hvac unit was leaking because it was low on refrigerant. The dispatcher was very kind and understanding. Eric, the technician, came a couple of hours prior to his scheduled arrival time and fixed our issue in about 45 minutes!! We are very pleased! We will definitely call Becht / Givens again if we have an issue with our HVAC unit. Excellent job!
Joshua was the service technician that came to my home for my bi-annual furnace check-up. He completed his work without disturbance. He explained what he completed in the check-up thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. He provided information for other services that Service Experts provides for plumbing, too.
Ron Taylor was our service technician. He was friendly, professional, thorough, detail oriented & just a very trust worthy serviceman to inspect & clean our furnace in our home recently purchased. The previous owner recommended Becht/ Givens & we plan to use them moving forward under very good customer care program.

I have used Becht/Given for my home heating and AC needs for several years. They have always preformed above my expectations. Joshua came to provide the annual tune-up for my furnace and was very through and explained everything to me so that I was up-to-date on condition of my furnace.

Jerome Farnsley was my service technician for my fall furnace check. Jerome was very complete and thorough during the inspection. He answered all of my questions with very good clear, understandable answers. I was very pleased with the service I received.

Josh and Anthony did a great job! Replaced faucets and stops, replaced water softener with water filter (which I love -- the tap water tastes great!), and lots of other stuff.
