I’ve had multiple exceptionally bad experiences/outcomes with Jon Wayne at two different houses. Several years ago after a series of errors and poor workmanship by multiple Jon Wayne technicians I ultimately needed to replace an entire system that was only 6 years old. During the course of that experience I had a service manager sitting at my kitchen table that initially refused to speak to my friend with prior AC experience that I had asked to be present for the visit. It was completely unprofessional and an egregious violation of customer service 101. Given the history of poor workmanship leading to progressively more and larger problems as well as the unacceptable customer service I experienced, I used a different company to do the new installation and swore off Jon Wayne for good. I did not leave a review at the time, hoping this horrible experience was an aberration for the company and not business as usual. However, now years later in a new house, I made the mistake of calling them back since all the HVAC units in this new house had been previously serviced by Jon Wayne. Mistake. I called to request their seasonal tune-up and new filters for my 3 units. All units were completely functional for the prior year ahead of the Jon Wayne technician’s arrival. After 5 hours, the technician left my wife recommendations for two thousand dollars worth of repairs and upgrades. My filters had still not been addressed and one of the units was completely nonfunctional after the visit leaving all my children’s rooms at a very uncomfortable 87 degrees for the night. They were not able to help me again that day despite very clearly being the cause of the malfunction. I scheduled an appointment for late the next day since I was going to be at work until then. They initially accepted the appointment time. However, the next day they called to tell me they were not able to accommodate that time frame because it was too late. When I voiced my displeasure at this the operator insisted that I had “refused repair recommendations provided by the technician” somehow suggesting that it was my fault I wouldn’t have air conditioning for an additional day because of my difficult work schedule and ignoring the fact that I had completely functional systems before they provided their “tune-up.” Outrageous. I cancelled the appointment and called a competitor who was able to accommodate my schedule. It was against my better judgement for me to have called Jon Wayne back. I would very highly recommend anyone else shop around and use an alternate service provider.

I purchased my home 3 yrs ago and have had issues with the AC unit every summer since purchasing. I bough a home warranty from American Homeshield when I purchased the home. Dealing with them has been a joke every time as they always weisel their way out of coverage every time. The coil recently went out on the AC and although American Homeshield said it was covered, the labor and modifications needed to install the new coil, were not. Their contribution would have been 480 while ours was 2k. I finally decided to cancel my home warranty and just replace the ac on my own. After getting 2 other opinions on the repair, we learned that American Homeshields recommendation would have only lasted about 2 yrs. We would have spent 2 k only to be in a bind in just 2 yrs. Seriously American Homeshield for your home warranty is a joke and a fraud. We learned the the right fix was just replacing the entire AC system. We received a few quotes but were blown away with the assessment given by John Landin our sales associate from Jon Wayne. His presentation was super informative. He was light years more knowledgable then anyone else we talked to. He also spent 3 hours assessing our system to determine what was needed. He identified other things that no one else had ever mentioned that would have been added expenses in the others initial estimates. He basically hit the nail on the head with his recommendations for our home. The installation crew arrived the next day after signing paperwork. Corey and his team were excellent. they were extremely professional and courteous. The all wore little medical looking booties overtime they entered the home. Know one wants to accept that they need to drop a ton of money on a new ac but these guys certainly made the bombshell not so explosive and the experience great. I am super content with my purchase and know i have not just bought from a fly by company but have purchased peace of mind for me and my family for the next 10 years at a minimum. I highly recommend Jon Wayne. Ask for Jon Landin. This guy is cool and will not high pressure you. His thoroughness however will have you convinced!!

This review is for 3 Service Techs. Brandon J. ( AC& Heat) He arrived really quickly after I called for service. He brought his A game and was extremely knowledgeable about the services, products and current promotions they were running at the time. I had rat crawl into my outdoor AC unit and the fan blade made a mess out of it. Brandon checked the indoor and outdoor unit and gave me a full evaluation on the system along with removing the rat with a smile on his face the whole time. (age of AC,function,what it had, what it was capable of and what it lacked) He installed a wifi Nest thermostat, a Nest Protect Smoke monitor and preformed a winter tune up. He really spent the time to make me feel comfortable with the company and all the services they offer. A+ SERVICE and priced well Gerald C. (Plumbing) He was out to give an estimate on a water softener and filtration system. I just purchased this house and found out it has pretty hard water. Gerald tested my water and confirmed that I did have hard water. He informed me that from where the water was brought into my house that it was on the opposite side of the house from where I wanted to put the water softner. He was very knowledgeable about his work. No fault of his or the company but I have chosen to wait on the water softener due to cost of the new water loop that needs to be installed for the location of the water softener and this will in no way stop me from calling them for other plumbing services in the future. A+ SERVICE Juan M.(Electrical) was calm, cool, and collected just like all of the other service techs from Jon Wayne have been in the past. I had a smoke/carbon monoxide monitor that was not connecting to my network and Juan showed up on time and was professional. He found the problem and had it up and running in no time. He was extremely knowledgeable with their services, products and took the time to explain it all to me. A+ SERVICE and priced well

Thank you John Wayne. Carlos who came over to my home was very professional and comfortable to work with. I know very little about air conditioning/heating units. I did have issues with my existing unit. However I did not know who to call.. My sister in law had a unit installed by John Wayne so after speaking with her she assured me that Carlos the salesman was very thorough with all the information and by no means pressured her into buying anything. Anyhow she gave me Carlos"s number and I called him. Within no time he was willing to come over and see how he could help me out. Two days later he came over and analyzed my home thoroughly. He explained his diagnosis and presented all options to me. He did not pressure me at all. He showed me the high end which was more energy efficient of course and he showed me the least energy efficient which was cheaper naturally. After he fully showed me my options I was very very comfortable to make a decision. I purchased the unit and scheduled installation with Carlos. Everything was done on our terms, no pushy or lack of attention was ever felt by us. Install day came and I was very impressed by the technicians, very professional, intelligent and knowledgeable about what was going on he explained all to me. The installation to a full day and it was worth it! My cooling costs have been reduced by 66% and me and my family are very happy. Thank you Carlos with John Wayne. I will be seeing you for a good while because of the incredible warranty you all offer. Thank you again!!!!!! Highly recommended!!

My electric water heater gave out which made a huge mess (attic). I called 2 plumbing companies and both companies had to make appointments 3 to 5 days wait time to give an estimate . My wife called John Wayne explained to them we been out of water if could come in and give an estimate same day they were here less than 2 hours. Both people that showed up were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They took the time to put shoe wraps before coming inside. I was impressed. They trouble shoot found the problem an secured the leak at no charge. The concern was the leak would cost more damage. I explain I wanted to relocate and not mess with the water heater in the attic. They did the assessment and explain the cost. The cost was somewhat more expensive than the 2 other companies but Steve Baiza explained every detail of what they would be doing and what I was getting in return. Steve also offered a maintenance package deal that offers many special services at a lower cost. I am one that usually would tell them no thanks and go with the lower cost and not call them back much less give a review. But Steve was very good and courteous in selling the service. The following day 2 plumbers came John and helper both did quality work I was very impressed how everything was relocated and the great job they did. John explain what they would do before they started and they were done approximately 2hours (clean everything after they were done) I would highly recommend John Wayne pay a little extra or get what you pay for.

I began my search for reviews on different companies to replace my current heating and air conditioning system. I read nothing but good things about Jon Wayne, so I decided to call for an estimate. Then I met Jay. Jay was awesome throughout this entire experience. He answered every question my husband and I had, he was available whenever we needed him and he even came to our house, more than once, to make sure we understood everything. Jay introduced us to Kevin and Rodney. Jay wanted to ensure the work that we requested was possible and he wanted there to be no surprises when the project began. Kevin and Rodney came out to see how things were currently set up and made notes of what would need to be done. These guys are great. The day of the project there were so many people here to help. Jay returned with the crew and everything went smoothly. I met Johnathan that day, along with many others whose names I cannot recall at this time. Jonathan worked quickly to ensure the electrical work was in place for the install. He did a great job. Kevin came back with several others, to include Shaon. These guys are professional. I am very pleased with the work that was done and would definitely recommend Jon Wayne. I did not feel like "just another customer", everyone cared about the work they were doing and they made sure I was satisfied.

These guys are great – they are what all service people should be like. We have used a number of A/C service people over the years. The mom and pop outfits either didn’t show up on time or couldn’t figure out the problem. The big companies always seemed to have some sort of scam – perhaps to pay for their TV advertising. We called Jon Wayne when we couldn’t find anyone who wanted to quote installation of a whole house humidifier. Not much call for these except about two months in the winter and no one was interested. Jon Wayne came out and after confirming with the manufacturer gave us a quote we thought was very reasonable. They also suggested some additional changes to make our home more comfortable – no high pressure, though, and reasonable prices. They showed up in three huge trucks equipped to do nearly any type of repair or installation. There was an AC Tech, a plumber and electrician and they were good – it was an exceptionally neat installation and they cleaned up after themselves. After a few weeks, it was apparent that the manufacturer had undersized the unit. Jon Wayne came back and installed the next size larger. No extra charge and it works perfectly. Contrary to what I used to think about big service companies, Jon Wayne got big by doing good work and standing behind it. No question who I’ll call next time.
