My kitchen sink was leaking around the faucet handle. Needed new washer to stop the leak. I have a Moen faucet. Called Armendia and set up an appointment. A very nice and courteous plumber and his help arrived. Took the handle apart , replaced the washer and suggested that we replace the cartridge also. I agreed to this work. After about 10-15 minutes of work the job was complete. I was given a bill for approximately $262.00. I was floored by the price for such a simple job. Paid the bill. The plumber left and later that afternoon when I turned on the water it was discovered that it was reversed. The cold side produced hot water and the hot side produced cold water. My wife said we will get used to it. I said no, for $262.00 I want it perfect. Had to call a few days later and make a 2nd appointment to make the job right. I was told I had a 90 day warranty. The plumber returned and reversed the hot and cold to the proper position. Now a couple of weeks later I have to call again because the Allen type set screw was not properly tightened and the handle is about ready to fall off. Called Armendia again 3rd time to have a plumber come out and tighten the handle that was not properly tightened. I would do it my self if I had the Allen wrench to fit it. Hopefully the third time will be a charm. Armendia should be paying me for my inconvenience. I would not at this point recommend Armendia for any plumbing work.

I just had a major hot water leak last night. When I got home, I immediately realized I had a water leak from the Hot water Heater. I immediately went into my attic to shut it off. When I inspected the Hot Water Heater, I realized immediately the leak was due to a faulty drain valve. I turned everything off, the gas, the water, etc. The next morning, I called Aramendia Plumbing, and asked them to come out and repair the Hot water Heater. All that needed to be replaced was the drain valve(about $6.50 cents from Home Depot). I got a high pressure sales pitch to replace the whole hot water heater with a quote of about $2000.00 for parts and labor. I politely declined, as I knew all that needed to be replaced was the drain valve on the hot water heater. I then did the job myself, and replaced the drain valve at a cost of about $6.50(pictures are attached) and some of my own elbow grease. Stay away from these guys. They pitch a high pressure con job. I now have great hot water again, and a new drain valve on my hot water heater, and everything is great again..

There is no need to EVEN consider another company when you have a plumbing issue that needs to be resolved. Woke up at 3am to the smell of burning plastic, once I figured out it was my water heater I started looking for companies to call. I am 100% grateful that my first call was to Aramendia. The staff was empathetic and VERY customer centric. They showed up just a couple of hours after I called. Jacob and Bob were PHENOMENAL! After assessing the problem they clearly and patiently explained my repair/replacement options, and finished in the time they quoted. I did have another company scheduled to come out and fix the AC issue (the root of the 3am problem), but I was so impressed with Aramendia (specifically Jacob and Bob) that I cancelled the other company. Waiting for the AC division of Aramendia to show up now, this magnet will NEVER leave the fridge door!!! Customer loyalty is big in my book, Aramendia be sure to thank Jacob and Bob because they just earned you a long-term loyal customer!

We have been using Aramendia North East for our air conditioning and plumbing needs for years and would use no other. today my son had to have surgery. Around 11:00 my wife returned and found a puddle of water by driveway increasing in size around saturated soil.. we called and in short order John Duron and his assistant Ronnie arrived,diagnosed the problem and called for Gorge with a backhoe to dig a necessary trench.He also arrived quickly. Shortly after our son was brought back home,we had a completed repair of about 39 feet of pipe, running water and the trench was filled. All three men were courteous and kept up informed of what was necessary and checked with us when a plant need to be uprooted. . We will certainly continue to use their services . Today, we were truly grateful that we could depend on them.

We have our day spa business in downtown New Braunfels. We remodeled an existing building 6 years ago. "Working" plumbing is mandatory, as you can well imagine...we received an astronomical bid from a local plumbing company, which included tearing up a sidewalk! Then here comes Aramendia Plumbing with a VERY reasonable bid, with NO NEED to tear up the sidewalk, and all with a quick, professional attitude. This company may be based out of San Antonio, but they will come to wherever you are to help you. A family owned business who understands the needs of a small business, they shop and do business in our small town, and are truthful and honest. We will NEVER go back to whom we have used for our plumbing needs in the past. Thank you Aramendia Plumbing for being a truthful, honest, professional business.

The tech came promptly, but the free estimate turned out to be false since no clear problem was determined, just a vague "could be the thermostat or maybe the board". Wanted to charge $185 to do a "in-depth" diagnostics and told me that if it was the thermostat it was going to cost $395 (that was a discounted price to their list $495). Or I could have been looking at twice as much for replacing the circuit board on the unit! I sent him off and called another local (licensed and insured company). Paid $30 for the service call which determined precisely what the problem was (bad thermostat) as well as the cost ($150...not cheap, but not outrageous). Got the unit serviced to boot for less than half of what these guys wanted to charge me. Buyer be-wary!

We bought a ac/heating system last September from Aramendia. The system function fine until the weather got hot. We called and started a frustrating process of trying to locate the problem. We had several teams of technicians check for the problem but no luck. When Joe L. came and found three problems with the system. Another team fixed those problems. However we still had a problem. Tommy C. and Joshua came out and started from scratch and determined what the problem was and fixed it. They stayed to make sure it was fixed and even went out and brought back a new thermostat. They could not have been more efficient, courteous, knowledgeable and determined to fix the problem.

The service with Aramendia is Exceptional, after some problems with our a/c system that was installed 3 years ago by Aramendia, they decided to pull all the equipment and install a different brand. (issues with the brand) But that is not my story, my story is the "Service Department". These guys are very professional, polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all, on time, they even called me to let me know they were on there way! Each time I had an issue with my units, they would come out that day, or the next day and were right on the problem. I have used the in my Daughters condo, our rental property, and have used them for plumbing too!! I highly recommend you use them.

I would never hire this company again. Not only did the technicians leave the job incomplete, they also failed to do any of it adequately in the first place. When I called to complain they refused to try to fix the problem until the next day. I was forced to call another company to fix the improper installation. On top of that, they diagnosed constricted coils, and charged $2700 to "repair" the problem. To top this off, the repair technicians were so interested in our TVs, computers, and motorcycles (to the point of taking pictures with their cell phones) that it made me paranoid and we no longer store our motorcycles on our property. Run away! Run far away!

We used Aramendia for their commercial plumbing. We called three locally owned plumbers for free estimates when our grease trap broke. Of the three, they were the only ones who not only showed up within a reasonable time, but at all. We have used them in the past for other plumbing issues and were glad to work with them again. The two guys that showed up were very professional, kind, and worked quickly and cleanly. In the day we called them, they came out, gave us an estimate, found us a new grease trap, installed it and cleaned up by our usual end of business hour. I would ceratinly reccomend them.

We have used Aramendia several times for service. Each time they have arrived on time and have been very professional. The plumbers Raylon and Josh explained to me in detail why we were having low pressure with our water when taking a shower. They installed a regulation pressure valve and expansion tank at a reasonable price. We have also had a few a/c problems and we thought it was very nice that they sent the same technician both times to our house. It made us feel comfortable with their technician because he already knew our system. We will continue to use this company for our service needs...

Aramendia was great when I was having water heater problems! We had only about 5-8 minutes worth of hot water for a shower. Jacob was extremely knowledgable and showed me all the parts that were making my water heater run poorly. I now have a new water heater with a water filter & flow-tech to protect it all, all under warranty. I signed up for the a-team so that I can try to do as much preventative maintenance on our plumbing & air as possible in our home. I felt like I was in really good hands. Best part - they were on time which seems to be unheard of these days. Thank you, Aramendia!

I had a leak in the cold water line (in the slab) going to the guest bathroom. I called Aramendia Plumbing yesterday to cap off the water lines to the guest bathroom. I will be running new lines to the guest bathroom at a later date. From the time I called, to when the plumbers showed up, was less than 3 hours. The plumber was very professional and was quickly able to find the line to cap off. The price was about what I was expecting to pay. Considering the quick and professional service they provided it was money well spent. I will use this company in the future with no qualms.

We scheduled services and were told same day service was expected that they over booked so we needed to be rescheduled. No notice. On day of reschedule no show no call. Although they claim they called. They did not. Day after we called and were told they would do same day service. Hours later we asked how they were going to handle the repeated problems, but they just said sorry too bad. We will not be using this company in the future for any reason. We will let our fellow neighbors of Alamo Ranch know as well. I am sure they will see a reduction in service in our area.

Manuel Carbajal was the plumber that came to our house today to take care of our plumbing issues. He was so nice and went out of his way to help us with our problem. Price was a important factor for us and Manuel gave us options and explained each one and what it would cost. He worked quickly and neatly and did a good job of cleaning up afterward. Issues like this are never fun but Manuel made it a much more pleasant experience. Thank you Aramendia for having such professional, knowledgeable, caring people.

I can not say enough good things about Jacob C & Charles B. They went above & beyond for us. When we walked in our laundry room there was 3.5 foot Rat Snake sitting by the dryer. Lucky for me it was Jacob & Charles to the rescue. They removed the snake without killing it. Then went about their way of snaking our pipes. They were awesome & would highly recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing service. Job was done in a timely manner & work area was put back together. Five stars all the way!!

Manual and his partner Greg did an excellent job. They came right away and fixed the problem right away. They were super helpful and helped me understand what the problem was and overall were super friendly. They had great personalities and great manners. I am extremely grateful for their services and recommend them to anybody with a plumbing problem . Also,I called Aramendia, at 8:30 a.m. and they had Manual & Greg here by 9:15 I can only imagine how wonderful the company must be as a whole.
