I frequent this Woodcraft because it is close to my house. They are a great resource for speciality woodworking supplies when you are in a bind and need it now. Their average price of products tends to reflect this. Still helpful for odds and ends that require getting your hands on the product to make a decision. 4 stars for a couple of reasons. Although their wood selection is diverse, their average Bd. Ft. pricing is a little steep. The customer service is generally great, but at times I have had less than exemplary interactions.

Store is attractive, great looking stock of goods, but when I went in a clerk who was ringing up a customer gave me what I’d call a glare and asked what I needed. I told him I would like to buy some wood, and walked back to look at stock while he finished. No one else attempted to help me. After 5 minutes or so, the same clerk walked by, looked at me, then left through employee-only door. I took my couple hundred dollars of business to another store.

Had no desire to make a small item for me that I would have paid very well for. Had they done it I intended to have a large table for in five figures done. Bad business move on their part.

They have a ton of stuff here but the wood is REALLY expensive compared to the couple other places in town. Its nice but it is my last resort.

Good selection of carving tools. But everything is more expensive than going to lowes or home depot. Not a very good selection of carving wood.
