I don’t even know where to start with this company. All I can do is recommend you take your money elsewhere. Don’t fall for their “we’re local” sales pitch. I contacted this company to receive an estimate for a new roof after the recent hail storm. They told me that someone would get in contact with me in roughly 7 days, and set up an appointment for estimate. After 2 weeks have gone by, I call them back up to find out why I haven’t heard anything back. They tell me they will contact the estimator I was assigned to (Chase), and find out why he hadn’t contacted me. Later that day I receive a call from Chase and we set up a 1300 appointment on a Saturday. The appointment time came and gone and he did not show up. He did not call me. He did not answer his phone when I called him. He did not call me back after I left a message. Nothing!!! At this time I should have realized what type of company this was and just went elsewhere, but my foolish self gave them another chance. I called the company back after Chase ignored our appointment and they set me up with an estimate from a Keith. Keith came out a few days later. My house had a full tarp on the roof prior to Cloud roofing coming out. This was done by another company and was done to stop any further interior damage. I told Keith that I prefer he didn’t walk on my roof because I didn’t want the tarp to get messed up. I told him that I already provided Cloud Roofing with the USAA estimate so they already had the dimensions of the roof. He said they had to get up there and take their own estimates. Also while he was at my house the rope to his latter broke and he left it in my driveway for me to pick up. So a couple days go by after Keith was on my tarped roof and I noticed the tarp had started to come undone and was coming loose. This was on a Saturday and we were about to get rain later that night and on Sunday. I called up Cloud Roofing and told them the tarp is loose after their employee walked on it. It’s no biggie, I just need them to get someone out there to nail it back down before the rain comes through. They called up Keith and called me back. They tell me that Keith said “he did not touch my tarp.” Seriously!?! My entire roof was tarped. It was impossible for Keith to be on my roof without being on the tarp. I explain to them that I need someone to come out and nail the tarp down. They then tell me that they “do not have anyone on Saturdays,” and basically they are sorry. So the storms come through. The tarp gets blown off and blown to pieces. And I have water coming into my house all because of this joke of a company. After the storms I call them up again to see when someone can come out and patch the roof leak since the tarp is now gone and since it is no longer a “Saturday.” This first person I talk to tells me they will move me up and will repair my roof in a couple of weeks. I tell her that’s fine but I need the roof patched in the meantime. She says they will call me back. I then get a call from Keith and he asks why I need it patched because they will be repairing the roof this week. I tell him that is not what the last person said. She said a couple of weeks. He assures me that she was confused and it would be within the week. The week passes and I hear nothing again from this company. I once again CALL THEM the following week. The person I speak to tells me the supplies are on order and it will be a week or two. I try to explain everything to here. Again, it is fine if it is a couple of weeks, but we are to be getting rain and I need my roof patched in the meantime. Why is this hard to understand? The roof only needs to be patched because your guy walked on my tarp and cause it to break away from the house. Keep in mind, I had asked to speak with the owner on multiple occasions. I was told he was not available and they would relay the message and he would call me back. Not once did he even call me about the issues....Full review can be found on BBB website

After the hail storm in late April, I began checking for reputable roofing companies, and fortunately there are a number of them. I called Cloud Roofing and asked for an appointment for an estimate. They were very upfront about the delay of several days to schedule the appointment because of the huge number of people needing roof repairs after the storm. They got back to me in a few days and scheduled the appointment. Rachel Cloud came on time for the appointment, gave me a written estimate of the work needed to replace my roof. She was very knowledgeable about the insurance process as well. She gave me a projected time for the work to be done, which would be several weeks away again because of the large number of people needing work done. Cloud called in about half the estimated time to say they could begin the work. The crew who came were on time, and worked quickly. They took every precaution to get the old roof materials into their dumpster and left no trash behind. After the new roof was completed, I looked out on my deck and not only was the roofing material removed, but they had swept my entire deck, including the leaves! Everything was cleaned up as promised. My roof looks great and after the rain yesterday, there are no leaks! I am extremely pleased with the people and the work done. I will call them again for roof work and recommend them to my neighbors.

This may have been a good family run business prior to this year’s hail storms, but after their growth to handle the increased business they are one of the worst companies I’ve dealt with in quite a while. If you read this steer clear from them. I have an elderly couple that came to me for help because this company never finished their roof nor did they ask for payment after more than two months. They tried numerous times to talk to the foreman but were continually blown off. They were afraid that the company would sue them for payment and never finish what was paid for. The company HQ/office blames the home owner because they did not call the business to get help. After numerous calls and promises from the company, we are still in the same place. They maintain an attitude when you deal with them and continually try to blame the elderly owners. They left this couples roof in disarray and after I checked the attic, almost set them up for an early death. The Heater fluke was knocked off the roof, by the roofer, and if started would have dumped carbon monoxide into the house quite possibly killing them. I’ve asked them to have the owner call me and numerous times they assured me that it would happen. After over a week of my involvement, no call. Taking advantage of this elderly couple like they have is a shame.

I recently had a roof repair done prior to hurricane Harvey by this company. I had a leak around the chimney which had leaked inside on the ceiling. There representative inspected the area to be repaired and gave me an estimate of $850.00, and an estimated schedule for the repair, which as approximately in two weeks. With the hurricane approaching I was concerned that I would incur more damage inside so I call the representative and he came out and put a tarp around the suspect leaking area. This temporary solution held up during the storm and I did not have any more leaking inside. About two weeks later a roofing repair crew came out to do the repair which took about an hour. A week later I received an invoice for $850.00, which was the same as the estimate. I spoke to the representative to express my concern that the cost of the repair was very high for the materials and the the time spent to do the job.The representative offered to reduce the cost buy $100.00 but I feel $750.00 is still very expensive for the repair. I asked for an invoice refelecting the adjustment and a detailed list of the repair. Waiting to see if this happens.

6/10/16 I currently have hail damage to my roof and the insurance company is replacing my roof. I called Cloud and they took my info and said they would call me back to schedule an appt. I received a call back. The gentleman asked what insurance company I was using. I told him I was not sharing. He asked if I got an apraisal from the insurance company. I told him I was not sharing that either. I said you should be able to come out to my house and provide me a fair estimate to replace my roof. He told me he would not come to my house unless I was willing to provide and that was the end of our conversation. Be smart people. There are a lot of claims currently and roofing companies will try to take advantage of you and your insurance company. When the roofing company is wanting to know what insurance company you have and try to find out how much was "approved" to fix your house, its a red flag for price gouging! Make them pay the correct rate and not price gouge you or the insurance company. Be smart. Sorry Cloud. Thought a family owned local business would be better. My experience has been........NOT!

BUYER BEWARE - We canceled our contract with this company. They kept us waiting almost three months, took a down payment of almost $600 and then wanted us to pay they wanted the entire amount we recieved from our insurance company as well as our out of pocket deductible! Their contract was misleading and after realizing what they were doing we canceled. They base their estimate, not on the amount of material and labor it would cost for the job, but on the total amount you will get back from your insurance company, plus your deductible which is outrageous and greedy! Mr. Cloud was rude and arrogant and told me I would not be getting my down payment back. I had heard many good things about this company before hiring them and now I hear none. The company seems to have changed the way they do business during the recent hail storms and I have to say it is not a good change.

Just like other people said they want to see exactly what you got paid out from the insurance company and said that I was going to receive a second check from the insurance company for more damage that the assessor missed. He in a accusatory way asked me "Why do you want to save your insurance company money?" I said NO you guys have been doing this long enough. Keith Wright and I had a stand off in front of MY front door and it made me uncomfortable. Hit the bricks dude...I am not telling you what I got from the insurance company and then he went on a rant and even custed in front of me. Sorry Bub, go find somebody else that will fall for your vitriol. Very unprofessional conduct from Keith Wright. He got mad at my neighbor too who had an ARC Contracting sign.

This was the first time that we have had to have our roof replaced. After getting estimates from several different companies, we decided to go with Cloud Roofing and we are so glad we did. They arrived when they said they would and when they were done, you would never have known that they had been there. The work crew did such a wonderful job with both the roof and clean up. They even sent an inspector out to check the work once it was done. Our insurance company was also impressed with the estimate we were given as it came in under our insurance estimate. From start to finish, everyone we dealt with was courteous and professional. We would not hesitate to recommend Cloud Roofing to anyone.

Rachel did a great job of coordinating our project and went out of her way to meet with us several times and provide roofing samples to be sure we would be happy with our selection. The crew from Cloud Roofing nearly finished our roof in one day. They returned a day later to complete the house roof and replace the roof on our storage shed. They were very professional and did a great job. We chose TruDefinition Duration Shingles in Teak and were extremely pleased with how well it goes with the color of the brick and trim on our home. Well done, Rachel and Cloud Roofing!
