Last month in my apartment, the fire sprinkler in the bedrooms closet busted, and fluid (water and biodegradable anti-freeze) leaked onto my clothing, shoes, and carpet. I called the apartment emergency maintenance crew to come and repair the fire sprinkler leak. Then I contacted eRenterPlan Insurance Company. The Customer Service Rep. was very friendly and understanding of my situation. The CSR had the nearest Claim Adjuster to call and set-up an appointment with me to evaluate and discuss the personal property damage. The Claim Adjuster was very informative and thoughtful of this untimely situation. Within in three days, I received the insurance check in the mail to replace my damaged clothes, shoes, and coats. eRenterplan is an excellent renter insurance plan to have for unforeseen accidents/damages that might occur in your apartment, home, and car. eRenterplan is customer service friendly, knowledgeable, and dependable toward your untimely situation.

I received an e-mail that my my insurance about to be cancelled due to lack of payment (payment was set up as auto draft btw - wrote back to ask whats going on... The reply was that everything was fine and that I had nothing to worry about. I later get another notice saying that my insurance was indeed cancelled. At this point I am in violation of the lease...Tried calling 3 days in a row - only voicemail... Tried contacting by email - by the way there is no direct email to write to, you can only submit a form on their website - this is a little evil trick used by companies that makes it harder for you to keep a paper trail of your efforts to contact them <<<(RED FLAG)... no reply... All the five star reviewers say how easy it is to sign up - the rating should be about how the company acts when shtf.

Without notifying you, the company will add a "premium installment" charge to your plan and attempt to automatically charge you for future years of insurance. When I called in to correct this and prevent their automatic charges for insurance I did not agree to, they first claimed they could not make the change. It was only after calling in repeatedly that a representative was finally willing to remove the fraudulent installment plan from my account. This company makes money by scamming their customers. There are plenty of insurance companies (Progressive, etc) with the better policies and without the lies. Better to stay away from this one.

My landlord had been bothering me to get my renters insurance before my new lease would go through, I dodged this task for weeks thinking it would take up to much valuable time. Finally after she contacted me at work, I knew I could not avoid this much longer. But to my surprise I was able to go through the questions and get my insurance approval within minutes. eRenter even contacted my landlord with the correct paper work... so by the time I brought the proof of insurance sheet to her she already had it and was happy I used a rent plan her building trusts.

The website seems to be really very helpful, just by simple clicks I was able to get the insurance that apartment people asked for just by the website. There was no need to call and waiting on hold for getting a quote. Website also looks very neat and helpful. I would not say i did not checked other website for cheaper rates and eRenterPlan has cheaper rates and only $1 if you want to pay month to month; other company were charging $3 to $5 if you opt for month to month. I got an eRenterPlan policy few months ago. My neighbor’s washer had a leak and water came all over my apartment and ruined all the furniture. My PS3 was sitting on the floor and was damaged as well. eRenterPlan was very responsive in getting the value for my stuff at replacement cost. The adjuster who helped me was empathetic and very responsive in handling the claim. My apartment forced me to buy the renters insurance policy to live in this apartment and I am glad they did. Truly said, eRenterplan was recommend me as a first easy option. However, I tried three other websites to compared it. On each website, I had to fill in so much information, numbers, details, and after that I realized that it was only a first step and someone from the insurance company has to call me. I was exhausted from it and I tried the eRenterPlan....it was easy to understand, fast and in a moment I had an insurance contract without problems. Hopefully, it would be easy and fast in the case of accident or emergency.

I found this company to be very helpful. I have used eRenterPlan for a number of years and always had a positive experience. A few months ago I had, unfortunately, an opportunity to utilize my renters insurance. My insurance plan had expired. When I called to pay for my insurance, the lady said I would have to get a new insurance plan. And, she was very nice and helpful. I did not know there were different policies at lower prices, and she also explained that too me along with giving me a couple of payment options. This lady saved me quite a bit of money. I have not heard of erenterplan at all and ive been living on my own for awhile now. Ive been told that i should sign up for insurance for my home. So when i moved into my new apartment home, the front office people referred me to register for erenter. So i did, it was super easy, affordable, and pretty quick process and i was instantly insurance on the set date applied. Couldnt ask for better if you ask me.

Better price than major insurance companies plus they are straight forward with quotes thing that all other companies seem to lack. It seems like all the other insurance companies use the same 3rd party system to make a quote. ERenterPlan is easy, fast and affordable plus they done charge you extra fees for setting a payment plan you pay a month what they say you will pay its that easy.

Quick and easy to set up. Pretty average cost (as low as $9/month, peaks around $18 or so for the most extensive coverage, and then every number in between depending on what you want). They even emailed my proof of insurance to my apartment complex automatically, so by the time I went in to sign the lease 30 minutes later, management already had everything they needed.

I have been trying to call and email customer service. Left on hold and continually told expected wait is 20 minutes from this point. Submitted email question and the system responds with "We will get back to you within one business day". No email response in over a week.
