They do not even deserve one star and should not be in business with their breaches of customer care and security. There is no recording of phone calls for quality control and so their employees can say whatever they like to you and be able to get away with it. I have a personal experience of being lied to by Todd Kilmer, director of their collections department along with being harassed and hung up on. He refused to listen to my concerns and recorded only his opinion of the conversation instead of what actually went on during the phone call, in the phone call he first said he never makes exceptions for people in collections to make half payments and be in charge of their own payments to his knowledge, he gave no definite answers but then admitted later on in the phone call that he had in fact made exceptions before. He was extremely narcissistic, kept talking over me, and just concerned with his own ratings instead of being concerned about a long time user of UCCU. He ended up hanging up on me instead of addressing my concerns. I highly recommend looking else where and staying away from UCCU with a 10 foot pole.
If I could rate a half star I would have. This company has no clue what customer service is about. Everytime you call you will get a different answer to a question. They have zero concern for the customer and always find ways to charge you. In my entire life I have never missed a payment, but yet if you call to pay 2 days before the due date they wait to process the payment until after the due date and slap a charge on your account. They charged me 1,500$ for not having insurance for my car when in fact I have yet to drive 1 mile since I was 16 without insurance. Its taken a week to get it all ironed out. RUN AWAY !!!!!!!!!
Every time I have worked with UCCU, they have been very helpful and knowledgeable. I went in to get a signature loan, and without my even asking, the loan officer looked at my 2 auto loans and told me that he could do a 1 time re-adjustment from my current interest rate (which I think was 4.99%) down to 2.99%. Within 5 minutes, we saved hundred of dollars on our auto loans! The tellers are all very friendly. I have been with UCCU for 5 years now and will stay with them for a long time to come.
Between my wife and I we have been with this bank for over 10 years and honestly hate my self for staying with them this long! If I could give them a 0 I would!! I waited on black fri to get there .99 percent on a car. After hours and hours of jumping through hoops and 2 business days, they denied me after saying it was approved! I have heard countless stories of this crap bank doing much worse. I WOULD SAY TO ALL RUN AND NEVER RETURN TO THIS BANK! THEY ARE THE WORST!
I would like to just add another barely 1 star to steer people away from using this company for their banking. No phone recordings for quality control and harassment from their employees, namely Todd Kilmer, over the phone. They absolutely do not care like they used to about their customers, I had been one for over 10 years.
Absolutely no care for their customers and no way to prove your side of the story on phone calls that take place with their employees because they do not record them for quality assurance. DO NOT USE THEM.
I have had an account here for almost 20 years. Never had a single problem. Staff is very nice and helpful. They have really low rates.
Great company, and whenever I need something done, the employees go above and beyond!
