In 2014, I was hit by a car while crossing the street and suffered a broken arm and leg, among other things. Due to the severity of my injuries, I underwent several surgical procedures and endured months of rehabilitation. As a lawyer myself (and recognizing that he who represents himself has a fool for a client) I knew I would need competent, aggressive counsel to represent my interests. Familiar with Joe Cammarata’s reputation as a zealous advocate, I contacted Chakin, Sherman, Cammarata and Siegel within days of the accident. The very same day I contacted him, Joe came to the hospital to meet with me. From the moment I retained them, Joe and the firm took care of all my legal needs. Not only did they deal with the attorneys and insurance company on the other side of my case (which was to be expected), Joe and Eric McConnell successfully navigated through several issues I encountered with my own health and auto insurance companies. This allowed me to focus on my recovery and ultimately get back to work and the daily life I enjoyed before the accident, without the added stress of dealing with the legal wrangling involved in pursuing my personal injury claim. I want to provide this recommendation for Allan Siegel because I believe that people need to know that great counsel still exists. Allan is ethical, warm, kind and helpful. He is also a great advocate for his clients getting the best benefit for them possible. I sought him for help in recovering lost wages from an auto accident that left me with a concussion and head trauma. It is difficult and daunting to face the hurdle of suing another person when you, yourself, are the injured party, as I was in this case. Allan was a helpful guide throughout the process. Once we received the offer from the insurance company, he informed me of the pros and cons of accepting the offer. He was willing & IS still fighting for me on this case.
