I AM LOOKING FOR OTHERS TO FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST RUSHMORE. I was in the final stages of a home modification with chase when my loan was sold to rushmore. When I first contacted them after the transfer, I was told that they would continue with the final details where chase ended and give me the loan that had been transferred. After (3-4) months of sending in documents, they sent me what they called a pre-pre modification. The monthly payment amount was much higher than a general modification. When I asked them about this, they said the amount was basically fees to be paid every month for three months and then they will give me an interest rate after I paid this high rate for three months. I stated that the reason for the modification is to start at a lower interest rate and payment and he just laughed. My home was placed up for sale. I decided to review the packet that chase sent to rushmore and called the Making Home Affordable (HOPE) line. I told them my situation and because they have the authority to reach out to rushmore and review my entire modification process. Hope also told me that if my original modification had started rushmore should have completed the modification that was sent from chase. I just found out that they did an in-house loan. Hope is on top of this now. They will conduct a full audit of the modification process that rushmore claimed they did. Besides that, they send notice to rushmore to halt the sale of your property while the audit is conducted. Also Hope informed me that the modification should have been finalized using the mod sent over and not theirs. Something needs to be done. This company is a fraud that is scamming, stealing money and homes.

Shortly after making frequent calls to their customer service line I was contacted by one of their reps, Nick. He was able to quickly help me with the unsettled tax bill with the town in less than 2 weeks. I wish the reps at the call center were half as helpful as Nick. Original post: Customer service line is not helpful in any way. So frustrating to talk to them on the phone. Submitted a tax bill to Rushmore, for them to pay out of escrow. Tax bill was listed as paid on the Rushmore site, but was not sent to the town. 6 months after the due date, I received a unpaid tax notice. Contacting Rushmore they immediately put it into "research" and said that the would have more information after 21 business days. They did NOT say that it would be settled, just that they would have more information after 21 business days. Contacting my town, they say all they need is a copy of a cancelled check if the bill was paid (as Rushmore says that it was). So getting back in touch with Rushmore, asking for this information, and all they can say is that it is "in research," and to "call back each day to see if there is any progress." You cannot talk to the people doing the "research" directly because they "do not take incoming calls." When I asked if they could share any information on the progress made, I was told "No, call back in 3 weeks at the designated completion date."

I wish I could have an option for giving zero stars. Absolutely unprofessional, working on a loan mod in which they solicit. We sent in hundreds of pages of documents, they continue to tell us that they did not receive, re-fax, still state they did not receive. Then they change and say that additional docs are needed, I fax, I call again, someone then states that they did not have the initial mod application? Keep in mind no one has called me, I have continued to call them. Left our loan mod contact "David" at least 10 messages, still to this day he has not called back.. Called again, spoke to Aerial who rudely stated that if he had not received missing docs by Friday he was closing case?? What?? He stated that because we were in a BK that it worked against us because he could not speak to us until he received a release letter from our attorney.. yet the clock is ticking.. Sounds like discrimination.. Filed a complaint with BBB. I called again today, finally spoke to someone helpful who requested we email the docs to her so she could get them and forward immediately.. What a novel concept since we are in the technology era. I am just praying that they will start working with us. Obama has so many programs in place.. I do plan on escalating this and from what I see from other posts, my experience is the norm. Sad...

My loan was Service Transferred over to this NIGHTMARE of a company from CitiMortgage a few months ago and it has been pure HELL!!! I would like to file an Official Complaint Lawsuit against this so called Mortgage Servicing company. Instead of helping the borrowers save and stay in their homes. These people are in business of taking homes. I seriously think they go by and have tired to make up their own Mortgage Laws. But before this is all over. I am going to have the Bureau of Consumer Protection | Federal Trade Commission look into this company because how they are handling our loans is NOT THE LAW / Correct way of doing things. Their Customer Service reps are totally RUDE as HELL!!! They make you want to come through the phone lines on them. And the person, once you do get someone you thought was decent enough to talk too. Is absolutely RUDE too and NO Freaken help to you at all. But I am going to keep on filing complaints about this company until a State or Federal Firm jumps in and gives us a helping hand with the people who are out to get us and NOT HELP us. As God is my Witness!!!

The service of my loan was transferred to Rushmore 11/2014 and in the past 8 months they have been unable to get my balances correct. Additionally, they filed fraudulent claims with the court stating I owed a significant outstanding balance; which they later rescinded, only after forcing me to hire a lawyer to dispute it (which simply involved submitting the receipts of my timely payments that Rushmore themselves had already provided me, which vastly conflicted with the claim they filed with the court). I call them twice a month, and am given many excuses as to why my loan balances are incorrect and inaccessible (namely that the company is doing an audit on the loan - now going on 8 months). I have been told for over 6 months that the loan has been corrected, and that the account should reflect it in anywhere from 2 days to 3-4 weeks. It has still not been fixed, nothing has changed. If you have any choice in the matter, listen to this and every other reviewer and complaint filer and avoid this company.

Can not get any competent person at their "corporate headquarters" to rectify an issue they created. Rushmore purchased my loan from Shellpoint MTG. I never received a servicing change letter from Rushmore. I continued to make my payments to Shellpoint. On December 27th I received a notice from Rushmore stating that I was delinquent on my Dec payment. I immediately contacted my Bank they confirmed that the December payment was withdrawn from Shellpoint on 12/16 . I immediately contacted Shellpoint, they confirmed that they wired my payment to Rushmore on Dec 21...Rushmore claims they never received it . WHERE IS MY PAYMENT!!!!!!!! I CAN NOT GET ANY ANSWERS from anybody at corporate. I am at risk of being reported 30 days down on my MTG. when in fact I AM NOT and never have been in 20 years of paying a MTG. STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM RUSHMORE if you are looking for customer care and service THEY CAN NOT PROVIDE IT

Rushmore is a very unprofessional lender with very slow processing speed. (1) My mortgage was sold to Rushmore. I did not receive new loan number nor payment instruction and was unable to speak to any real person during my many calls to Rushmore (only machine recording). (2) Payment instruction was mailed 20+ days after due date. I scheduled online payment right away but several days later Rushmore debt collection call & mail indicating my payment was late and my mortgage was delinquent. (3) Rushmore did not send out new loan number / payment instruction in time but accused customer loan delinquent duo to lack of loan number / payment instruction. Rushmore caused customer confusions very much and made one simple payment very slow and very difficult.

WORST COMAPNY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Loan was recently sold to Rushmore and even though my account was previously Escrowed with my other company they did not pay my insurance and my home owners insurance is about to be dropped so now 13 days before Christmas I have to pay $700 out of pocket. and I then have to provide a bunch of documents to them and receipts before they can even correct the issue. even though they are taking money out of my payment each month and putting it in to a escrow account. not to mention the RUDE EMPLOYEES!!!!!! I can not express how much I dislike this company

Worst Company to do business with. I have recently learned my account has been sold to Rushmore without any notice, phone call or letter. The only reason i found out is becausr they have sent a letter stating i was behind on my mortage. And how is that when it comes out my bank account monthly. The customer representatives are unprofessional and nasty. I have had a friend that had the same problems as i did with Rushmore and showed me a letter she received from her lawyer on how many people where fraudulently being trsnsfer, accused of missing payments and being foreclosed by Rushmore!!

I do not have time in life to write reviews for a company. I feel I have no choice in this situation BUT to write one to warn the entire world. My loan was sold to Rushmore Loan Services. I have done business throughout the world. Many different countries and with thousands of different companies. Rushmore Load is pure evil. It is pathetic. It should be charged with impersonating a company and given the death penalty. There is NO and I mean NO company on this planet worse then this one. I am now willing to pay thousands of dollars to re-finance to JUST GET AWAY FROM THEM.

Worst company I have EVER dealt with. They are rude, they do not communicate between departments, they have lost information sent to them and do not have a secure way of communication so who knows where my personal information may have ended up. They are not honest, it may be just the people I have dealt with or it may just be the company process. I will pay what ever I have to just to get my mortgage with another company. Do not initiate a mortgage with them and run if your mortgage is sold to them. You will see that why they have so many negative reviews.

Awful experience. I knew when my loan got sold I was in for an uphill battle.. well at first I was extremely excited that I had received a loan mitigation contact that appeared to be helpful. She got us into a trial mod and I actually believed that it was going to be ok.. well after almost a year, our loan has been bought out again.. they still have not gotten the info from Rushmore and once Rushmore knew that my loan was being bought out they acted as if they no longer knew us and pretty much dismissed us.

Lousy customer service, horrible communication, I just sent them fax and got confirmation of success but their representative said it is not received. They provide a link to upload documents but it does not work. I have spent about 2 hours of my time just to go through their phone system and speak to the rep who did not help me. It looks like they do not know anything about internet technology and still live in the last century. Recommend to stay away of this company. They do not deserve even one star.

I was affected by hurricane Irma and called on September 15 th to get September payment deferred and the customer service agent told me yes they could do it all I needed was to sign a form and sent it back to them and I never received the form. I called several times asking about the form and every time I was told it was going to be done. Now on October 25 I was sent a intent to foreclose letter. They lied to me shame on you Rushmore
