Had been with Zander for 3 years...Year 1 service & costs were great. Unfortunately each year thereafter the quality of service of my account went down and the costs for coverage kept increasing. Shopped all three policies around and went with a different carrier. 03/28/2016: Update to my review. Out of the blue I received a call from Joshua Vollet - Executive Vice President for Zander Insurance. He was calling about my review and wanted to apologize for the poor service I received which resulted in the loss of my business. I never expected to hear or deal with Zander again but Joshua was sincere and concerned with the way I was treated. Bottom line…I gave him and Carolyn Chelsvig (Personal Insurance Specialist) an opportunity to bid for my business again as everything was coming due. Zander did not win but the quotes were competitive. They were not upset and understood, I will give them another shot next year.

Love these guys. Helpful, local company that truly puts service first. We had a claim on our car insurance recently and they have gone above and beyond to help us resolve issues we’ve had with the insurance company and the body shop. They call you back when they say they will and they take the time to explain something when you have a question. The sales experience on the front end was also stellar and we got great rates on our insurance. We highly recommend them.

Ada and Nancy took great care of me as they walked me through the steps to get my first term life policy in place. From day one I was kept very well informed of the status of my application, and when I had any questions, I had answers back immediately. For something as boring as life insurance, the Zander team surely made it a great experience with top notch customer service. I wish all of my purchases were serviced this well. I always knew what was going on in the process of getting my life insurance. There were follow up emails and multiple ways to contact the company in the event of a question coming up. I never felt "lost," even though the task of getting insurance was far over my head (usually my hubby does that stuff for me). Even my in-home visit for bloodwork was enjoyable!
