My overall dealings with Stange Law Firm have been a pleasant experience throughout my divorce proceedings. As you know dissolution cases can be very difficult and can cause a strain on you mentally, physically and financially to say the least. However, with Stange Law firm they were able to help me throughout this legal process. Due to unforeseeable circumstances during the beginning of my heavily contested divorce my original attorney left the firm. I was very stressed during this time and I was uncertain of how the divorce proceedings would continue with this change. However, Mr. Chad Hager, was assigned my case and he was able to tackle my case head on and made the attorney transition seem seamless. Mr. Hager was professional, informative, easily accessible and knowledgeable. He seemed very devoted to practicing family law and was able to identify and explain the legal issues and general concepts of my case to me. And he kept in regular contact with me, keeping me informed of all goings-on in my case. I just wanted him to know that his legal services were greatly appreciated and it was a pleasure working with him.

I went in with high hopes having read other reviews concerning this firm. My initial consultation went well and I felt confident that my interests would be represented well. Sadly this is where my approval ends. I have a rather simple divorce no assets just a matter of child custody arrangements. I was the respondent to the divorce petition and had to file a response. This was done and cost me over 2000.00. I was shocked. Other attorneys quoted me that price for my entire divorce. I was charged in multiple for everything. A phone call, email, and letter all saying the same thing. Charged for each one. I showed my invoice to other attorneys and they were in shock at how much had been charged. Perhaps for those with unlimited funds to put towards a divorce, this is the right law firm. But if you are on a budget consider them carefully. Perhaps mine is the outlier of good service. I hope so, but as for my personal experience I cannot recommend them

Michael Roby is the worst. Went in for the initial consultation. He concluded i was going to need $2200 for the retainer. My court date was approaching soon but he said he just needed the retainer 5 days before hand to get started. Came up with the money and went in. When i sat down to get signed up he informed me that i was also going to need an additional $5000 in case they went to trial! At no time during the initial consultation did he mention that. I basically wasted my time by not looking for an attorney I could afford and allowed him to screw me over. Michael Roby is a joke and should be disbarred.
