My sister recently got fired from her job for discrimination. I recommended her to call the Tully Rinckey law firm because I know the good work they do (they helped me with my divorce). We spoke to the attorney about my sisters work situation and as it turns out her employer was discriminating against her in more than one way. My sister worked at a beauty salon doing the cleaning between clients and preparing the each stylist’s station, however since she has a learning disability that makes her forget certain things she needs to do sometimes. Although the stylists understood my sisters’ condition and helped her remember her duties, the owner did not. The owner showed no patience when she forgot to switch the towels from the washer to the dryer or take out the trash, all it took was a reminder to take out the trash, but instead she insulted her calling her names to make her feel dumb and saying racial comments. Several times my sister came home crying because she felt depressed and self-conscious about her capabilities to work. This is when I convinced her it was time to hire a lawyer to assist her in employment legal matter. Now my sister is happy and working in a new job that understands her disability and accommodates her so that she can keep up with all her responsibilities. My family and I are very grateful with the lawyer for his great help with my sisters’ discrimination case.
