I installed the Attic Foil around mid-February when the weather was a lot cooler here in Tampa. The roof I have wasn’t the most fun to work with. It’s Pyramid shaped and the East/West sides were a pain in the butt to work with due to the stair stepping of the studs. When I tried to use a 4’x10’ strip it proved very difficult to work with by myself. If I ever do this again I will work with a helper or pay someone. I ended up cutting the foil into 4x4 squares which made it a lot easier to work with. An electric staple gun is a must. Other than the positing of the studs the installation wasn’t difficult. We are now in record breaking heat for this time of the year. Today’s high was 98 degrees so I mounted a couple of thermometers in the attic to get an idea of the temperatures above and below the foil. It is a little hard to see but the one above the foil is reading >130 degrees and the one below is at 104. It’s hard to tell the true temperature above the foil because the thermometer tops out at 120 degrees. I will highly recommend this product to anyone. We are seeing a reduction on our electric bill but will not know the full savings until we have a few months to compare it to. Thank you for a great product!!!

Ive spent a lot of time researching radiant barriers before buying AtticFoil. It is very cost effective compared to anything at major retail stores. Installation wasnt the funnest thing in the world, and I have only done the southern half of my roof. Example so far... a 105*F day would get the roof of my attic temp up to 128*F. Inside the house would reach 92*F. With the AtticFoil (again, just the south side so far) the inside of the attic would reach 113*F (15*F difference) and inside the house a much more comfortable 85*F inside. I have no air conditioning. This was a smart purchase! Do it! I do not want $300 monthly electric bills like my neighbors. Im very comfortable with a $20 electric bill and 85*F inside. Im sure I will be even happier when I install Attic Foil on the north side of my attic. Thank you AtticFoil! Great customer service answering ALL of my questions on their Youtube videos. My inspector made me remove it all even though we followed the instructions on the company videos (with the foam spacers). He said that it would void the roof shingles warranty. He went on to say that the foil could be used without voiding the shingles warranty if the foil is applied directly to the underside of the decking sheets under the shingles. So, I wasted money on the foil and money on the labor to put it up and money on the labor to take it down. I am very disappointed and very broke.

Purchased Attic foil double sided 4 ft wide, radiant barrier to line the walls and gables of my 10 x 12 shed. I am using the pre-installed 7/16 in x 4 ft x 8 ft radiant barrier decking for the roof. Its a very tough sheet of material. I was able to stretch all the wrinkles out and install it to my LP Smartside paneling before installing the paneling on my walls using staples. It worked great!

Attic foil works exactly as had been described. The product arrived in excellent condition and in a timely manner. My metal building which is not insulated and not heated was previously too hot to work in after midday. Product was just as promised, strong and simple install (not easy with my low pitch roof and all the tight spaces, but simple). Will be some time to see about its effectiveness but at this cost, it should be a quick ROI even with a small return in energy savings/month. Seriously, you can not tear this product and it will flatten out not matter how much you wrinkle or bend it.

Great product, great customer service! Product is extremely durable, does not tear easily, but cuts easily. I bought one too many rolls though. Return policy was exactly as described and unused roll was immediately accepted and refunded next day. I have yet to see how it will be tested in brutal heat since I just installed it this winter, but the research holds up.
