I have an account with this bank. I ordered checks and was re-directed to Harland Clarke an affiliate of USAA. The checks were free, however there were shipping costs of $4.00, no where did they mention how to pay for this charge. There were more than enough funds available to cover this fee the day of the order so I assumed the fee would be deducted from my account. Harland Clarke waited until there were insufficient fees to run the transaction. They send a spam email indicating in fine print that they will deduct within 14 days. USAA allowed thier affiliate Harland Clarke to continuously run transactions on my account (3) to be exact all in the same week with a result of $90.00 in overdraft fees. USAA was so kind as to reimburse me for one as a courtesy... This is horrible service, USAA should not allow thier own affiliate to run multiple transactions on your account in a one week period... Absolutely ridiculous!

Bank needs to explain deposit processing guidelines as well as debit vs. ach batch timing. I paid a credit card off on 10/31 before 11 am. I then paid a car note on 11/01 after 2 pm. The credit card payment was returned with no evidence of deficiency. Yet customer service said because I made the car note on 11/01 it made the account insufficient?? The drivel that is being espoused is beyond logical reasoning. My belief is they hold onto your money a little longer so they can write more loans. Incredibly disappointed with this bank...my husband is 100% disabled Vietnam veteran & he deserves much better than this "vague" & "random" service.

I hate to get all representatives are busy pleased hold WHAT IS YOUR PIN what is your password--- I hate these type phone call--- I cancelled my insurance and cut up the credit cards--- I want a real human being in case I ever need to use my insurance--- the garbage about deposit amount into bank from my bank to add my banking to pay insurance--- just to much !!! After creating account and credit card my email is full of junk--- Run from this over rated place!!!!!

I had been with USAA for 24 years. They had once been great to deal with, but as they grew the great customer service dwindled. Unfortunately, a nightmarish mortgage experience, banking issues--including an episode where they "lost" almost $1000--and other transgressions have caused me to lose trust in USAA to the point that I felt it was time to sever my relationship with them.

Honestly one of the best disorganized drive-thrus for any financial instituion ever. They dont confirm the transaction nor let the customer whats going on when they take time. Always take a good 20 minutes to make a simple deposit, even when there is no cars waiting. For one of the biggest company of America, I expected more. Try again, guys.

Customer service is unbeatable when is comes to USAA. The staff is always beyond friendly and incredibly helpful with any questions you have. I honestly love having them as a bank and will never swap to another bank because of how amazing the service is. This place deserves more than 5 stars in my book.

I have a big check to deposit and was told because it is over 10g , I have to mail it in and not use mobile deposit on my phone. No exceptions to the policy even though I have been with them for years. Time to find a different bank if this is their policy

Horrible! I sent a money order to be deposited into a checking account and they never credited the account!!! Two months later still hasent been resolved!!! Very unreliable bank that caused me and the recipient a lot of problems!

The Reps are amazing, DO NOT EVER APPLY FOR A LOAN HERE unless you are GOD. I have a good credit score and make money and have paid everything on time yet for a personal loan I was denied. NEVER GETTING A LOAN WITH THEM AGAIN
