It is totally unacceptable to have to wait 35+ minutes on the phone for a customer service representative that will barely do you any good but will at least assist you with your financial needs. This is exactly what happened to me. I have called NECU many times before in regards to my financial needs, and they did just fine. Eventually, their customer "service" line cut me off and hung up on me. Instead of requesting me to call NECU because of an issue on their side, they should leave instructions on the website so that I can actually learn how to resolve the error I was having. I recommend against even trying to call customer service, and it has changed the way I think about NECU.

Bad customer service. I waited on the phone 4 different occasions for a representative for a very long time, was given the wrong fax number and all Nicole could say is that she was sorry. Nicole gave me the correct fax number and I faxed over needed document and she did not inform me that she was about to leave for the day. I waited next to the fax machine for the documents that she was going to fax over to me and nothing happened. I ended up calling back for the 5th time and holding on phone once AGAIN for EVER. Tammy ended up answering the phone and stated that she will be mailing per my request. Dealing w/this credit union is not a fun easy task.

I have been using this Credit Union for many years, and have never had an issue which could not be easily resolved by walking in & speaking with someone.

The call center has a 24/7 number that you cant call on Sundays as their closed.... let that sink in about this banks operations.
