I started my journey with this company on 3/20/2016 now here it is September and still no kind of results big promises and a lot of demands for paper work that I submitted to 2 of the people that was saying they was trying to help me get a usda loan one was Chris Brown and the other was Lynne Kearis. With Chris Brown he was a loan Auditor where he said he is a loan closer let me tell u what he did for me and my family he asked for all the same paper work that Lynne did and even got me to give my land lord a letter saying we would be moved by the end of June only to be disappointed again by us being homeless and looking for somewhere to live in have saved all my emails from Both of them to prove that he made promises and told me I would be in my new house by July 1st 2016 I had to rent another place witch my rent went up I had to pay a new deposit and 1st months rent and I lost my deposit because of Chris Brown I broke my lease. With Lynne Kearis is believed that she was really trying unlike Chris when she hit a road block she at least replied to my emails and answered the phone Chris wouldn’t even do that I paid for a appraisal of the property that I don’t have that was 600 dollars that is gone and I paid to have water tested in the well that was there 100 gone I won’t get that back so if u get these 2 to start helping u beware they will drag u along like they are helping but they do nothing for you but cost you a lot of money for something they will never get for you so if you get them good luck and I hope you have more luck than I did with them. And I would say if you have anything wrong with your credit past they will drag u along and at the end of 50 excuses they will give u one that they just can’t help so beware.
After dealing with this company for three months, my husband and I closed on our home on May 3rd, 2016. I did not find the staff, especially Beth Carlin, to be very helpful and definitely did not go out of their way to make this process easier. The only occurrence that the staff was diligent about getting back to us was after I posted a negative review on Google. Most days, it took a dozen phone calls for anyone to respond to us. Our closing date changed six times during the entire process, and the amount to close also fluctuated so many times, that we ended up having to come up with $2,000 more dollars a week before closing. Although, this company did end up pulling it together and we ended up closing, I would still not recommend this company to anyone I know. I realize purchasing a home can be a daunting task, but this company made the process harder than it needed to be. The only positive thing I can say about this company is one member of its staff, Jon Harnish. He tried his hardest to get our loan through and attempted to keep us updated, but once we were transferred into the hands of Ms. Carlin, the process went downhill, quickly.
My boyfriend and I recently closed on our new home with CREFCO! We couldn’t be more happy with the transaction! We are first time buyers, and Jonathan Harnish was great about walking us through the process and answered all of our many questions about how to achieve our dream home. Lars Ericsson, our setup officer, helped us out with all of the paperwork and made sure everything was in line (and signed in all the right spots!) to get to the underwriter. Jeff St. Hilaire coordinated directly with the title company, our homeowner’s insurance, and the underwriter to package our file up and get the underwriter to sign off on everything, and was always available to help guide us towards our closing! And finally I have to say that Milla Muyovwe was absolutely amazing at preparing all of our closing paperwork and keeping us abreast of everything that was happening before and at the closing table. She helped keep us calm and fully prepared for the high stress of our closing day… Overall this team has been amazing to work with and I highly recommend them to everyone!
I am a first time home buyer, and due to life getting in the way thought I would never be able to own my own home. I looked into several options, due to not being able to do a conventional down payment. I came accross the USDA pogram of no money down. Through the contact and simple documentation verification they were able to help me out. They even put me in touch with a local realtor that knoew the ins and outs of the program to help me find a home. The process may be a little longer since it is no money down, but in the end you get great service, a great valued home, and an afffordable mortgage. I would recommend this to anyone that has the money to pay a mortgage just not do it the conventional way. I would like to thank my team in helping get to close, Beth Carlin and David Naimey
From the time I was contacted for prequalification to the very last paper I signed at the closing table my experience with Crefco was absolutely wonderful. Taylor Franzi was a joy to work with and was always very helpful. Taylor always kept me updated throughout the mortgage process and explained everything in a way that made the process so much less stressful. She was always there for me when I had questions and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend Taylor Franzi and Consumer Real Estate Finance Company to anyone looking to obtain a mortgage. I am truly appreciative for everything Taylor and her team has done for me throughout my journey to become a homeowner.
My Loan Officer Brandyn Chretien has been excellent!!!! I have been dealing with Well Fargo, by the way the most horrible experience I have ever faced my husband and I. Consumer Real Estate Finance Co, Kept contacting me to do business with them, so I prayed about, and indeed Brandyn Chretien was a heaven sent! He has explained things to us so that my husband and I can understand the process, and has been patient with me as I feel like we are walking on egg shells... Thank you so much Brandyn you are so kind and courteous. I will continue to use your company for all our home needs in the future... Thank you sooooo much again!! Terri and Giovanny Soto
I highly recommend Ben Creisher , Jeff St. Hilaire and Lindsay Monzon at Consumer Real Estate Finance Co. They were amazing at communicating with you throughout the complete loan process. My husband and I are self-employed so the process required more attention to detail and more paperwork. Ben and Jeff were simply awesome. Both of them always returned our emails or phone calls within an hour or two. Our rates were great, paperwork was a breeze. It was great being able to do the majority of the paperwork electronically. I will be recommending this company and their employees to everyone. If you want the best, call Ben or Jeff at CREFCO.
A huge thank you to the entire staff at Consumer Real Estate Finance Company but a very special thank you to my Loan officer Jack Graves and Kristie Gross my loan auditor, and my closing coordinator Caitlin Stanhope for my first ever home purchase. I can no believe that i just turned 24 and just closed on a home. The entire process was lengthy and very trying but these guys carried me through. Especially Jack he never let me give up! I owe them the biggest thank you!! If you are looking into getting a home loan give this company your business. They truly care, and they want you to succeed in getting a loan for your dream home!
I greatly appreciate CREFCO for helping me to attain a mortgage for my home; there are a group of great people there. I give a shout out particularly to John Harnish and Chris Brown. Great people to work with, continued to work until all was done and finished. Nevertheless, my constructive criticism is that CREFCO can be a bit faster in the loan process. I think it took a bit longer than it had to; I hope this is taken to heart and learned from. I really want them to succeed more in what they do because they really are great people. All in all I recommend CREFCO for anyone looking to get a loan.
Do not EVER get involved with an on-line lender. Especially this one. You are setting yourself up for nothing but disappointment and stress. It has been 12 weeks since we started this loan application, and after all this time we STILL HAVE NOT CLOSED! Ironically, every time they have a deadline to meet, that THEY have set, some sort of disaster happens to their equipment, (power outage, computer crash, cell phone dies, etc., etc.,) causing no communication. When they do return calls and e-mails, they are so full of lies it is infuriating! Save yourself the trouble...go to a local lender.
WORST experience in my entire life. Took 4+ months to get RD to approve, which they did, after I had to jump through so many hoops, but lender wants then revisit water test, then run my credit for the _th time, looking for a way to prevent the sale. Seller had enough so I lost about $5,000 altogether with earnest money, appraisal, inspection, structural engineer, and a lot of time wasted. Crefco is the SLOWEST company you will ever come across. They farm out their underwriting and each hurdle takes at least a week to clear every time they ask for something. USE A LOCAL LENDER, TRUST ME!!!!!
I thought home ownership was not going to be possible for me let alone the home of my dreams but along came CREFCO-the answer to my prayers because I never leave the Lord out of the equation! They made everything easy, despite some unique challenges I had, they were always accessible, supportive and informative. They guided me through the process to the finish line and I felt like Secretariat when I got there because without them the home that I wanted would have only been a dream, now it is REAL, and the closing date is right around the corner, thank you CREFCO especially Jeff and Kyle!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. AS FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS WE DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. NOW 4 MONTHS INTO THE LOAN PROCESS WE ARE FINALLY SUPPOSED TO CLOSE TODAY AND ONCE AGAIN WE ARE BEING TOLD IT PROABABLY WONT HAPPEN....AGAIN. TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE INVOVLED IN THE PROCESS AND NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING!! THE "OWNER" WOULD NOT RETURN MY CALLS AND PRETTY MUCH BLAMED US FOR THE REASON IT TOOK SO LONG. EVERYTHING THEY ASKED FOR (WHICH WAS ON A DAILY BASIS) WE HAD TO THEM IN LESS THAN 24 HRS. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...I MADE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS TO THE COMPANY AND NOTHING WAS EVER DONE.

I recently applied for a USDA mortgage from Consumer Real Estate Finance Co. Cody James is my mortgage consultant . Cody was there for me to guide me through all the steps involved in applying for a USDA mortgage . He made the whole process run smoothly and even checked with me daily to ask if I had any questions. All the other associates in the company were very helpful . Cody James and all the others have gone way above my expectations and have made this a pleasurable experience. I highly recommend Cody James and Consumer Real Estate Finance Co. for all your Mortgage needs.
I origionally signed up for a USDA loan. I later on found a home I fell in love with. The home I wanted was not in a USDA approved area. I asked Taylor Franzi (my lender) if there was any way I could switch the loan to an FHA so that I could buy the home. She said yes and switched it right then and there. Gave me new numbers and info the next day. She helped me take care of everything in a timely manner and was very personable. I would gladly use Consumer Real Estate Finance in the future and I recomend them to anyone who wants to get things done quickly!
I have a awesome experience to Crefco team, especially to David Joseph Naimey, Mark Jonathan Metcalf, Dan Poskocil , You guys are awesome..every step on my application whatever I need it, you guys are there for me, Thank you is not enough to say, But I do appreciate what you guys doin on my application. You guys never give up and u guys always give me a strenght and motivation to accomplish for purchasing a home.. I could not do this without you guys helps.. Thank you for your Excellent Service and More Power to all of you and Crefco Team..
In the top 3 (I should say bottom 3) of my worse experience in my 13 years in real estate. They referred a buyer to another agent and they went under contract on one of my listings. Never did they advise the buyer or her agent that she had a "complex file" We close 6 weeks late and got a lot of run around. Also, they do not move quickly, once one thing was approved, it would take days for the next department to do their part. Giving zero stars was not an option or I would have.
