I am a RE agent that has just recently come to know Ridge Valley. In this short time I have given your company two referrals through a Rep whom I have known and respected for many years. My review is based on how I was treated 10 mins ago by Nancy who answered the phone. I have a client who had a roof (my first referral to Ridge Valley) installed 12 days ago. From the beginning she was not pleased with the lack of communication and deadlines not being met for the installation. However, through my urging I encouraged her to stay with Ridge Valley, she had already received a different estimate to have it done through another roofing company. The roof was installed and beginning that day, she had concerns about a couple of areas that looked like the shingles were not installed properly. She was told that with a few days of heat from the sun on it, the shingles would all lie down flat including the ones around the skylights. This did not happen. She has been trying to get this issue resolved prior to her moving out of state. Today I made a call to your office in hopes that perhaps I could expedite an inspection of the shingles in question on behalf of my client. I was told that the office had been notified by my client who also called earlier today that the inspection and any necessary repairs would be done next Tuesday, the 2nd of August, 4 days after our closing. This was unacceptable to me because we will have a final walk through for this house on Friday by the buyers before the closing. The roof and the installation of it being completed before closing was a major request by the buyers. Therefore not having the roof resolved prior to the walk through could cause my client and the buyers a great deal of concern. I tried to explain this to Nancy and because she just heard of this today, her response to me was and I will quote "you expect us to drop everything and go out and do this inspection, we cannot do that." I reminded her that I am a RE agent and seek vendors who appreciate and value my referrals and with this lack of customer service, I might have to rethink referring Ridge Valley. She took that to be a threat. It was in no way a threat, it was just being honest about how I felt about her response to me and seemingly lack of concern for the situation and the need to correct it before the closing.

I am happy to write a new review for Ridge Valley Exteriors. I want to thank the owner for contacting me, by phone, so quickly after my first experience and review to rectify my experience and to encourage me to give them another try. Rarely have I ever had an owner of a company respond so quickly and care so much about me as a customer. Based on our conversation that day, I did give them another try and it was on my personal home. My roof needed replacing. This experience was excellent, things were delivered when scheduled, the work was done and completed on schedule and the clean up and condition they left my property in was outstanding. I would highly recommend them to any of my RE clients that need a roof replacement. Mistakes can happen and I do believe in giving a company a second chance in most cases and in this one I am glad I did.

I recently had a replacement roof installed by Ridge Valley Exteriors. This initial inspection was done by Joe Pierron. Joe inspected the roof and then issued me a full report. This did indicate some storm damage and my insurance company agreed. Joe then worked with us to select the replacement shingles, schedule the work answer any questions that i had. The crew turned up exactly on the indicated time and worked hard through a hot day to complete the job. Joe visited several times through the installation to see if I was happy and answer my questions or concerns. The job was complete and ther oof looks great to me. The clean-up was thorough. The only issue i had was a broken pathway light (probably had something fall on it) and Joe replaced this for me. i would recommend this company (and Joe) for your roofing needs.

Our roof replacement project was handled by Kurtis Cagle of Ridge Valley Exteriors, Inc. in Woodstock. This company coordinated with our insurance company, provided excellent product information with a number of choices, scheduled the workers, and completed the entire project in one day! The workers were incredibly efficient, showed up early and stayed late, set up the flow of work and cleaned up the mess; moreover, they gave our home a beautiful new roof that will protect our home for years to come! Kurtis was good to follow up and make sure all the work was satisfactory and complete. High quality, guaranteed shingles at a competitive price and reliable workmanship, installation, and follow-up - what more could a consumer ask?

The experience was professional and painless from beginning to end. Matt climbed up on the roof with a gopro and came down to give us a detailed video presentation of the damage on the roof. When it came to the estimate, he never pressured us and presented several options to us. We were informed every step of the way. The crew was quick, knocked out the roof in one day, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The roof is beautiful (upgraded to the nicer shingles for the longer warranty). This may sound boring, but there were no surprises. It all went exactly as described to us. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Ridge Valley Exteriors to others.

From our first interaction with the sales associate, the installation team and the follow up interview, everyone I came in contact with were polite and knowledgable. They told me i would have to pay over $3,000 to get a good shingle on my roof BEFORE i even filed the claim or knew what the insurance would pay? I talked to a friend who is a roofing contractor out west and he also sells Owen Corning. He disclosed that the price difference between the upgraded shingles and felt was only $300. Im dissappointed, a 1000% mark-up?

Miserable experience. I would NOT recommend using Ridge Valley. Issues throughout the entire process, lack of follow up with no response to calls or emails. They installed skylights with HUGE stickers stuck in the middle of them, after they ordered the wrong size skylights to start. Nightmare. Save yourself the headaches and work with another roofing company!

I would not let them in my neighborhood one more time. They will go to any extent before you sing the contract to get business. I had broken windows, leaking roof and unsettled shingles which they did not fix and started demanding payment before everything was fixed.
