In the beginning, they had deleted my application and acceptance (and I was not the only one, my Broker said she had multiple clients with the same issue), so after a month of not receiving my insurance card after my effective date, my Broker was finally able to reach someone. They said I needed to send in an appeal letter and ask to be re-instated. I did so, and their response was that they would allow me to gain coverage again, but only if I back-paid the 2 months (by this time...it was well into February) premiums that I was not covered for, nor did I receive or utilize any medical treatment. This was my only option with the enrollment period having ended, so I paid the $480 for the time I was NOT covered because of their mistake. In addition to this, I had to pay out of pocket for my monthly medication, which was a total of $260 each month. So, because of their mistake, I ended up paying $1,000 in my necessary meds, and to get reinstated. In the past year of coverage, I have not been able to log on to my account online to make a payment one time, and their troubleshoot and tech help tools could not fix this. Every time I call, they have told me that I "do not exist" in their system, and have passed me around to multiple people to try and find my account. Finally, after about 15 minutes each time of them scrambling to pull my account up, I was always transferred to a different department for my question, which was the wrong department, EVERY TIME, and then transferred at least one more time until I was finally speaking to someone who could help. They fought to not pay my medication, and there were no brands that they would cover, so I ended up paying another two months out of pocket for my necessary meds before they finally approved to cover one brand. I was also seeing a Counselor every other week, and I was told my out of pocket was $1,000 before they started covering half of my payments for each session. When I called back at my $1,000 mark, I was told it was actually $1,500 deductible. I reached that, and sent in my form fully filled out and signed by my Counselor to start getting 50% reimbursement. That was in May. It is now January of 2016, and I have yet to receive the check that is "in the mail" for my reimbursement, which is now over $800. To be fair, all of the customer service reps I have spoken with were kind. I have no qualms with the people, just a HUGE problem with the product itself. The amount of money I have spent out of pocket, on TOP of the high premiums each month, is just exorbitant. For a single-income household, and on the low side of the medium income range, this was an absolute sham. And a huge headache. And, for some reason, although I told them I would not be renewing my insurance with them once it was up, they STILL sent me a new bill for a new policy. Which is $75 higher than the same policy last year. I can not recommend this company for any reason, to any person. I would have been better off without insurance, and monitoring my spending priorities by myself. Please look elsewhere. The fact that this company is still in business is almost criminal.

While they did pay things on time their customer service reps are TERRIBLE. They reimbursed me for overpayment from my kids. When I would get my bill it was 0 for four months. I called to double check and each time they said there was no balance. Then i got a bill five months later that said I owed 1100$. When I called and talked to a supervisor he said there was no record of any of the calls I made even though I had date, time and representative i talked too. I also had overpayment twice because something happened with their system. I called to get a refund cause i had other bills to pay. Each time they said that they would reimburse within 7-10 business days. I called 3-4 times on that one. I never got the refund it just went towards the next months bill and i just had to figure out my other bills. TERRIBLE, i cancelled as soon as my husband got insurance through work.

Awful, awful, awful. We are six months in and have not received any reimbursement on a basic procedure that is clearly covered by our policy. We have spent hours on the phone with representatives and they have lost, misplaced, closed out and simply not processed our claim. Now they are saying we need to resubmit all of the paperwork because it was accidentally thrown away. Quite possibly the single worst experience we have encountered with any business, agency, organization, etc. The service and attentiveness of the DMV puts this place to shame. Avoid at all costs!

The worst company I have ever delt with my entire life. They do not pay for things that they are suppose to, it took us 4 months of excuse after excuse to finally get them to pay and when they did it was not the amount they were suppose to pay. Their customer service is ridiculous! Every employee tells you something different. After making complaints and writing a review to On their Facebook page, that page was then deleted. We got rid of this company the minute we could and we have told everyone we know to stay away from them!!

Horrible horrible company. After being notified to cancel my insurance effective April 30th, 2015 well in advance - they refused to cancel my policy and kept trying to charge me for premiums AND I assume kept collecting money from the State of Idaho for premiums for me under the Affordable Care Act.

I had to ask the director of the company to calm down. She was quick to anger, unwilling to help, and frustrated by my call. Buyer beware, you are only a number and a paycheck to this company.

Pedro Rojas at the Eagle location is awesome! He hooked us up with a insurance broker and helped us with numbers to call to get our tax credit and application in order! Thank you so much!! :)

Our family has had a great experience this past year using Mtn. Health. We have had several major surgeries pop up, and have had NO problems with coverage, or payment.

Their customer service representatives are not knowledgable, rude, and wasted my time. I consider myself lucky to no longer have a plan through them.

Denied coverage twice for a Tier 1 service provider for xrays. AVOID. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.
