Last March I was charged with a horrible DWI, hit and run, careless and wreckless, and a carrying a concealed weapon charge. I had never been in trouble like this before which meant that I had no idea who I would hire to be my lawyer. I decided to trust all the internet research I did and called Mark Jetton. I was shocked to get a call back a few hours later on a Saturday night from Mark, telling me that he would come in on the next day (Sunday) to meet with me and go over my case. Being as upset and embarrassed as I was after being arrested, Mark assured me that I was going to be alright and that he was going to help me either fight the case or get the charges reduced as much as he could. After meeting with Mark, I realized why he was one of the best reviewed DWI and criminal lawyers in the country. Mark showed me that he not only took his job extremely seriously but also that he cared about me as a person and not just a client. I requested the court date keep getting pushed back and Mark was able to work the system and get my case extended as long as he possibly could which was around 8 months. I went into the last court date expecting to have the book thrown at me but I was shocked to find out that Mark had worked out a Plea deal where the DWI, Hit and Run, and Careless and Wreckless charges would be thrown out if I plead guilty to the carrying a concealed weapon. I almost started crying tears of joy when I heard that. All I had to do was take the CCW certification course on a Saturday later on that month and give the paperwork to Mark who took care of the rest. I am so thankful to have hired Mark as my lawyer and he is the only one I will ever recommend in the future!

The experience that I had with Jetton & Meredith is unlike one that I have ever had when dealing with any law or traffic issues. Mark Jetton, whom is not just extremely personable, has all the certifications and qualifications that hold him in high regard in the Charlotte community. Mr. Jetton, as well as the entire law office, gives you a sense of relief and firm belief that when you leave their office that they will stop at nothing to make sure that you are represented to the up most fullest and to the very best of their ability. Throughout the litigation process, Mr. Jetton was thorough in his findings and his discovery of the factual information to the case. Even as the case was continued more I had anticipated, Mr. Jetton made sure that we were always on the same page and that reassured me that we would get the best outcome possible. And that is when my expectations were blown out of the water and i was left at a loss of words which does not happen often. Upon the date of my last court date, Mr. Jetton suggested that the case be taken to trial and heard by the judge. Without hesitation Mr. Jetton, with his keen knowledge of case law, presented a flawless defense to judge and was able to get his motion for dismissal granted. I NEVER even thought that this would have been possible due the severity of the case. I will continue to use Jetton & Meredith (hopefully not too much) and will stop at nothing to refer anyone or anything that needs the absolute best representation in Charlotte and surrounding areas.

From the minute I called the office I was overwhelmed with how helpful the entire staff was to me. Do not consider him for any family law, custody issues, or any thing that is time sensitive. I gave Mr. Meredeth a $5000 retainer in September of 16 to handle a modification of custody motion, did not hear from him for 3 months except for a bill showing that $1500.00 was deducted from my account. In December I decided to go to the court house and see if he had filed a motion for modification to the custody agreement, to my suprise he had done nothing, not one filing. I contacted him and he said he was getting around to it, he had papers to review, he was full of crap and was draining the retainer. On December 22, 4 months later he finally filed a motion, it was denied on dec 31st, that week he said he was going to file a contempt order due to visitaion issues, I said ok. At the end of January the 29th, I still had not heard anything so I contacted him and asked if he ever filed the contempt motion, the answer was no. He was busy in court but he could get to it if i gave him a chance, I fired him on the spot. despicable person. I asked for my money back and got $1900.00 back, so $3100 for 1 filing and some emails from me asking what was going on. Stay away from this sham. David

After the mother of my child took off with another man and left me with nothing, I spent years begging, pleading and attempting to work things out personally with the mother, to no avail. After being referred to Jetton & Meredith and accepting them to take my case, within a short year they went above and beyond to make me feel like family, that I was important and not just a client, and remained professional and informative throughout the proceedings. Within a short year (after 5 years of my daughter being taken away by her mother), I won joint custody of my child.
