My wife was backing out of a parking stall and was shifting into Drive (brake must be applied and therefor our car was NOT moving), another driver backed out and struck the rear bumper causing approximately $884 of damages. We filed a claim to have the damage repaired. Both parties are insured through Geico. In the past Geico has been great to work with, but now that it is Geico vs. Geico, we are having an entirely different customer experience. My complaint is that Geico is NOT being impartial, but is seeking to find both parties liable to some extent to avoid having to pay the claim. When a claim was filed (both parties are insured under Geico), Geico went out of their way to try and cast doubt on both parties claims to remove responsibilities and and not pay the claim as advertised. We supply all the requested documentation (pictures, measurements, visual inspections), only to be told that we will still be found for 1% or greater liability and therefor would be found "at fault". They have stated that it is one parties word against the other, but the preponderance of the evidence clearly shows we have no liability in the accident.

Would you please answer your phone once in a while? It is ridiculous that it rings twice and gets sent to an answering machine. Maybe hire more than one person to answer calls and then maybe you could handle more than a single digit call volume. Thanks
