This company is rubbish and freeway Insure when listed insuranse freeway do not put your complete data and then start sending missing and you increase arguing that they are changes. And make changes without telling you cancel policies if the reabres the deductible are more than 2000 dollars. Please do not use it, and watch the freeway broker that guide you to that insurance. They wash their hands afterwards.

If I could give less I would, two years after I found a better deal after getting man handled on the regular. Dealing with their absolutely horrible online system and phone.. I find a 90$ collection account from good old Stonewood on my credit.. I called and talked to some b!?$&, who said it was for the other half of some payment that I made partially which is bs, I mean who makes a partial insurance payment?? You either are covered for the month or not.. Please save yourself the trouble. Pay a little more for a better provider that would be less prone to get the savings your making now added two years after your coverage ends!!!! The WORST!!!!

0 STARS. SHADEY, PITIFUL, HORRIBLE, ETC....... I canceled this insurance at the end of July. They still took money out of my account. Took 1 1/2 month to refund me. Then just yesterday, December 19th I receive a bill from a collection company for $47. Called them and they said that is a usual practice of Stonewood. Then on top of that there was a $5 late fee. They could have kept it when they had it. Merry CHRISTmas Everybody!!!! :)

Referred by Cost U Less, the most horrific service I have ever received. Roadside service is in another state w/3 hour difference and closes at 5 p.m. It was 2pm PST after I had been routed 3 different times. I was told to pay for the roadside service and the company would reimburse me. This is the second time they have been very unprofessional or lack of proper customer service. 3 strikes your out.

Stonewood Insurance company is the worse. They do not answer their phone calls at. Someone needs to contact the Insurance Commissioner on this company. I am on the phone with them now as of June 3, 2016 requested for Teresa with Stonewood Insurance Company that I have dropped them. I would advise anyone not to deal with this Stonewood Insurance Company. I think they are running a scam.

I got into an accident , paid my fees and charges.cancelled my insurance policy , now i have to pag a cancellation fee. Heres the catch though. when a policy is cancelled you have to "mail " a money order or check to some random ass address in LA !!! Theres like no way Stonewood will take a payment. So you ultimately have to go to collections!! This company is a trap!

Never missed a payment and before my payment was due got a letter from the dmv stating that my registration will be suspended until i provid proof of insurance and pay a $14 reinstatement fee... no sr22 so one why did they report to the dmv in the first place and two why are they telling the dmv I dont have insurance before my bill has even been sent out.

These people will nickel and dime you I paid the usual starting up fee and then paid my monthly on April 4th then paid another on April 30th and out of no where have a late payment in my account showing for April 14th 3 payments within a month when they told me they were month to month. customer service was a joke whenever talking to them.

I missed one payment due too a technical issue on their end. I was then rear ended on the freeway. I found out that if you miss 1 payment your deductible goes from $1,000 too $3,000! I tried to reason with the customer service representative and as usual Stonewood Insurance response there is nothing we can do.

Stay far away from this company. I was fortunate to enough to never have to submit a claim but all they want to do is collect your money, not provide any discounts for renewing (without any incidents) and their customer service is GOD AWEFUL !! I saved 30% on my car insurance by switching to Geico, no lie.

Horrible Company - We canceled our policy and they continued to ach payments monthly since Feb. I spoke with CS that stated I would receive a refund by April7th at the latest only to find no check and they have again taken a payment without consent. The company is a joke and a scam !!!

The worst nickel and dime operation ever. Cost U Less insurance is a lie,was with them for one year and decided to call Allstate,saved %35 and doubled my coverage with a lower deductible. Do not waste your money or time with these guys. Call around and save money and a headache.
