My experience wiith RocklandI Insurance Agency has been a nightmare ....My name is Jesse Broussard , I originally used the Harry Pond Insurance Agency since 1999, but they sold or changed names to Rockland a few years back and thats when the piss poor customer service and the overly expensive insurance rates started, As my agent I thought they would shop the best rates for me , they shopped they most expensive rates for themselves ...they get commission .....simply meaning they more money i am charged they more money they make....We are a family of four,my wife.myself . and 2 sons aged 22 and 20 ..They gave us Progressive Insurance we payed approximately $ 1.025 for that over priced Insurance.. when questioned they stated that because of a couple incidents , 5000 payoff loss on a old Toyota truck , and a 1000 pay on a fender bender my youngest son had...and that the insurance was based on the highest risk driver..Our rates we so high.... my oldest moved out and got his own policy through GEICO saving him 1000 a year... Well we now payed nearly $$700 a month ..My truck was vandalized and Progressive totalled it ..i was very unhappy with the payoff...still i do not blame Rockland .. so we took off the truck since i no longer owned it , leaving only a 2005 Pontiac , and a new 2015 Malibu..they now charged nearly $ 700 a month ...we found this out when checking our bank statement since it was direct withdrawal ... NOW THIS IS WHEN ROCKLAND SHOWED THEIR TRUE COLORS... MY WIFE WAS UPSET AND OUTRAGED AND CALLED ROCKLAND ...THE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE LADY .... HAD AUDIBLE SIGHS ON THE PHONE .... like she was so put out and told my wife that my wife had an attitude ...MY WIFE HAD A RIGHT TO HAVE AN ATTITUDE !!!!!!! YOU WORK FOR ME ROCKLAND ...the tail does not wag the dog ....we asked them on that Thursday to please shop better rates ....they said they would , and would call us back in the morning... OF COURSE THEY DID NOT... WE CALLED MONDAY AND WERE PUT OFF AGAIN AND WERE TOLD SOMEONE WOULD CALL US BACK We took matters our own hands Tracy my wife called GEICO guess what ? we saved $3900 dollars a year for better insurance with higher pip rates ... ROCKLAND could have shopped that for us but i guess the commission would not be so lucrative on their behalf Please so not use this Agency...unless you want to be overcharged and have a customer service agent act like they are doing you a favor by dealing with them

The home buying process is always a stressful one, and hunting insurance is typically not on my list of most favorite things to do either. HOWEVER, my experience with ROCKLAND was OUTSTANDING!!! I dealt with Joel Pond and Leslie Narramore and both were truly INCREDIBLE!! Not only did they beat out every other company that I called by a long shot, but they handled everything with my mortgage broker directly and kept me looped in every step of the way! What an truly REMARKABLE experience and I assure you that I will always use them for my insurance needs....you should too!! #RocklandRocks
