Horrible. As part of my work I deal with numerous insurance companies on a daily basis, American Service Insurance is definitely high among the WORST in service. In order to get a status update on a claim, I recently had to spend almost 2 months calling weekly and leaving voice messages just to finally have the rudest representative (a supervisor no less) call back to pretty much complain about my calls. If I had to choose coverage from an insurance company I would never choose this one.

Worst service! I was in an accident with a policy holder through this company. I called them the day after the accident and was told a rental car would be offered and a claim would be submitted. It has been a week and no one can give me information on the claim and I have yet to receive a rental car. I was told that there was no one assigned to the claim at this time! Submitted a formal complaint with state department of insurance.

Was told me the insurance check was sent on the 3rd by the 27th never received it. Jean told me that she had the wrong zip code on file, but everything else came, except the check. I went to the post office they said that it only takes a week for mail to be re-routed, and it would been forward back to the correct zip code or sent back. Needless to say. "We can cancel and re-issue". Which will probably take another month.

We are a very Large Commercial account with this company. The hold time is out of control when reporting a new claim. They keep repeating the music, and just continue to keep you on hold for up to an hour at times. Then, if too much time goes by, they simply cut you off completely, and force you to start over.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced. No one answers their phones and they will not get back to you in a timely manner. I would recommend filing through your own insurance and then getting them to deal with this company.
