I am an extremely satisfied Able Roof customer. I have a large ranch home that has over 55 squares of roof area. The previous shingles were reportedly top of the line 40 year shingles. They failed after 15 years and I was beginning to get multiple roof leaks. I needed a full roof replacement quickly. I contacted Able Roofing and quickly received an on-site review of my roof. I found out that not only the shingles were bad but the installation had issues as well. The estimator showed me installation issues that opened the roof to probable leaking issues. He also recommended that part of my roof be covered with a rubber membrane instead of regular shingles sincemy roof a very low pitch that increased the likelihood of leaks as rain would not run off quickly enough. I was also shown a comparison of the Able shingle and my previous shingle. The Able shingle was rubberized and could be bent and twisted showing its strength and durability. My previous shingle broke when subjected to the same stress. After signing a contract, Able Roof contacted to set up installation dates. Due to the size of my roof they set aside two days to complete the work. They recommended that we might have wanted to make arrangements for any pets, especially dogs, to be elsewhere as roofing noises are sometimes disturbing to pets. Their crew arrived early in the morning on the established day with a trailer for roofing debris and all roofing materials. They asked about parking the trailer to make sure it would not be a bother to us during the day. They stripped the entire roof the first day and began to put on shingles. All the workers were very polite and quite focused on their work. They had a working supervisor that insured work was completed properly. Able also had a company representative that visited at critical times during the job to insure even more oversight. At the completion of the first day they asked if they could cover the chimney to prevent any leaks if it rained during the night. They were also concerned that covering the chimney might present us some problems, which pleased me. Prior to leaving for the day the supervisor asked if we needed the debris trailer moved away from the house that evening. This again was an example of how the company was polite and trying to be conscious of the needs of the homeowner. The crew arrived early the next day during a heavy rain. The work was postponed until the following day. On that day the crew again arrived early, prepared to work. Work was difficult that day due to cold temperatures and high winds. The crew worked hard installing new roof vents and “smart vents”, vents at the edge of the roof line to insure proper ventilation (used in addition to any soffit vents present on the home that may have been blocked when additional insulation was added). The company representative again came to discuss how the rubber membrane was to be placed to insure the best results. The majority of the roof was completed that day. Prior to departure that evening, the crew walked the yard to remove any old roof materials as they had done the previous work day. On the third day a small crew came to finish the flashing around the chimney. The crew again walked the property to remove any roof material. During the installation I was often on the roof watching the progress. Both the supervisor and the company representative were happy to explain any questions which I had. The workers always were hard at work. Everyone was always polite and responsive. The following day I walked around the house looking for additional roofing debris. I could fit all the debris in the palm of my hand it was so clean. We have had several hard rains since the new roof has been installed. No leaks! Will this roof last longer than the last? I don’t know, but if the attention to detail, the superior roofing materials and the lifetime shingle warranty are indicators, I am confident it will far exceed my expectations!

The salesperson was working with my husband and did not even acknowledge my presence. Apparently girls are not capable of making home repair decisions. He promised us $500 worth of gas cards and a timely repair. We had to call several times for them to schedule our new roof install. We did receive $250 of the gas cards. The install crew was polite but in a hurry to get the job done. They did not take care in removing the old roof and trim. There are nail holes and chipped paint showing where the old trim was removed and the new smaller trim was replaced. A project manager came out to inspect the roof after it was installed and promised us another credit of $250 for the trim issues. We did not see the extra gas cards or credit on our account. After filing a claim with the BBB, the owner quickly called my husband and asked what he could do to correct the matter. He asked my husband to retract the BBB complaint and promised resolution. We thought the matter was taken care of and two months later received another bill. We contacted the owner who did not return or calls or emails. I would never recommend using Able Roofing. They tell you what you want to hear to make the sale and then give poor customer service.

The Able folks responded to our request for an estimate in good order. Josh came out and explained all the options and worked with us to get things underway. The roofing crew arrived and they were able to complete the work in a long day as they had to remove not only shingles, but slate and then re-sheet a major portion of the roof. The crew was pleasant and sang and talked through out the day. They seemed to be a very happy bunch. They cleaned up all the materials that they removed and put in a roof vent and solar fan. The home is old and this is the first roof vent and fan and it has made the house a lot cooler this summer. The same could be said for the crew that completed the gutters and downspouts and the siding. They worked hard and were very professional. And then Andy, the project manager, went over the entire area with his magnet to make sure I would not blow out any mower tires. We just had a 3 to 4 inch rain and every thing is dry. Even the basement and that may be a first for a four inch rain. So no runs, no drips and no errors. Well done Able. And Thank you.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Contracted them to fix a leak in my roof. The quote and the work was provided by the same individual. He left no invoice and wanted me to leave payment on my porch for him to "pick up" later. A few months later after a storm the roof began to leak again. I called them to fix it once again and was told that there was NO WARRANTY and I would be charged again for the repair! They also informed me that the individual who did the repair the first time was no longer employed by ABLE. I had the repair done again and my roof has started to leak again. Needless to say, I have found another company that will STAND BEHIND their work and provide quality service to their customers as well as straight-forward, honest pricing. ABLE was a real disappointment to work with and I will share my negative experiences with others that I know who are seeking roof services/repairs.

Drew was amazing and his crew was very professional. We had all of our windows and a sliding door replaced which meant it was an all day project for them. They were very personable and did not mind the flow of kids and our dogs getting in their way. They were polite and knowledgeable with what they were doing, and when we had questions and concerns, they were quick with a response. The whole team was great to be around and we felt very comfortable with them being in our home and around our children. We did have an issue with the lock towards the sliding glass door and Drew did not mind coming back, evaluating the situation and gladly replaced the handle (We preferred the brush nickle over the gold and he was happy to change it out for us.) Customer service was a a 10 out of 10 with this team and we would gladly hire them again in the future if we ever needed them!!!!

We hired Able to put in replacement windows for our home, and they look great. The salesman that came to our home for an estimate was patient and answered all of our questions. He also helped to come up with a creative solution to try and match some of our current window frames. He gave me a very competitive price compared to other window companies. The installation crew was excellent. They were on time and polite. They also noticed a potential concern with how my custom framing would look based on my current window sills. They worked through multiple options with me and came up with a great solutions that turned out fantastic. Even with the delay due to the framing concern, they finished our windows ahead of schedule. I have been very pleased with my experience having Able put in Windows and I would recommend them to others.

At the beginning of the process, an Able Roofing representative met with us several times to describe the process and what we should expect. Next, they worked with our insurance company to ensure the best possible outcome. They accommodated our schedule to begin the project, and the team of workers arrived promptly that day and continued to work all day to complete the project within one day. Our project manager, Jason H., inspected their work with a critical eye and made certain the finished product was perfect. Able Roofing was a good experience for our new roof. The representative, Larry Barreca, who provided the initial estimate was very professional and gave us all the options available, so we could make an informed decsion. Jason Hupka, the project manager was punctual and expertly supervised the work being done - explaining to us the process and materials being used. After the new roof was completed, he returned to check the roof and also the clean up of the area. He went up on the roof to check all areas and also the flashing around the chimneys. We are quite satisfied with the whole process, the roof materials and all the personnel involved. I would reccomend this company and their attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

Able Roof just completed our standing-seam metal roof on our house, porch and garage. We have never worked with a nicer, harder working crew of young men. They were always on time--or early--to work each day. They worked until dark without stopping, except for lunch. Also, they were real perfectionists. The roof is absolutely beautiful, and the whole property was cleaned up completely. From the representative at the Home & Garden Show, to the salesman who came to our house, to the project manager Brian Fitzpatrick our experience with Able Roof has been outstanding. I hired Able Roofing to replace our roof and install new gutters for our home. They offered excellent financing programs, got our roof installation scheduled quickly, and did a fantastic job of communicating throughout the entire process. From the sales rep, to the admin scheduling the job, to the Project Manager, everyone was very professional and communicative. Initially, I was told that once the roof was done, they would schedule a date for the gutter crew to replace the gutters. To my pleasant surprise, the gutter crew was out the very next day and did just as great of a job as the roofing crew. I would highly recommend Able Roofing to anyone of my friends or family for their roofing and gutter needs.

The over all service was great. Once the contract was in place and the permit was pulled the job was quick to get finished. The crew only took one day and cleaned up well after the job was finished. Going out the next day we noticed a mistake and it was corrected in the same week. From the initial phone call scheduling a quote, to the salesman, TJ writing up the contract, to Jennifer scheduling the job, and then to Jason the project manager. Everyone was courteous and made the entire process as smooth as was expected. There were no hidden charges, no surprises. Able is a great company and I will have them do more projects in the future.

My roof was replaced due to storm damage. Able Roofing made the process of dealing with my insurance company a piece of cake. I was even told what to expect from my specific insurance company -- State Farm. On the day of installation, a crew arrived about 8 a.m. They were finished at 2. p.m. I literally went inside my house and when I went back out there was no sign that anything had been done other than having a new roof. There were no old shingles to be seen. The roof itself is beautiful. Much nicer than my old roof. This is a great company and they truly care about their customers. I highly recommend them.
