My husband and myself bought a washer and dryer combo last year from Sears. After being told we would have to pay thousands of dollars over what the set was worth my husband convinced them to settle on the original agreed amount, and we paid for the combo in full on one day. Might I add we paid over 2 grand. Several times after that $209 was taken out of our account. This caused our mortgage to bounce. I believed it happened three times or more. Each time we would get an apology and a refund. Eventually it cause our home to go up for reprocession because each time a the mortgage company would try to pull a payment it would be denied due to unauthorized money being taken out of our account. My husband called and spoke with someone, and I personally emailed them myself. I explained to them that this was so much bigger than just taking money out of our account. We have 4 children, and our home was risked. The mortgage company would not listen to us. All they cared about was their money. (Which is to be expected) the next morning after I sent my email the top guy called me from his cell. He apologized several times. The money taken from our account had been refunded. He also gave us back the $2,000 we paid to get our washer/dryer combo. The total amount was around $3,000. They asked for nothing in return. They claim to want to be a "for the people" company. So, here is one example of how they made right what they did wrong.

09/30/2016 got a 49" smart tv they say make "arrangements" and they are NOT honored asked to pay total cost at the end of term they said okay they told me that i could. i had to pay a probate payment for that month, INSTEAD they tried to take a double payment was told to make a payment of 40.00 for probate, but the took the bi weekly agreement of 56.70 when i asked WHY? i did NOT get a clear response and when i asked what about the 16.70 she said NOTHING! so when i asked if i could get the payment taken out on a specific date.... they took it on the payment date HUH over-drafting my bank account!!!!!!!!!!! then switched the rules COMPLETELY took a payment every pay period, then took the total amount due( some ridiculous amount) and said i HAVE to break that up on top of the bi weekly payments!!!! crooks.. will i ever use again NEVER! And i would encourage people who are thinking of it be cautious. And for the people who are saying read your contract i did and it says one thing in print but another over the damn phone when your "making arrangements" and they dgaf about over-drafting your account. one star is toooo much for these ppl bbb should be called! im not returning ish to these ppl either i believe that is their goal steal your money and have the merchandise returned F that!

Is bad do not send any documents to know your payments and first you say one thing and then another also do not want my payments will automatically want to send mail is not reliable you say one thing and then another, also did not sign anything with them only payments by phone to inform me, I will make no payments until you send me my payment dates and mail please all comments on very bad need to improve their image as a financial unit

Please please i cant stress enough RUN AWAY! I just got sent to collections for an item i didnt even purchase... the rim shop that i was dealing with never disclosed the horrible details about there program.. so when i found out i quickly called the rim shop and also tempoe to opt out .. so now to my astonishment i get sent to collections for an item i never purchaded or recieved .. $2300!!!!! Going to file a police report on both of these crooks... they need to b shutdowm like the scum that they are... i think the 1 star says it all .. if google reviews allowed 0 stars im certain thats what it would be... consumers please dont kid ureself this is and will b a disaster if u choose to deal with them... these reviews dont lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent this company a check for the full balance within the first week of purchasing my mattress. Plus the initial fee for 40.00. I get a message from my bank that they see fraudulent postings so I call my bank to see what is going on... they will hassle you no matter what. Something is wrong ! I may even call Chanel 11 News here in Baltimore to do an Investagation or call my Congress man. Do your homework on everything !!! I have learned a valuable lesson. If it gets to bad the better business Bureau is next. I think if enough people get their attention they will either change their ways or go out business. It is their call !!! I only gave them one star because they exist !!!!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! Deserves no stars!!! this is the worst company ever and the Employee that works for Fix it fast in the Galleria at Tyler that knows nothing about how Tempoe works. Its a total rip off. Because the sales rep did not explain how the program actually works (YOU RENT THE JEWELRY)and not actually buy it like we were told you end up paying triple the amount for the merchandise. DO NOT USE TEMPO IF ANYONE EVERY OFFERS IT TO.. Bad Business then when you call and ask to speak to a supervisor the call some how gets dropped how convient for them..

This company has the WORST customer service. Please heed the hooror stories and do NOT do business with them. I purchased a treadmill, my receipt lists the payment dates and amounts. They charge my card on random days for random amounts, sometimes several times a month. I asked them to come get the treadmill AFTER the last payment date on my receipt and they continue to argue that the payment terms arent over yet. I have told them twice to stop charging my card and now I am reporting them to the bank and the BBB.

Never though I would be in this situation I recent purchase a ring for my girl which they approve you to finance. They offer you paying plan but they never explain to you that Your not buying the ring your leasing it to a freaken finance company called Tempoe who you think your financing not renting you ring. This is a big scam how they trick people my offering them approved finance but they end up ripping you off . Alway read the contract before buying or look up the finance company before signing any papers

AVOID AT ALL COST Got some furniture for 899.00 and i was set up to pay 10 payments of 80 dollars every 2 weeks i gave 90 bux down and i was under the impression on my last payment the furniture was mine called customer service to verify, turns out I been leasing it and if i wana buy it i have to fork over 500 bux and pay it all off otherwise im paying 80 untill i return the items then they still charge a return and a restocking fee just headaches all around... Ill just go back to Rent a Center

I recently was notified that I have an account in Collections for the amount of $1909 from Tempoe LLC. A company I have never done business with nor have given my information to. This company is practicing Fraudulent business and using peoples information and credit to steal. I am filing a police report for identity theft and fraud against them as well as the company that do business with, Mattress By Appointment in Philadelphia, PA. I also will be filing legal action against Tempoe LLC.

here is what i found out this morning. in January we went to AAmco we needed a new transmission. the total was 2400. we gave them 400 plus 180 towards $2000 financing. turns out this is a rental agreement. we have paid 2520 so far. if we buy out now its 1,060 (3,580 paid in). our lease is up in june 2018 at that point 6,480 will have been paid. the lease agreement says at that point we can return the transmission or pay 850 to own it which means we will have paid 7,330 on 2000 financed

Really need help. Have been asking those reps for corporate or district manager. I want to be done with this horrible, rude, lieng company, but I refuse to pay these scammers anything more than I should! My pay off is today 8/15/2016 and they have hired my pay off amount twice! Thieves. I was loaned $350 for a TV, changed the loan to "90 days same as cash" so that I would pay no interest. Within 45 days Tempoe took $467 out of my checking account and they are still taking... Customer service is no good either.
