Overpromise and under deliver. Talked to the owner "Eric" one evening for about 30 minutes on the phone about upgrading our system and getting the most energy efficient system available while being comfortable the expensive power bills. He said that he would personally come out and evaluate the entire system and give us recommendations on what we could do. The next day after the original appointment was skipped I called them back to figure out what was going on. Eric told me that he got very busy and was sorry and would send someone out. That they did. However we went from looking at upgrading our system and to a $549 bill for freon. This is rare that I actually spend the time to write reviews.... I am a business owner and I am certain that our customers do not get treated this way. I did call the office to take care of my balance in full and expressed my concern.... The lady on the phone was the icing on the cake for me I can understand how they all work together as they all had the same type of attitude.

Eric is rude, made a pregnant women on bed rest cry! I called Eric Kjelshus Energy...... We needed a rough-in quote for plumbing and hvac to finish off our basement. He walked around and quoted us around $70,000 for our 700 sq.ft. basement. I asked why it was so expensive, he stated because he wanted to do sheetrock, insulation too... I gently rephrased myself....we only needed the rough-in done of the Havc in the ceilings and a pipe run from the shower/tub combo to the existing drain 3 feet away. Eric said, ok,ok and walked upstairs to the front door, without another word and was gone! Wow, I was so confused on what just happened??? Clearly he has issues.

Never use this company! I paid to have 2 visists since my AC stopped working. It took them over 2 weeks for me to talk to someone and get a quote (it was 90 -100 outside). I had to hire another AC comany that could come out ASAP and fix my unit. This company got my ticket order mixed up with another person, and when I finally talked to someone they just wanted to sell me an entire new unit. I had someone else fix my unit for only a few Hundred. Do not use these guys, they never call you back.

We had a hot water heater go kaput on us overnight, and Eric Kjelshus Energy sent out someone that morning. They were on time, polite, showed us exactly what was happening, informed us of our options, and got the fix done in short order. We also got a good list of recommendations for the future and other maintenance tasks to remember. Nothing but excellent service all around.

He double billed us. Called repeatedly to try and get our money back. A short time later we got billed again! Called the bank and had the 3rd charge reversed, but never got our money back on the original double charge. It might have been an honest mistake on top of another honest mistake, but we will never know because he never bothered to call us back.
