I got First Chicago Insurance through Insure With Us Agency at Wheeling, IL and have paid them diligently for two vehicles. Almost at midnight, on the 12th of January, 2017, one of my cars was parked in its assigned lot in front of my apartment, a larger car turned into my street. Since the street was covered with ice, the car slid and knocked my car dragging it across the parking lot a few meters until it came to a halt. As a consequence, it damaged my back bumper and scratched the paint on my trunk lid. It turned out that their car insurance company, Founders, decided not to pay for the damages. I then turned to First Chicago Insurance, my insurance. It turns out that it claims the paint damage is not from the accident and only accepts the bumper damage, which of course shall be covered with the deductible. Bottom line, they are not responding for the damages. I consider it a theft to be paying hundreds of dollars for car insurance and when they are expected to rise up and cover, the best they can do is deny the claim. And the worst punishment for a thief is for everyone to know it. “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?” But for unjustly avoiding your due for car crash damages? These people are there to steal, not to provide a service.

they are the worst I have ever dealt with, I have a dealer ship where I require insurance on cars when I have customers buy here pay here, I have been referring my customers to this company because one of them brought me some advertising cards for them, but I believe now if you buy cheap you get the cheap, real bad employees they have, the claim takes over a month with them, every time when you call them they put you into their voice mails, I called at 8am they called me 5 till 5pm that day, super unprofessional people, if you are looking for a real American treatment keep away from these people, this is America not a third world country!!

Not only were the people working for the company terrible and had horrible attitudes but they tried to rip me off. I had my car looked at after being hit by a first chicago insurance holder and according to first chicago the repairs would be $900. After having it looked at by someone of my choosing the repairs were $4,000+. This guy totaled my car and the insurance company had no intention whatsoever of taking care of it. I processed the claim through my insurance and they intend to go after them with an attorney in hopes of getting reimbursed for the damage their insurance carrier did.

i submitted a claim and they sent out and appraiser and told me everything was fine and 30 days later told me that thier policy holder didnt even have insurrance in the first place after i placed NUMEROUS calls and it seemed as if they were doging me the whole time.. and all this was after i rented a car for a month because they told me they would cover it. and now nothing. i feel like everyone here is criminals point blank i would definintely give them less than one star. i really hope these ppl get sued and get whats coming to them

I wish I could give less than one star. This company is absolutely horrible. I have had the unpleasant fortune of working with First Chicago after I got hit by one of their customers. I have been waiting for over two weeks to even get an appraisal on the car. The bumper is currently secured by duct tape and I am unable to even take it to a body shop at this time without out of pocket expenses. Worst customer service. Worst company. For the love of God, never willingly engage in a business transaction with this organization.

I had a wreck back in September 2015 and you would assume the other insurance company would contact mine and it would be resolved. No i just got a letter in the mail from a law firm stating i have 30 days to get this resolved or i will be sued. This is now MAY 2016 and nothing has been resolved and ive been fighting to get a call back or to talk to someone when i call in. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE DUMBASSES!!!! spend the extra 10 bucks and go somewhere else....the ten bucks is going towards your experience if ever needed.

My car was hit by a customer of First Chicago. After reading all of these reviews, I have to say that I was pretty nervous about filing my claim through them. However, the process could not have been any smoother. All in all my car was fixed within two weeks of it being hit, and I had no issues with the company whatsoever.

These people are a SCAM!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give zero stars. PLEASE DO NOT insurance with them. If you ever get into an accident you will be screwed. I was involved in an accident with someone who had this insurance and have yet to have my car repaired or a payout. THAT WAS 8 MONTHS AGO!

I had no problems with First Chicago Insurance. I was involved in an accident May 28th 2017, a total loss to my vehicle. My claim was paid in full 5 weeks later. My agent was also easy to work with, returned all my calls and emails.
