We had tried to refiance a couple of months prior to Meridian but were turned down by Chase even though we had a mortgage with them for over 10 years, they said it was because of our income to debt ratio and they made no offers of help other then to get more income so we gave up until we received the offer from Meridian which was Much Better than the Chase offer so we decided to try once again. They did say that we should consider doing business with a smaller mortgage company rather than a bank which is why we noticed the offer from Meridian to begin with. Meridian Home Mortgage did Exactally what they said they would do if we chose them to refianance our home, They not only paid off our Mortgage but also our Credit Cards AND our Car Loan which will really help us each and every month. We really appreciated the video we received from Tony Tucci explaining the process step by step. Also it was Great that they let us know what was going and where we were in the process each and every week by phone or email and sometimes both. When we ran into a snag because of a leased car we co-signed for our daughter they let us know what it would take to solve the problem which we did and then everything went as they said it would from there until we closed. We have refianced before but with different companies but Meridian is the First time we felt they really carred for us personally and helped us whenever they could. Our future is Much Brighter now thanks to Meridian Home Mortgage Corporation working with us to refinance our home. Sincerely, G & C, K

Everyone from Anthony Tucci to Stephanie DiPietro and all in between( pipeline team) were nice and courteous to work with. Had some bumps along the way but all worked out. A little confused on a couple of things though....? my closing fees where estimated to be about 5K, but according to final paperwork was over 15K. And was not told all specs on how my FHA loan( extra insurance) payments worked( up front cost and then every month for next 11 years.....?) After closing, I received a follow up call explaining everything to me and was much more at ease after conversation. Meridian is a fine company to do business with and I appreciate all there follow up calls.

I received a flyer in the mail from Meridian regarding a cash-out Refinance offer. Not knowing much about how the Refinancing process works, I gave them a call to learn more. And I am so happy I did. By deciding to Refinance, we would be saving over $1000/month due to the lower interest rate & debt consolidation. And on top of that able to put more money into our savings account. The entire team at Meridian is not only extremely helpful, but they are also informative and always fast to answer questions that we had. I worked mainly with Nick & Anthony and both were extremely knowledgeable, and guided us through the entire process.

The People we worked with at Meridian were lovely. When you call, they answer, not an automated system. The only complaint was the length of time that it took, three months from start to finish. After the house was assessed and final details (how much, loan length) addressed, I had to call the Associate handling the closing for updates of status and process. This was different from the initial associates who were detailed on every aspect. That is the reason for four stars instead of five (I would have only deducted a 1/2 star but the system would not let me). Consistent contact through out the process would be lovely.

Overall, I had a very positive experience with Meridian Home Mortgage. They were very responsive at every step of the process. I also appreciate that when I reached out to them with emails, phonecalls, texts, etc...they were quick to respond to my requests. The only thing that I would have preferred to have been different might have been the length of time that the loan process took..it took about 4 months overall. But it was worth it! I am totally satisfied with Meridians handling of my VA refinancing of my home. Everything with the exception of final closing was handled online and in a timely manner. The entire process was completed in less than 60 days, and Meridian me or exceeded all estimated time estimates for each step of the process. Special kudos to Dave Committe. He led me through each step and answered all of questions in a timely manner and his professionalism and expertise were outstanding. On a scale of one to ten, our experience with Meridian Home Mortage would be rated a six. We felt there was information that the underwriter requested was not relevant to us being approved for the loan. There was information that was requested to be emailed, scanned or faxed. For whatever reason, during the loan process, that same information was requested again. Other than that frustration, the professionalism of the team, and the ease of being able communicate via telephone or email was commendable.

The Meridian team was outstanding starting with my Loan Officer Tony and supported throughout the entire process to final closing by Jami, Kara, and several others. It took two tries in 2016 and 2017, but the Meridian team made it happen with a very generous lender credit on a VA refi that required NO out of pocket costs to close AND put $300 back in our pocket each month with an awesome interest rate. They came through with their offer, we now have lower monthly payments. They were always quick to respond and provided the information we asked for. The process took a long time (probably 4 months) and involved a lot of paperwork, but I think that is typical and it was worth it in the end. They even allow you to close the loan at your house in the evening after work, which was very convenient. They send an attorney right to your house.

Quick process for a refinance. Good rate and quick closing. The only negative is that they do not have a free online mortgage payment option on their website. They have an option but it is through Western Union and you must pay a fee. This is very inconvenient especially if you live in another state to have to mail a check. In this day and age, this option should be available for free. Im hoping Meridian will change this!

We refinanced with them, it took a little longer than expected because we changed our mind on the loan type based on how the appraisal came back, but this had nothing to do with Meridians diligence.
