When my husband and I first found out that our son had been arrested, we were beside ourselves. Then to find out that our son, who was 19, had been charged with two class 2 felony charges. We were, devastated. My husband and I have never been arrested or in trouble with the law, so we were very ignorant about how the judicial system really worked. My husband got on his smart phone and searched criminal attorneys, and thankfully, Mayes & Telles law firm popped up. My husband began to read and research their website. And he looked at a couple of other websites but went back to Mayes & Telles. My husband called and spoke to someone, and made an appointment. We meant with David assistant to discuss what our son was exactly charge with, and the potential cost. I was so scared and really could not believe that we were in this situation. My husband and I live paycheck to paycheck, and we didn’t have any savings, but Mayes & Telles worked with us, and worked out a payment plan that we could afford, We then meant with David after he had an opportunity to go over the information from the police department, and David answered all of our questions and explained exactly what we could expect. There were no surprises. David and his staff were always very professional. And it didn’t matter if I called, emailed, or stopped by the office, David or his assistant would always take their time, to answer my questions. I never felt that I was rushed, or that my son was not being taken care of. David’s staff would always tell me, “not to worry,” but as a parent you worry about your kids. Our son would call David’s office from jail, and he would always get all his questions answered, he was even able to set up appointments while in jail, with his legal team. This whole process from start to finish was amazing. David was able to get our son a very good deal, I couldn’t believe it. The entire staff had worked so hard for our family. But our son is easily influenced and he was scared. He decided he was going to leave state, after he was released from jail. And in doing, so our son was again arrested in a different state and picked up new charges, and finally was brought back to Arizona, where he was going to have to face new charges, for leaving the state while on probation. I called David and again Mayes & Telles took our son’s case. This time our son was looking at up to 20 years in prison. I really thought that our son was going to prison for a very long time. But once again David and his team, really worked so hard for our son’s freedom. And again was able to get the best deal possible for our son. Our son will be getting out and placed on probation. I just really feel that Mayes & Telles treated my son as a person not just a case. And that there was a legal team working for my son defense. The experience that David and his team bring to the table, gave my son, a great defense. I know that without the caring, compassionate, and professionalism of Mayes & Telles, I would be visiting my son in prison, for a very long time. Thank you all so much Eva Monville

I am writing to express my satisfaction with the Mayes & Telles law firm. I am a parent of nine son’s ranging in ages from 21yrs- 41yrs old, like ever mother we all want to see our children become the best that they can and we as parent s do what every we can to help them along the way. Well, with three of my youngest ones in college now and everyone else out raising their own families ,I thought I was finally able to breathe a little; that is until I received a call from one of my adult son’s informing me he had been arrested and charged with some serious charges. With him living in Arizona on the West coast and me living in Pennsylvania on the east coast, I didn’t know who to turn to are where to go for help, I didn’t know anyone in Arizona ,and nothing about their criminal system. I just prayed and ask the Lord to guide me to someone legally that could help me help my son. These attorneys let me know that while my son was facing some pretty serious charges, they felt confident they could represent him well, they never promised me they would win the case, but they felt confident they could build a strong case to help him in this situation. I really liked that the firm assigned a paralegal to keep me informed of details and what they were recommending in the case. I even had the opportunity to meet face to face with my son’s legal representation and everyone in the firm was so nice and treated me with high respect. A week ago my son ‘s case went to court and I thanks God that these attorneys were able to do exactly what they said they would be able to do, they build a strong case that allowed most of my son’s charges against him to be dropped , and now instead of facing life in prison he will have an opportunity to go on with his life and once again have an opportunity to be there for his children and be that productive citizen to society. Paula Dixon with MayesTelles has been a God sent Lawyer to me! I have a criminal case of a possession that started off as a nightmare! I had hired another Lawyer originally, but that Lawyer did not work out cause he was not doing for me what I needed done! He made promises to my case that he could not keep from the get go! He even had his partner show up to my court dates and put another Lawyer, his partners, on my paperwork! Through the entire process, they treated me with the utmost respect, concern and kept me informed of everything going on behind the scenes. Every one of my questions were answered, and fears addressed. I was given all my options as they approached and changed from start to finish with detailed pros and cons to each choice of legal action I made. Mayes Telles was very knowledgeable from day 1, I explained my case to Dean he then gathered more case information met with the proper attorneys to handle 2 separate case for me. they provided me with a reasonable quote, I then explained my current financial situation and that I am on a tight budget and he was able to accommodate my needs by accepting a 1500$ retainer and significantly lowering the overall price.
