I was involved in a no fault accident in Indiana first week of May. As per Indiana state rule, the insurance company should submit the proof of coverage (SR 22) electronically to the DMV within a specified time (45 days i think). Failing to do so will cause your driving license to suspend. I have contacted GEICO 2 times after i got the proof of coverage requirement letter from DMV. GEICO told me that proof of coverage was submitted. Mid July, i have got a letter from DMV that my driving license has been suspended due to insurance company failed to submit proof of coverage. I have contacted DMV and they told me that the dates mentioned in the SR 22 form is incorrect. Also, DMV told me that i should not be driving the car while my license is suspended. I contacted GEICO again and asked them to submit the form again. After 3 days still my driving license is in suspended status. I contacted DMV again. This time DMV said the model year of the car in the form is incorrect. Contacted GEICO again and they said they will submit again today. My Driving license is suspended for almost a week now. Geico has been a very good company to me before but not any more. I am at the mercy of other people now for going to work and doing basic stuffs. I have asked GEICO to reimburse for my travel expense as i had an important travel over the week end. They said other than apology they cannot do anything. As soon as GEICO submit my proof of insurance and DMV reinstate my license, i am moving away from this irresponsible company.

Been a no accident/no claim/no ticket costumer of Geico for 7 years One speeding ticket (75 in a 70 zone) Price jacked up by more than 100% I guess all those commercials are expensive FYI Leaving Geico and not coming back
