this was a frustrating helter-scelter operation from the go loan was first printed and sent to me to show me cost of everything. it was to be an estimate since the appraisal had not been made. you used the appraisal from 2012. I believe it was used to hide possible and realistic closing costs. after informing you rep about it he said he would send an updated one. same thing. same old appraisal figures and was told that the numbers did not matter since this was just an example. wrong. I was being pushed into a different payback than a standard mortgage loan. got that straitened out ant then they running for pieces of info every two or three days even after I told your rep I could not fax or email any attachments. the instructions were received and daily ignored even up to and passed the closing time, location and date. only after I; personally spoke to the closer I was first told she had no info, papers or phone call to proceed by. back to the phone with your rep who by this time was ignoring my phone calls. finally the closer called the title company and was told that the closing was going through a different shadow company. your rep said everything worked as normal.closing the closing was postponed by 11/2 hours so closer could catch up. not done yet. final day of loan recall by me your rep called and said you needed me to send an updated driver lisense since the one the closer sent by phone was blurred. this took you four days to notice this. not done yet. received the two checks to pay off two bills. they were sent by ups express envelope but no signature was required. I returned home on Friday and found the envelope between storm and regular door. I have rfd delivery and when tried to tell your rep that I would have been better to require a signature he said this is the way we do it, among other things.there was always an excuse but never your reps fault. my loan is completed and it is the last loan I will ever place with your co and/or this rep. very unprofessional behavior and policies and procedures have a great day peter malherek

Thank you for the opportunity to tell my story. First and foremost I became involved with your company through an ad on the TV that was directed at the Vet and liked what I heard and saw. I called and was put in touch with Theresa Ruck who could not had done a better job of assisting me through the refinance process. Absolutely stellar performance and you are lucky to have her. Now, we get to the closing and disbursement of funds and there are some minor glitches to overcome in my case. Nobody is talking to me, nobody will advise me, my closing documents say funds were to be disbursed on 10/16 and we are now at 10/18 and still no communication. I do know that Theresa is or was on vacation and this is not her area anyway so not her problem. But somebody should pick up the ball at this stage and keep the borrower informed on where things stand. This is not something I do every day, and we are talking about a considerable amount of money hanging out there somewhere. I have escrow payments (insurance) due this month, I have a second mortgage payment (which is rolling into my new loan with New Day) soon and I have no idea if I should pay it or not. Bottom line is what I heard from others. Getting there is great. Once there, it appears you are on your own and I, for one, am not happy right now. Am I now in a "buyer beware" situation? I look forward to hearing from somebody at the closing end of this process soon. I will provide an update to this review at that time. Thanks. Update: It is now 10 days beyond what was projected as the disbursement of funds date and still nothing from New Day. I have no idea if the transactions are complete, if I need to make first of the month payments or where we stand. This is not a good way to finish what originally appeared to be a great connection. But it could be just a miscommunication. I will update this review if I hear anything. Thanks again.

I had been seeing the New Day USA television ads for a couple of months. I decided on a Saturday to go to the New Day USA website to get additional information. I left my name, phone number, and email address. The very next day, on Sunday no less, I received a call from Eugene Bernard Davis III, an Account Manager for New Day USA. After discussing my financial needs with him, I agreed to proceed. Then I asked him if all New Day USA employees worked on Sundays -- he replied that they did not normally work on Sundays but he had come in to the office to catch up on a few things and saw my request for more information. Mr. Davis worked very closely with me over the next thirty days and my re-finance was completed. The fact that I live in the Pacific Daylight Time Zone and Mr. Davis, at New Day USA, was in the Eastern Daylight Time Zone caused no issues whatsoever -- Mr. Davis and I spoke numerous times often long after his "work day" had ended. He constantly touched base to keep me informed during the process. I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED with New Day USA and would highly recommend New Day USA to all of my fellow veterans. They are the Pits They use their Fox News adv. to get the Veteran base by using vets as paid spokespersons ! They are NOT the veteran’s solution ! Unless you are a ( COOKIE CUTTER ) applicant they will be your nightmare ! All financial institutions dealing with VA loans offer 100 % financing FACT !!!!! Read the reviews , I bought into their Company ? w/o reading reviews ! I trusted Adm Lynch etc. I went through 5 weeks of manipulation and finally was told I needed 11,000 plus $ to closing ! ....... Called my own bank and in 10 days 100 % financing 400 + lower mortgage payments and a 2 % lower rate ! After watching Fox today and seeing their same adv. again , ( stopped watching the news for a while .... always bad ) I got upset and started to read their reviews BBB 1 1/2 stars and 66 negative reviews ( similiar to mine ) I decided to write my experience ! That ad needs to be OFF the air !!!!!! If you want a truly veteran based Financial Insitution NFCU is # 1 also USAA ..... NEW DAY USA LENDS TO ANY PERFECT APPLICANT not necessarily a veteran ! They are a misleading and manipulative org. R E Scott USMC ret.

My experience with NewDay was excellent. My loan officer, Travis, provided great service. He kept me informed of all requirements and issues during the entire process. He also resolved all problems I encountered during the process. I liked the way the loan officer served as the single point of contact. This was not a bottle neck. All my phone calls and emails were promptly responded to by the loan officer. I did inform quality compliance to recommend to their staff to pay more attention to customer concerns as I did run into one issue with their selected title company which could have been avoided. Also their web site needs improvement as it is a bit difficult to navigate for log in when the customer needs to pay a bill on-line. My end result was good. I received a lower interest rate and monthly payment than my previous loan as the was a re-fi. I was able to pay off debt which will help me get back on track. I would recommend NewDay to Vets. Thanks NewDay!

As of now i have nothing good to say about this group. Took several days to get back to me and then they only contact me during the hours i said i wasnt available. I know i will be a hard case to get approved. My POA when i was deployed not paying bills and a car accident that took me out of work for over a year put my credit in bad shape. When i finally talked to someone they couldnt give me any guideline as to what their requirements are for approval. The commerical talks about them doing everything possible to help vets. I havent seen a glimpse of that yet. I see success story of refi stories but none as far as vets wanting to buy a first home and get out of the expensive renting processes. I have my home loan voucher from VA and still cant come close to getting true help getting into a home. USAA was much more informative about procedures and planning. And even BOA and WF could at least give me their basic minimum qualifications

This company is only after your money and all veterans should steer clear of them, They make it sound like they are doing something good for veterans but they care nothing for you (I know... I know they are a business). I inquired about the cash-out refinance, my original loan was 203K, I have 179K remaining at 4.87%, I wanted to lower my rate and get some cash out. They came back with 13K cash out at 4.5%, and the new loan amount would be 211K. Anyone agreeing to this is out of their mind. Who would add over 30K and 6 more years to their loan to get 13K? I am a veteran and appalled that they are taking advantage of other veterans that may not understand what they are doing. I decided to refinance my current balance at 3.75 with another company, no cash out but no green weenie either. Oh yeah, I think saying "Thank you for your service" is fine once during the conversation, but not 20 times during a 15 min phone call.

New Day USA has a superb business model to serve our veterans. We utilized them to refinance our home after reviewing all the options out there. New Day USA is very competitive and offers a much different model as they secure lending above the typical 80% loan to value ratio. Customer service is very important to us and our loan officer far exceeded expectations. I would rank New Day USA on par with USAA as it comes to customer centricity. New Day USA has cemented its foundation as a top tier lender and will definitely gain more market share of the mortgage business as it continues to serve just our veterans. You can rely on New Day USA to provide you a solution to your home financing needs. I would highly recommend New Day USA mortgage services over Wells Fargo and Navy Federal.

Fantastic to work with NewDay USA! Blake was my account rep and went above and beyond my expectations. We are ten years away of retiring and I was nervous about refinancing for a 30 year loan. At the same time we had student loans, was paying a high monthly mortgage payment on a 15 year mortgage and needed new windows for the house. Blake showed us a 30 year mortgage would bring down our monthly payment $700 and with the equity in our house, the student loans would be payed off and have enough cash for new windows!!! This gave us more discretionary spend each month and if we put those monthly savings towards the mortgage, we would be able to pay off the house in 8 years!!!! Thanks to Blake and NewDay USA, we have a rock solid retirement plan!

I applied. I have three items on my credit report that are negatively resent. I asked to refi and use some of my equity to pay off these very small items that are a thorn in my rear. Did not even do anything. Right away, I was told NO. I was told to pay these Credit cards and then reapply. After that, they may consider helping me.. The CEO says they will do everything and anything they can to help. Its a lie. He says we need a leg up, not charity. I did not ask for charity. I have allot of equity on my house, just wanted to reduce monthly an pull a little to get back on my feet. Seek other companies. They are full of it at New day

There is only one word to describe what an awesome experience I had working with NewDay USA....WONDERFUL! And it was so much easier than I could ever have imagined being a first time Home Buyer. Calvin Reyes was a pleasure to work with as he assisted us on our journey to reach our dream home that we love. Adm. Lynch and his team displayed the knowledge and expertise to make this home buying experience an enjoyable and exciting one. Their timely response to all questions and concerns were beyond even the highest of expectations. I will recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home. Many thanks NewDay USA!!!

Although everything was done by phone of email, it was very easy. From first contact with New Day until final closing, it only took 4-1/2 weeks. Got me out of a deep financial hole and gave me a plan that should pay off my new loan in less time than the original mortgage. I highly recommend New Day and they have the best people working for them. Ben Taylor and Mike McCarthy were the best financial people I have ever worked with. Never left me in the dark, answered every question and I felt like they truly cared about us and helping us get things in order. New Day should definitely hang onto these two individuals.
