On our trip to Africa our luggage was delayed and for almost a week and we finally got some of the pieces of luggage but up to now 2 other pieces of luggage are missing. I filed a claim and this is what I got in return. As the claims administrator for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, we received your claim relating to your baggage delay. We have reviewed the facts and have determined that we are unable to make payment for the following reasons listed below. The CheapOair travel protection plan purchased specifically lists when baggage delay benefits will be paid. You claimed under this policy for 1 twin stroller and 1 suitcase full of clothes and other personal items, which are not covered expenses under the baggage delay benefit. The baggage delay benefit does not provde benefits for loss, theft, or damage to luggage and/or personal effects. The benefit only reimburses for additional expenses incurred for personal effects, as a result of the baggage delay. In view of the above and based on the claim documentation received, we must regretfully decline to pay for your loss. Should you have receipts for additional personal effects expenses incurred due to the delay, please submit for further review and consideration. The policy language that is pertinent to this matter: "BAGGAGE DELAY (OUTWARD JOURNEY ONLY) The Company will reimburse You for the expense of necessary personal effects, up to the maximum shown on the Confirmation of Coverage, if Your Checked Baggage is delayed or misdirected by a Common Carrier for more than twenty-four (24) hours, while on a Covered Trip, except for travel to final destination or place of residence. You must be a ticketed passenger on a Common Carrier. Additionally, all claims must be verified by the Common Carrier who must certify the delay or misdirection and receipts for the purchases must accompany any claim." Day light robbery.

We have traveled with Go Ahead Tours a few times and have never had to file a claim; however this year my spouse has had knee surgery which we thought would be OK by travel time and then I came down with Ischemic Optic Neuropathy a month ago and continue to have problems with my rights eye. Having taken out the insurance with Seven Corners; I contacted them and the service we have received; not only by telephone but also online has been the greatest one could have ever asked for. Seven Corners will make you feel like your one of the owners or part of their organization. They have assisted us in filing through conversation, examples and service I would only have expected from my parents in heaven. What a group. Thank you Seven Corners for your professional and extensive work in accommodating our needs in this time of misery. I would highly recommend parties to take out travel insurance through Seven Corners in any case when they have plans to travel abroad or even making reservations here in advance of actual leaving on your well deserved vacation. Staff was very respectful and helpful throughout process of refunding the portion of lodging costs lost due to a medical claim so they accordingly get a 5 star rating. However, I would caution folks to understand prior to purchasing any insurance policy to understand what is and what is not covered. To explain, if your airline(s) offers you credit(s) good only for a limited time due to your medical cancellation then you cannot be refunded those costs with most trip insurance(s) because airline(s) provides credit(s). So please wisely only purchase the appropriate amount of trip insurance needed should you ever actually need to apply the insurance. I found out via this experience where I actually had the rare incident of actually applying a trip insurance claim that I had routinely been over-insuring all my trips.

We purchased the travel insurance from Seven Corners as part of a trip package for one of our children. Unfortunately, events conspired to make that trip infeasible and I called up Seven Corners to ask about filing a claim. The person I spoke with was helpful, very specific and told me what documentation was required - and then followed up via email. Took me a short while to obtain the necessary docs, I filed the claim and within ten days or so I received notification of payment. No fuss, no muss, no disputes. I am not generally a fan of insurance companies but this process has been super easy and just as it was claimed it would be, if I did what was required. Highly recommend Seven Corners, both for the broad coverage they provide and for their customer service. Trip insurance is well worth the small investment.

Three years ago I took my first "big" trip to Thailand and Cambodia. As was suggested, I purchased travel insurance from Seven Corners after researching prices and coverage online. It was a wonderful trip, but started with a lot of anxiety and stress as I was stuck in a blizzard on a layover in NY at JFK. I had to find a hotel room there which was difficult to do. Then I missed the first day of the tour due to the delayed flight. On top of that, my luggage was lost. By the 3rd day I was back on the tour reunited with my luggage. When I returned home, I filed a claim with Seven Corners and was pleasantly surprised - no hassle at all, and received a check for the hotel, missed tour day, and delayed luggage. I had expected to have to argue to get my claim paid, but it was simple, quick, and efficiently paid.

They are very thoughtful to consider, for each purchase made insurance a person can carry in your wallet a small card, very humane. Feedback speed is very fast, can immediately receive a confirmation e-mail sent to them after the online purchase service is very attentive. Until now, no claims had hoped not to have, after all, claims there is a certain thing happen, so, to be honest, do not know whether the claim is also very close.

Our travelling party of three was forced to cancel our trip to South Carolina due to Hurricane Matthew on Oct. 6, 2016. We luckily purchased travel insurance through Seven Corners, thinking we would never have to use it. Our airline tickets were quite expensive so we thought it would be wise to invest in the minimal cost of travel insurance. When we started the process of submitting a claim everyone we contacted at the office was very courteous and supportive. We followed the directions on the website, submitted all the necessary documents, and received a reimbursement check within two weeks!! I have never dealt with an insurance claim that was not problematic until Seven Corners. I highly recommend using this company for any travel plans.

I had to cancel a trip I was supposed to take with my son this summer (a school group with EF Tours). Due to unforeseen circumstances I could not afford for both of us to go. I was able to get most of my payments on my account transferred to my son so he would be paid off, but some of it EF Tours could not refund. I was able to file a claim with Seven Corners, and they were very friendly and understanding, and helped me get my claim filed and I was able to recoup some of my lost funds. Thank you for your compassion and understanding! I am extremely sad that I cannot go with my son, but am glad we could recoup some of my money so that he will have spending money in Ireland and England. Thank you again!

I am a repeat client of Seven Corners and have always been satisfied at its competitive pricing, ease of application and completeness of documentation. While being temporarily overseas, many time zones away, I attempted a purchase for future travel but I was unable complete it. I contacted by email the agent listed, Motti Cohen, and explained my problem. In spite of being out of normal working hours, Mr Cohen answered me immediately and then, at his own expense, made an international call to clear up the difficulties. With his advice, I was able to complete my purchase. I am very satisfied with that level of customer service and wish to thank him again here.

If I could put 0 star I would. This company is the worst one to deal with. We had to claim 2 times and nothing was covered. Injury from a bike fall needing surgery. NOT COVERED. Lung infection from a bad cold. NOT COVERED. The surgery was more $20 000 and we had to pay everything ourselves and then claim (without knowing if they would cover it) and they did not. When you call they try to avoid answering your question and for some reason your claim is always pending until you get mad and ask to speak to a supervisor to realize that they will not cover it. I could write forever about this company. CHOOSE ANOTHER INSURANCE COMPANY PLEASE!

I along with my wife visit the US nearly every 2 years and have found the Seven Corners Inbound Guest insurance policy the best there is. I tried to get travel insurance in my home country before coming but it turned out very expensive with high premium rates especially since I am over 60. I was introduced to Seven Corners by a relative who lives in the US and I opted for it and found it is affordable and quite economical compared to the one in my home country. This is the 3rd time we have taken this medical insurance and will continue to do so in future visits too. Thank you Seven Corners. We can now holiday tension free.

I think seven corners offer is very reasonable, less than most schools to provide insurance options, but also in line with the US government on visiting scholars and student insurance, the basic requirements. In addition to the insurance ID card is also very convenient. However, there is evaluation that the scope of this insurance to accept limited, do not know if it is geographical differences. We have taken a policy from this company for my mom and dad who are visting usa for 6 months. They take premiums fine with minimal docs. And they want a lots of documents to process. And they say we can send docs through email but they never process it and still complain we have not recieved any. Even though we have email confirmation that they got the email. Noone calls or process our claims. My doctor office sending me invoices for the portion they have to pay and they never paid our march 2013 claim till now. Today is july last week. Dont buy policies from this company.

Think twice when you buy insurance from this company. Or better save your money since you will be paying your claims out of pocket anyways. We bought the travel insurance every time my mother in law visited us. But when it came time to deliver and pay the claim for the doctor visits they spent 3 months thinking about it and at the end denied the claim with justification that she had "pre-existing condition" i.e. visited the same doctor 2 years before. I am trying to be civil, but there is nothing civil about this insurance company.

I always buy insurance from this company. It sounds good until you have to deal with them. I had a claim which they do not pay citing different things the hospital has not sent. The hospital keeps on saying they sent it but insurance keeps on saying they have not received it. One of so called supervisors just hung the phone on me. So much for their professionalism. Worst customer service experience. Save the money and pay the bill yourself. I wish I could give them zero stars but its not an option
