A note on working with Kevin Svoboda at Town Square Financial… and it’s hard to know where to start. My family and I were required to move as our lease was up and our landlord was selling the home. We thought we were going to have to find another increasingly expensive place to rent when I responded to an email I received from TSF at work. Kevin quickly called me back and we got acquainted, discussing our finances and needs. We had terrible credit and very little money for a down payment, as we were not planning on being able to purchase a home. Within a few short days, Kevin and his team had a plan in place to improve our credit and structure a deal to not just be able to stop renting, but to buy an extremely wonderful home and start building equity in a new chapter of our lives. With Kevin’s wealth of knowledge and experience and our rough financial situation, he prepared us from the very beginning, saying that it could be a roller coaster of ups and downs throughout the process, but swore he’d work had for us and keep us informed every step of the way. And so he did. Tirelessly. It is with the deepest respect for Kevin that I choose to disclose that, while working for us, Kevin’s dad, with whom he had such a close relationship with, passed away. Even while out of town, spending the most valuable time at his dad’s bedside before he passed, Kevin kept in touch with us as the loan process continued. As time moved forward, at Kevin’s direction, we cleaned up our financials, got the necessary down payment set up and yesterday, after the most emotional roller-coaster ride that we’ve taken, signed papers and closed on our first home after 10 years of marriage, three beautiful children, seven college degrees and two thriving careers. I imagine that Kevin’s dad would be proud that his son works so nobly hard to help people pursue the American dream of home ownership. He did for us - he will for you, too. Our relationship with Kevin started as a professional one, but we’re friends now. It is with most sincere gratitude that I recommend Kevin Svoboda and his team at Town Square Financial. Ryan

We had a very bad experience with Town Square Financial. Allen Moniri was very unprofessional. As soon as we let him know we wanted to go with someone else he cowardly emailed my wife and belittled her. My wife politely thanked him for helping us a few times through email (even though he was being very rude) then he cc’d me and my wife in his last email telling us in the most passive aggressive way just how stupid we were for choosing another lender. I have never seen a grown man throw such a temper tantrum via email over clients choosing another lender. We were not locked into any deals with him or his company and we were just shopping around when we spoke with him. We talked to him in person once, and didn’t like what Town Square Financial had to offer so we tried to cut ties a few times. We have absolutely no obligation to choose Town Square Financial and didn’t appreciate the harassment. I do not recommend this company for your lending needs, and especially not with Allen Moniri. P.S. If the manager of this company is reading my review, I can provide our email conversation to show you just how rude he was and how he treats his clients.

It’s been 4 months since we close (June 17, 2016) in our first home here in Grand Prairie, TX. I may say that together with wife, 22-year son, 15-year daughter and 20-month old son, we have been enjoying our lovely home. This was possible with the help and assistance of Allen Moniri of Town Square Financial. Allen is very responsive to any concerns we had in the process, from mortgage application to closing. He answers your questions and return your call promptly. He goes above and beyond, and works late...not to mention the week end calls that he had to answer. There was never a delay in the process. I am looking forward in referring my friends and family, and doing business again with him in the future. Very pleased with the service we received from Town Square. We bought our house over two years ago and worked with Joella, who was extremely helpful, on top of things, and was quick in her turn around. Our agent referred us to her after our first mortgage company through incompetence messed up our application process. Joella was able to quickly get things up and running and was always updating us with the progress of it all, and we closed within 2 weeks I believe.

Poor experience - purchased a condo through Town Square and consistently was nickel and dimed. I had to push my close out by 1 week due to poor expectation setting by the organization. Additionally, they did not disclose all their costs appropriately, going so far to close then call me back a month afterwards claiming I needed hazard insurance and then charging me an extra $25 a month on my mortgage payment.

I was belittled and felt very discouraged after speaking with Keiron Jackson the loan advisor. He was very disrespectful. I will be using a different company. Unsure if he was having a bad day. I am a Realtor and was representing a seller. I was told that the loan officer would close this in 30 days....somehow we ended up at 90 days.. We still had no approval and my seller terminated the file. Did I mention that when we called for an update loan officer Carlos would pick the phone and hang it up? POOOOR, POOOR SERVICE WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL.
