Copy of a letter I sent to this dealership, as they were AWESOME and I wanted the boss to know what fine employees he has in his midst. I wanted to take some time to provide feedback on two employees at your Harley Davidson dealer in San Antonio. The first employee I would like to discuss is Chance McCloud. When I called your store a couple of months back looking for a 2016 Softail Slim in Red, I had the good fortune to speak with Chance. After finding out from him that you had the exact bike I wanted, I told him I would come look at it later that day. I arrived a few hours later and saw a “Sold” sign on the bike with my name on it. I thought that to be very impressive and decided I was at the right place to make my new purchase. Long story short, after much deliberation and discussion, I opted to purchase the 2016 Softail Slim S in black. Chance even took a picture of me on it to send to my husband so he could take a look at the bike. I spent many hours at your dealership, as I wanted to purchase many extras for the bike and had to find out which parts and accessories I wanted and ensure they would fit the bike. Chance was close buy during my complete lengthy visit and was most helpful, thoughtful, attentive and provided OUTSTANDING customer service. When I decided to purchase the bike Chance spent a great length of time working with me (even after leaving the dealership and on his own time) on working the figures and gave me a wonderful “deal” with some discounts, plus a few little extras when we picked up the bike. He answered all my questions and when the parts department told me a couple of items I wanted to have installed on the bike would not work, he then enlisted the assistance of Hilda. Hilda was absolutely wonderful and found all the parts I wanted and ensured I left a very happy customer. Hilda was exceptional and knew more about the parts for the bike than the guys in the parts department. Hilda also spent her own time answering texts when I had questions and was kind, thoughtful, professional and an ABSOLUTE pleasure to work with. I was required to take the bike back to your dealership a few weeks later to have the parts and accessories installed and Chance was most helpful again. When my husband and I picked it up, Chance ensured all items I had purchased had in fact been installed and did a thorough run through with us to provide general information. Since my husband and I were in a great hurry as a thunderstorm was quickly underway and my husband had to ride over 40 miles, Chance made sure all things were checked and double-checked very quickly before we left. Needless to say, I was very impressed with Chance’s attentiveness and once again, left a VERY happy and satisfied customer. In closing, you are a very fortunate man to have these individuals working with you at your dealership. Chance and Hilda are outstanding employees and should be recognized for their EXCEPTIONAL customer service and knowledge of the Harley products. They are a rare breed and my experience at your dealership would not be as memorable had it not been for my working with these fine and outstanding individuals. KUDOS for a job well done. Connie

“I went in with the idea that what I was looking for was non existence, but I love looking anyway. And Chris immediately greeting me with a smile and asked how he could help. I told him, by chance would you have an old school style bike? And he immediately took me to look. We talked all the way and each bike we looked at was great but still not what I was looking for. Then he asked me what I was really looking for. I told him I was looking for a donor sportster to use for my chopper, and he took me straight to this little sportster in the corner and we exchanged info on it. He was very helpful, sweet, honest and guess what - I now own the sportster for my chopper. Got her home that evening, fired her up, and she was immediately mocked up in my chopper frame. Told Chris I would bring the chopper by once I finished her. I would recommend Cowboys to anyone who is looking for honest helpful individuals that listen to you and help you find what you are looking for, not push you into something your not. I will be a return customer and have recommended Cowboys to all of my biker family. U R AWESOME Chris”
Parts Department is Great...POPS and the guys in that Department are above reproach...the Service Department needs attention. Asked to get a Fuel pump bench tested and they looked at me like I was nuts...I was going to have them test my fuel injectors, but I doubt they know what those are. Look I have been a Harley guy for 25 years, Harley is losing money and not attracting new riders for three reasons.....NOT AN AMERICAN MADE BIKE ANYMORE, same old bike designs and parts are too Damn high...250 dollars for a Yugosalvian fuel pump is ridiculous and a $100 fuel filter is crazy......Go back to building bikes for riders not Yuppies with too much money and not enough sense. My Loyalty is starting to fade!!! Victory was a great Bike and I have hope for Indian, But the Japanese bikes are kicking your ass Harley....and they a cheaper to work on and fix when they do break (which is not as often as my Harleys)
Excellent, Reuben and the guys in the back are fantastic. I do most of my own work but if I have questions the guys are always willing to point me in the right direction. Charlie is so pleasant when I stop in to talk and always has a smile and a wave even when he is busy. Hamm is the only person I am going to let touch my bike if I need work done I choose not to do myself. He is pleasant and honest with me. “My bike was not starting as it should I brought in the battery to have it tested and as it turned out it was good so I had to look at other things. But I was treated very well with respect and decency. Not like when you had that shaved head girl and her crew that treated me like I was an idiot. At that time I said I would not be back but I am glad I came back to you. The crew you have now are all very nice to work with, I will be back for tires soon”
“I came in to the Harley store to see about upgrading my softtail I just purchase 7 months ago. I asked Mike (management) whom I worked in the past to assure me for a top sales person because my last purchase was not so great. Hank Strickland came to me and took care of my needs. I must say he heard what I was wanting, and you can tell he has the experience and expertise of the HD bikes. BEST sales person I have ever worked with, and I am happy with my new Road Glide! Thanks to everyone else that was involved with the sales, but Coyboys is my place for any HD bikes and products. ”
While under warranty i took my bike in for a braking issue, the guys there told me it was fixed. 1 month later the same issue came up but this time my warranty on the bike was over. They told me it was broken and needs to be replaced. I asked them why didnt they fix this issue the first time, they told me "We just lubed it up last time but we didnt charge you" but they told me they FIXED IT not give it a patch job, makes me think they patched it up so i can come back after warranty with the same problem.
Beginning with Chris in sales and everyone with whom we interacted, we were very pleased with the level of excellent customer service we were provided. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, as they have always been. This has been my best Harley purchasing experience in years. We were in and out of the store within a couple of hours and without frustration as we generally experience when purchasing our automobiles. We were impressed by the system of the entire sales/service/finance team.

Really great place. I go there often just to hang out. Always something going on every Saturday! Bands, DJ, Stunt riders, food drink and raffles! The management does a great job supporting its HOG Chapter with offers, deals and incentives. Bike nights on Thursdays. Always having group rides leaving from the shop. The sales and repair shop know you by name and we are treated like family. Wish they had room to expand. Small dealership compared to others in the area, but I can get over that!

“I walked in having never owned a bike before. The ENTIRE staff made me feel at ease and right at home. Sam knew my situation (first-timer, no money for a down payment, predetermined price range) and busted his hump to make sure that I got all that I wanted/needed, even getting $2K knocked off to make it happen! I am recommending him and all of CACHD to anyone I speak to who is contemplating purchasing their own piece of freedom.”
These guys have taken care of me every time I need something. Ruben has always been very helpful, even with just advise. Ruben and Michael were there to get my bike in and fixed up when I had a header stud break off in the head. They went over everything with me and also helped me to decide to upgrade to the 110 kit. I needed a high performance starter, they got it all ordered and had me on the road with a nice upgrade all around
I had an awesome experience with Neil on my 2015 Iron. The sale went smooth and the atmosphere was great. This was my first brand new bike and the transaction could not have gone smoother. Everything was explained perfect and no pressure from the sales team in merchandise or parts. I will be back later this year to get a new bike as the Iron will be passed on to my wife. Thank you guys very much.
“Lacy is always so pleasant and upbeat when I call the dealership. I had never met her but had the chance to the other day. I had left my bike for service and was waiting for my wife to pick me up by the door. She offered me a chair and we chatted a bit. I enjoyed the brief conversation we had and it helped to solidify the overall excellent opinion I have of your dealership."
